Zinedine Delan Guelfi (ジネディーヌ・デラン・グェルフィ) is the Cardinal of Water and a member of the highest authority of the Slane Theocracy.
Appearance[]
Zinedine is a shriveled old man. He is so old that one can not correctly tell his exact age and his skin is of dusty brown hue.
Personality[]
Despite his old age, none could exceed Zinedine's intellect. He was able to deduce that a mere army of Death Knights shouldn't be the cause for Thousand Leagues Astrologer's fear and the reason why she is locked up in her room. In a way, he believed that she must have saw something which none of the God-kins may stand no chances against.

The Ruler of Conspiracy Arc[]

After cleaning the sacred room and offering thanks to the Six Great Gods, the council sat together on the round table for a meeting organized by Raymond Zarg Lauransan to share the latest details about the war that Ainz Ooal Gown participated.[1]
The Half Elf God-kin Arc[]

At the time of the invasion of the Re-Estize Kingdom by the Sorcerer Kingdom, Zinedine was in a meeting with the Cardinals and other members of the higher echelons of the Theocracy. When a few of the Cardinals brought up the idea to extract Brain Unglaus from the nation by force if necessary, Cardinal Berenice Nagua Santini believed that Unglaus would refuse to flee due to his character and if they did so, it would only anger the warrior.
The Head of Legislature commented that Unglaus was the same as the Warrior Captain and ultimately they the executives of the Theocracy were unable to understand such people that didn't look at the bigger picture and instead followed their irrational emotions. Thought his words earned him some glaring looks, he apologized s it was just his opinion and believed that retrieving someone with such a disregard of life would be a bad idea, something which Cardinal Dominic Ihre Partouche agreed as did Zinedine who decided to drop the matter of extracting Unglaus.[2]

To two appear to be familiar with each other's actions. Zinedine was the first to see that Raymond was hiding something, like what happened to Thousand Leagues Astrologer. He expected him to piece together everything eventually and provided the fate of the Black Scripture member.

- Given his title as Cardinal of Water, it is possible that he was a member of the Clearwater Scripture.
