Wild Elves (ワイルドエルフ) are a close kin of the wood elves and can be found in the New World and YGGDRASIL.

Background[]

Wild elves were briefly mentioned in the Web Novel. In the Light Novel, it was said that wild elves used to be ordinary elves, but by moving to the grasslands, caused these elves to not only change culturally but also physically, so much so that wild elves are now recognized as a new species.[1]

Appearance[]

Elves are said not to gain much meat on their bodies, however, wild elves are said to develop differently.

Culture[]

According to some notes by the author, wild elves don't dwell in forests but in meadows like humans.[2] But besides the environment, there is almost no difference in culture or the way of life as compared to forest elves or dark elves. Like all their kind they center their daily lives on the elf trees.

Trivia[]

  • In the Web Novel, one of the elves expressed her concern on Aura Debay Fiora's dietary habits, stating she would not grow. Aura became worried that she wouldn't properly develop, comparing her figure to her senior, the other elf reassured her that she would.[3]
