Victim (ヴィクティム) is a Floor Guardian on the 8th Floor of the Great Tomb of Nazarick.
Appearance
Victim has the appearance of a 1 meter long bright pink fetus with an angelic halo above their head and featherless stick-like wings on its back. They does not have a neck of their own. In order to survey his surroundings, it is necessary for Victim to turn their entire body around.
Personality
Despite being one of the most rarely seen of the Floor Guardians, Victim is courteous to his colleagues. Victim is said to speak in the language of the angels: Enochian. Although they cannot make sense of what Victim says verbally, the other NPCs, as well as Ainz, can still understand what they try to express through some kind of integrated translating magic.
As a creation of the Supreme Beings, they are extremely loyal to them and would willingly sacrifice himself if ordered to. They are humble and modest about their position as a living sacrifice, believing to be their sole duty and purpose in life to serve the Supreme Beings and Nazarick.
Background
In the past, Victim once played an essential role in halting an invasion force of 1,500 players and NPCs that made it past the 7th Floor of the Great Tomb of Nazarick.
Victim is sometimes described as the overwatcher of the 8th Floor.

On his way to the Throne Room, Victim encounters the other Floor Guardians, who have also been summoned by their master for a meeting. Demiurge formally introduces Victim to the rest of his fellow Floor Guardians. Victim, being informed of each of them, kindly requests that they should spare their introductions for later. Thus, Demiurge complies with his request and all the Floor Guardians assemble in the Throne Room.[2]
Upon arrival, Ainz Ooal Gown formally greets the Floor Guardian of the 8th Floor. When his master apologizes that they may have to kill him in order to protect against intruders and keeping them trapped under his skill, Victim reassures Ainz that there is no need to fret over his fate. Understanding Ainz's intention, they felt it will be no problem for him to die for the sake of the Supreme Being who acknowledge his usefulness and reason for existence.
Meanwhile, they later bears witness of their master's disappointment in Cocytus' failure to eradicate the lizardmen. After his master agrees to Cocytus's proposal of subjugating the lizardmen, Ainz then orders Victim to stand guard on the 1st Floor of Nazarick while they and the majority of the Floor Guardians travel to the Great Lake.[3]

They later travel back with Ainz through the portal to Nazarick after the matter has settled.[4]

Mass for the Dead Arc

On the day of the National Foundation Day Ceremony, Victim made a physical appearance at the site in Fake Nazarick in the replica of the Throne Room. There they awaited the entrance of their master to officiate the ceremony. The angel was also present at the unveiling of the Sorcerer King Momonga Statue which he praised.[5]
Victim would make a trip outside of Nazarick to the Mysterious Island, escorting Momonga with Albedo to congratulate the survey team for exploring and claiming the island in the name of the Sorcerer Kingdom.[6]
The Floor Guardians is briefly mentioned by Cocytus, in his self-deprecating speech of how insignificant he felt at being in charge of Nazarick's defenses in comparison to the other Floor Guardians making strides in E-Rantel for the Sorcerer Kingdom.[7]
When Enhela Read Gahi took over the Great Tomb of Nazarick through his power granted to him by the Devourer of the Nine Worlds, Victim being on the 8th Floor was among those in the dungeon to have failed to escape when it was taken over. Momonga worried that the Floor Guardian may be brainwashed, but was thankful that at least Victim did not have a World Item.
However after conversing with Enhela of his and his subordinates deductions on Enhela's limits to his control over Nazarick, it was confirmed that the priest could not with certainty control the inhabitants of the 8th Floor Hierarchy, hence Victim was confined to his floor for the duration of Enhela's occupation.[8]
Trivia
- Every time Victim speaks, their words are usually read backward from the end to the beginning of the sentence.
- Victim doesn't exist in the Web Novel. The author said he thought about its basic concept, yet there was no part suitable for Victim to appear.
- Though Ainz ordered Victim to guard the 1st Floor temporarily, he still considers the "core force" of Nazarick stationed at the 8th Floor.
- Ainz ordered Victim to move after the revival of Shalltear. Considering Victim's special ability, it seems that Ainz felt free to use Victim only after he was convinced that the revival of NPCs was also possible in the New World.
- Though Victim is referred as male, in a comment released in Overlord: The Undead Oh!, the author reveals that Victim is genderless.
