    1000 Articles!!!!

    May 10, 2018 by Nomad27

Congrats Overlord Wiki Community, this wikia has reached the 1000th article threshold.

As of now, Overlord Wikia is one of three wikia sites, which are based on a specific Light Novel and each have been adapted to both Manga and Anime series. However unlike the myriad wikias for other Light Novels, these Wikia sites each have over 1000 articles.

    1. Toaruma Jutsuno No Index Wikia: 2,651

    2. Typemoon Wikia: 1,353

    3. Overlord Wikia: 1,000

Overlord Wikia currently is ranked third below Typemoon wikia. This is all thanks to the time and contributions each user has spared to enhance this site. The Name Dale

    August 27, 2016 by Nomad27

Throughout the novels of Overlord and one CD, characters with the middle name Dale have appeared periodically.

    For example:

    1. Lakyus Alvein Dale Aindra

    2. Khajiit Dale Badantel

    3. Elias Brandt Dale Raeven

    4. Nimble Arc Dale Anoch

    5. Torkel Karan Dale Völkchenheim

Majority of the are nobles, except for Khajiit, which means he maybe a son of nobility, though according to his bio gleamed from volume 2 he was born into a poor household, which suggests his mother was a concubine and as a result was of low birth and cast out. Though the name Dale seems to be a common name amongst the nobility not only in the Kingdom but also the Empire. Are they connected somehow? Why would nobles from two rivalling countries share the same name? I doubt intermarria…

My evidence for this is the movement by the beastmen nation.  According to the Dragonic Queen, the beastmen raids have become more frequent no, what were once small skirmishes is now a full blown invasion and total subjucation of the human populace in the Dragonic Kingdom.  But the forbding question is why?  From the statments given by the Queen, the beastmen were content to periodically raid the Kingdom and retreat so that the humans could replenish there numbers...but now they've taken an even more drastic approach to create people farms.

This leads me to this conclusion.

    1) Something east is driving the beast…

A bigger question is why that WCI was out of the Theocracy's vaults in the first place?  By the description in Vol 3 and appearance of the Black Scripture in episode 10.....its almost like they were waiting for something or expecting something to attack them.  I doubt they had prior information about Shalltear and Narzarick.

By the spell's name monster subjugation seems to be its purpose.  If Shalltear wasn't the intended target....who or what was?  And for what purpose would a human-supremacist nation want to control a monster?

We know that after Ainz Ooal Gown conquered the city of E-rantel, he makes the Slane Theocracy as the prepetrators of trying to instigate an attack on the force from Nazarick.  But also there's a rumor about vol 10 being about the dwarves. So which will Ainz target first?
