Unkei (ウンケイ) is an adamantite class adventurer and a member of Silver Thread Bird.
Appearance[]
Unkei is a bald man, with his head shaved due to his faith. He wears a strange battle robe called a kasaya, and a bizarre large straw hat called a fukaamigasa.
Personality[]
Unkei has a modest attitude and speaks in the third person when referring to himself.
Background[]
Unkei is a member of Silver Thread Bird. At one point he and his team slew the Radiant Crawler. In addition, Unkei is an adherent to the deity, the Buddha.
Chronology[]
The Ruler of Conspiracy Arc[]

In the Imperial capital city, Unkei and his team were hired as bodyguards by Emperor Jircniv to protect him during a secret meeting with the emissaries of the Slane Theocracy and High Priests of the Empire at the Colosseum.
After the match between the Sorcerer King and the current Martial Lord, he and his team decide to move to the Karsanas City-State Alliance.[1]

Mass for the Dead Arc[]

A year after the defeat of Enhela Read Gahi, at the behest of Osk, Fan Long and Freivalds participated in a friendly match at the Grand Arena against two female newcomers and lost the match. When the two regrouped with he rest of the team, some of the members were critical of Freivalds and poor his performance, but reconsidered after Fan Long testified that their opponents were indeed strong. Osk and Headhunter Rabbit joined the conversation, with the latter attesting that despite the women's youth they were used to fighting which he felt was strange. Unkei though stated that if someone with the right training, one might have the ability to maintain their youth.
On the whereabouts of the women, while Freivalds wanted to try going to the Singing Apple Pavilion to find them and socialize, the rest of his teammates agreed. Unkei for instance believed that the team should hold a separate reflection meeting.[2]

Unkei is a souryo, who are spiritual magic casters that might lack a bit in the healing department, but which showed exceptional power when battling the undead.
