Unit Scenario: Master Trainer Aura was a character scenario released in Mass for the Dead, featuring the character Aura Bella Fiora.[1]

Episode 1: Aura's Daily Routine

On the 6th Floor of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, Aura Bella Fiora is busy training one of her new wolves. After allowing the canine to lick her, the dark elf gives her pet a treat to share with the rest of the pack before apologizing that she won't be able to play with them and reminds it to remain silent until she signals it and the others. Aura is satisfied that the wolves have become accustomed to living on her floor, and that she has been quite busy taking care of the other magical beasts. The dark elf notes that she is almost running out of food to feed them and that she will have to prepare some more.

Mare Bello Fiore rushes over to Aura. Her twin brother asks if she could take charge in monitoring the Crack for him as he has urgent business that he needs to attend to. Aura already busy taking care of her beasts, asks why Mare, who is suppose to be guarding the Crack, wants her to take his post. As it turns out, Mare needs to submit a record memo of the Crack to Momonga as the undead charged him to monitor the possible changes of the Crack and record what kind of Chaos Beasts appear from it. As Nazarick is still in the dark on the origins of the Cracks, Mare collects as much information as he can to submit his memo regularly so that he can do the job properly on Momonga's behalf.

However when asked by Aura of why the submission wasn't scheduled before, Mare admits to his embarrassment that Momonga's schedule was a little off in the last incident. To lessen the damage, Mare figure he should be the one responsible to give the missed report to Momonga directly. Aura decides to take the temporary post just this once for her brother. Mare is thrilled of the news and also tells her that in addition to submitting the memo he will be stopping by Ashurbanipal to borrow a book. Aura reasonably finds that acceptable and promises to keep watch over the Crack in his stead, but reminds Mare that he should get the job done quickly. Mare thanks her and departs to head to the 10th Floor. Aura now alone hope that Mare keeps his word and comes back early as soon as possible when he is done with the task.

Episode 2: Work I'm Not Good At

Aura arrives at the Crack on the 6th Floor. The eerie portal unnerves her for many reasons. Not just that its existence in Nazarick is an abomination but its continued presence brings forth only Chaos Beasts to their home. Aura keeping guard hopes that one day that Nazarick will fully investigate whatever it is as soon as possible.

After sometime guarding the Crack, nothing has happened, which Aura notes that the portal to be stable except during the cycle of the appearances of Chaos Beasts. Some more time passes and still nothing occurs. Aura thinks that the Crack changed for a moment but realizes she just imagined it. Getting bored, Aura whines that the Crack lookout duty is no fun for her. This kind of work in her opinion is more suitable for Mare who would read spend his guard duty reading books.

Getting annoyed with the boring assignment, Aura vows to scold Mare for saddling her with this dull task. Aura hears some bushes rustling in the distance. Someone is on her level, but it can't be Mare as it's too early for him to return. The only thing Aura thinks it can be is an intruder.

Episode 3: Unexpected Visitor

The 6th Floor Guardian assumes the new presence to be an intruder from another floor. To be careful, she calls out her wolves to go see who came and bring them to her. The wolves obey and dash into the forest. A few moments later, there is a voice screaming out and Slimeko comes out running from the canopy being chased by the wolves.

Aura seeing that it's Slimeko recalls her pets, much to the slime's relief. Slimeko having been nearly attacked reminds herself never to come onto the 6th Floor alone especially when its filled with dangerous monsters. Aura apologizes for surprising her, when Slimeko asks where Mare is as the shift for the Crack lookout is assigned to him. Aura informs her colleague that her brother is on the 10th Floor attending some business. Slimeko is disappointed as she needs to talk to Mare. The slime explains that Momonga was worried about whether or not any of the Floor Guardians may have any problems with physical and health conditions of the guardians who are always busy. The protagonist and her decided to help their master and went around each floor to ask how everyone is doing.

Aura praises the action by Momonga to be kind though she claims that she and Mare are fine as they are not soft like humans. And are ready to led assistance outside Nazarick when called. Slimeko acknowledges the statement promising to pass it to Momonga. Having done her assignment, Slimeko is about to head to another area when Aura stops her asking if they could talk.

The slime having already spoken to the Floor Guardians above the 6th Floor such as Shalltear Bloodfallen and Cocytus while the 9th Floor is being done. The 4th Floor needs no counseling, leaving Aura and Mare the last ones Slimeko to speak with. Slimeko decides to stay to hear what Aura has to say, who promises that it will be short.

Aura then begins by telling Slimeko of how she is always being burned by Mare. Citing how her brother never told her in advance that he had to go somewhere and leaving her to do his job. As she goes on, Slimeko mentally notes that the direction where this conversation is going doesn't well.

Episode 4: Aura's Feelings

Aura goes on her tirade about her inconsiderate brother Mare as Slimeko listens with degrees of discomfort. Once she is done, Aura states that she can't talk like this in front of Momonga or the other guardians so that's why she's spilling out all her daily complaints to the slime. Though the conversation was unexpected, Slimeko did not mind as she heard some interesting stories from the dark elf. From her view point it seems Aura is always distracted by Mare. Aura tells her that two guardians guard the 6th Floor, a problem that none of the other guardians don't have.

At times she feels exasperated with Mare for his antics making her workload more. Slimeko muses that the other guardians are also busy, but for Aura's case, she is doing her job while also paying attention to Mare. The slime asks what Aura will do if the work load keeps her schedule busy will she be alright? Aura hopes that future doesn't come. Though she is complaining, she is not dissatisfied with your current life. And besides Mare isn't really angry or resentful. Rather, Aura thinks she should be thankful for Mare's presence. Thanks to that, she can do all the work given by Momonga.

Slimeko asks is that it? Aura believes that its that kind of thing. It's difficult to explain it well, but she and Mare are siblings. So it is natural for her to take care of Mare, because that child is her important younger brother. Understanding now, Slimeko sees that Aura truly does care about Mare. The reason why there are many complaints about Mare is because Aura cares about him. Aura admits that she is shy to admit this aloud. To Aura, the most important thing is Bukubukuchagama, then Momonga with Mare as a bonus.

The ranking is understandable to Slimeko, after all, Momonga is quite important to her, as Momonga is the one who who summoned her. Feeling refreshed after letting out all her negative thoughts, Aura thanks Slimeko and tells her if she to come and visit anytime. Slimeko plans on it, though she makes a suggestion that next time they should talk about the people who they cherish, not complain.

Episode 5: Bond With Younger Brother

After Slimeko left, and Aura kept watching the Crack for a while. By then the sky on the 6th Floor becomes dusk. However, no matter how long it passed, Mare did not seem to come back. This greatly annoys Aura who demands to know what is taking Mare so long, as even with a small detour he should have been back by now.

Now mad Aura swears that Mare is in for a serious scolding, and vows never to take over for Mare again. A small thought pops in Aura's mind. She doesn't want to think too much, but maybe Mare got caught up in something and couldn't return home? Like being attacked by a Chaos Beast. Aura tries to dismiss the thought, as if that ever happen she can get in touch with him with a magic item right away. Still Mare should have contacted her if there was any problems.

A presence soon attracts her attention on the floor. Mare returns to the 6th Floor when the sky is night. Mare is worried that he came back home late and hopes he won't get yelled at too much. Aura runs straight toward him brimming with rage demanding to know where he has been. Aura berates Mare for his tardiness as Nazarick is no longer safe as it was, especially with the Chaos Beasts. She stress that they always need to be aware of each other's situation, so they can act separately. If Mare neglects to contact her, he won't be able to take another action. Mare tries to say sorry, but Aura now calm is just glad nothing happened this time and tells him to be more careful next time.

The Beast Tamer then notices that Mare is carrying a big package. She asks if he really went to the library and what is in the box. Mare states that its for her and shows her the contents which turn out to be demon beast food. Mare got it at the cantina as he thought Aura was running out of food for the her magical beasts.

Since Aura was taking over as lookout, Mare thought he could thank her by fetching something for her as a way to express his gratitude. Aura sees that Mare was late because he went out in his way to collect the food for her and that her anger was for naught. Aura tells Mare thank you and embraces him, to his surprise as it the hug nearly crushes him. Aura then let's go and asks her brother if he wants to help her feed her pets. Mare asks if that is okay as she normally doesn't want others to do that. Aura states that since he brought the food, she wants show him the beasts eating it. She even offers to teach him how to feed them. The offer gets Mare's attention as he wants to try feeding the beasts. Aura, now happy boasts that they are twin guardians of the 6th Floor and without each other they can't do anything!
