Tripartite Agreement (三国協定) was a treaty in Mass for the Dead.
Description[]
In the aftermath of the incident which saw the emergence of the Cracks throughout the lands, bringing with them strange new monsters and mad beasts. In the face of these new threats, three of the surrounding nations: the Re-Estize Kingdom, the Baharuth Empire, and the Slane Theocracy gathered at a summit in the city of E-Rantel. Each of these nations had experience a loss in national power due to the "change" in the world. Before the new order, the three nations had possessed a history of conflict with one another over politics and war. However, now that they were facing an unprecedented crisis the three nations decided to cooperate together. Upon signing the Agreement, it led to the creation of the Tripartite Alliance, and the establishment of E-Rantel as its base to coordinate a defense against the perils humanity faced.[1]
Appearance[]
No information is given on its physical appearance.
Abilities[]
The document has no actual power, though it establishes the roles of the nations in the Alliance. However, its drafting proved to be immeasurable for the Re-Estize Kingdom, as it finally gave the King and nobles a motivation to eliminate the criminal underground to claim resources and to 'clean their society' to preserve their spot in the Alliance.
The first step in the agreement was to send supplies from the Empire and the Theocracy to E-Rantel, the buffer zone of the three countries.[2]
Also included in the document were laws regarding the extradition of criminals to their respective nations within the alliance.[3]
Trivia[]
- This is the third legal document to appear in Overlord, the first being the Guild Creation Scroll and the second being the Granisle Inscription.
