Cocytus installed as the ruler of the Lizardmen of the Great Lake attempts to instill a sense of loyalty to his master, Ainz Ooal Gown. After the war, a fair number of young lizardmen are frightened to the point that they cry upon hearing Ainz's name. The Floor Guardian tries to give a lecture on respecting the Supreme Being and his noble traits. However, his intimidating appearance only serves to terrify the younglings and many of the parents fear that they will be killed. Cocytus goes to Zaryusu Shasha for advice who tells them that children interpret loyalty in a different way and suggest that there is no need to rush. Children learn by observing adults. If Cocytus were to gain some respect as a leader to the lizardmen the children would follow suit. Seeing sense in Zaryusu's words Cocytus decides to take his advice. The Floor Guardian then begins becoming involved in the lizardmen's society, training them and building infrastructure. His deeds prove fruitful as one of the children does not immateriality cry before him. Later Crusch Lulu invites Cocytus for a feast to show their gratitude toward him and Ainz. Meanwhile, Ainz relaxing in the Great Tomb of Nazarick uses Mirror of Remote Viewing and sees that the lizardmen festivities, though he is confused at the display.
