Tinu Al Rianes (ティナゥ・アル・リアネス) is the Temple of the Water God located in the capital of the Slane Theocracy.

Background[]

In the Web Novel, the sacred city of the Theocracy contains the Six Great Temples. Amongst them, the Temple of the Water God was one of their largest sacred grounds.

Layout[]

The Temple of the Water God was one of the most sacred places in the Theocacy. The Eye of the Water God especially was a place of significance. There it contains a giant surface of the water in the room, surrounded by white circular alabaster pillars supporting an entablature with finely detailed friezes. It was such a mysterious and solemn place that it was worthy to be called a temple.

The floor was polished marble, its continuity is broken by a set of steps leading down into the water located near the center of the room. You could call it a pool inside the temple, even though it was just a square area ten meters in length. Moonlight shone right through the ceilingless construction, reflecting in the water and making it glow palely. Not only the water, but the walls and floor were also illuminated by the gentle radiance as well, making the whole place shine. Thus while there were no torches, everything was blindingly bright.[1]

Trivia[]

  • Tinu Al Rianes was where the Slane Theocracy performed their Planar Eye rituals.
  • Here the Vice-Head Priest of the Water God attempted to use surveillance magic on the Great Tomb of Nazarick only to be thwarted by the dungeon's defense systems.
