Tide Pool (区切られた水場) is the tentative name for a location in Mass for the Dead.
Background[]
The tide pool is an area that serves as a place where the Legendary Mermaid emerges according to local legend. If the Promise Stone is dropped into its waters, the sound it emits will summon the entity from the depths.
Chronology[]
Mass for the Dead Arc[]

The place was sought out first by Tsuibayaya who needed the scales of the Legendary Mermaid to complete his work. Later, Tsuibayaya was convinced by Blue Roses and the protagonist to allow them to take the mission on his behalf when he was injured. While Blue Roses searched fro the Promise Stone, the Pleiades secretly helped the protagonist to search for the place of "separated water" mentioned in the Legend of the Mermaid. It was CZ2128 Delta who found it as she pointed out that the nearby sea cove was now apart from the sea due to being at low tide. The protagonist then rejoined with Blue Roses, and together they used the Promise Stone to summon the legendary being who turned out to be a powerful Merman. After their business with the Legendary Mermaid was concluded, the demi-human had vanished back into its depths. Though unknown to the adventurers and entity, forces from Nazarick had placed observers all around the area.[1]
Layout & Features[]
Originally a cove located near the coast of the Re-Estize Kingdom, it is a tide pool that became like this during low tide. This only occurs so far when four specific stars shine in the sky. Unlike normal tide pools, this body of water is not shallow. Rather, it connects to an underwater network of tunnels that leads to the seabed.
