Takeover of Eight Fingers was Nazarick's plan of gaining control over the criminal organization Eight Fingers as part of Operation Gehenna.
Background[]
Led under Demiurge, he gave specific NPCs like the elf twins the task of invading all the installations of Eight Fingers and capturing higher-ups to bring into Nazarick. The two are are responsible for capturing people from several locations who might possess intelligence. Meanwhile, Sebas Tian while accompanied by Solution Epsilon was handed the duty of disposing the Six Arms.[1]
According to Aura, her master Ainz had reach the conclusion that rather than taking control of the country’s leadership in the Re-Estize Kingdom, they are better off effectively using the Eight Fingers to manipulate the nobles like Philip behind the scene.
Incident[]
During Tsuare Rescue Mission, Sebas confronted five members of Six Arms along with other dealers and criminals involved with them. He easily wipes out the entire Six Arms with the sole exception being Succulent who remains to be alive and later taken into custody by the forces of the Re-Estize Kingdom. Sebas then proceeded to annihilate the other criminals who were with Six Arms in one of the Eight Fingers' facilities, all in the same place where he defeated their strongest combatants.[2]
On the other hand, Mare came face-to-face with one of the Eight Fingers' executives, Hilma in her mansion. Without awareness from Hilma, Mare interrogated her subordinates in and out of the mansion while using his magic to do so along with covering the whole building in vines created by him. Hilma confronted the intruder and uses her Viper’s Tattoo to try and swiftly kill the elf, putting her arms around the boy's neck to activate it. The tattooed snakes on both her hands came to life, raised their heads, and sprang out to bite the boy’s body. However, Mare nimbly extended a hand and seized the whip-like snake as it struck, then proceeded to crush the life out of it without hesitation.
Although Hilma attempted to put up resistance and fight against the elf, everything she did failed as she ended up being rendered immobile by Mare who break her leg using his staff to prevent the former from escaping. Mare then proceeded to drag Hilma away by grabbing her hair and forcefully taking her to Nazarick.[3] Once back in Nazarick, Mare left Hilma in the hands of the Area Guardian Kyohukou to torment and baptize with his minions at Black Capsule. Hilma was tortured for however long until she is finally broken enough to swore loyalty to Nazarick.
Later on, with Hilma finally put under their control, she help guided both Aura and Mare to the Eight Fingers' hideout where the rest of her other colleagues are located at. She powerlessly lets the two elves silently invaded the Eight Fingers' main headquarters undetected and without notice until they decided to reveal their presence to the crime syndicate's higher-ups. Before they even tried to fight back and resist the two intruders, the higher-ups are immediately put under paralysis by one of Aura's powers. Like Hilma, they are then brought over to Nazarick to be torture and pledge loyalty under their new rulers.
Aftermath[]
According to Demiurge, Nazarick have successfully subdued the members of the criminal syndicate’s top leadership with the aid of Mare, Neuronist Painkill and Kyouhukou. All Nazarick needs to do from now on is slowly permeate into them until they are in a position to rule the Re-Estize Kingdom's underworld.
Everything surrounding many of the Eight Fingers' storehouses that had been plundered by Nazarick. For instance, more than half of the crime syndicate's contraband of items had gone missing. Because Eight Fingers are now led under the rulership of Nazarick, the crime syndicate's remaining storehouses that had not been raided by them have still fallen into their control in the end.[4]
Since Eight Fingers is now under Nazarick's strict leadership, Ainz had learned much about the region surrounding Nazarick including a lot of the news about their criminal activities. That even included a great deal of information about the Kingdom and the Empire, which was currently being put to good use. However, there was very little information about the Holy Kingdom, the Theocracy and the Republic, so he would have to carefully gather information on those places in the near future.
Based on what Ainz Ooal Gown already knew of the takeover, everyone alive in Eight Fingers had been tortured and mentally broken by the forces of Nazarick. The useful ones like Hilma are allow to live on and work for Nazarick as their new human servants. They are given the task to manage Eight Fingers under Nazarick's direction moving forward, following each and every order ask of them to do by those like Albedo. The useless ones from Eight Fingers are dealt with in several ways such as handing some of them off to Solution Epsilon as a reward for her contribution to Operation Gehenna.[5]
