Slimeko (スライム子) is a newly-designed virtual character created specifically to host the Overlord (Anime) and Mass for the Dead official channel.

Appearance[]

Slimeko is actually a pink oozing slime molded in a top hat. By pulling her inside out and shaping it, she can mimic the form of a human girl. When using this facsimile, it resembles a young pink-haired girl that wears black gloves, a belt with a skull, and a corset dress. Slimeko's actual body lies on its head as a peculiar top hat. Strangely, her fake body's face is emotionless, though her actually body if closely watched, stretches, and quivers in reaction.

Personality[]

Despite her lack of emotion, Slimeko has a cheery personality. She appears to have no racial attachments to other slimes outside of Nazarick, seeing them as below her. Additionally, she is somewhat of a glutton as she likes to sample a variety of delicacies she comes across, be it cooked food or a rotting corpse.

Background[]

Slimeko, though possessing a visage of a human girl, is actually a slime that can change a portion of her body to look human while her true form resides on top of the girl’s head. Disguised as a top hat, she controls her host like a puppet.

Mass for the Dead Arc[]

Main article: Mass for the Dead Arc

A slime Mercenary NPC that was summoned using YGGDRASIL gold coins by Momonga to help the main character of the game investigate the surroundings outside the Great Tomb of Nazarick after the Mirror of Remote Viewing detected a human village that was attacked by Chaos Beasts. Locating a survivor, Momonga dispatched the homunculus protagonist and Narberal Gamma to find survivors and interact with them. The slime assisted the duo in exploring outside Nazarick after the [Gate] transport was affected by the close vicinity of a Rift, throwing them off course and helped to detect various foes such as wild slimes. She eventually adopted the name Slimeko for convenience sake, which was a dead giveaway for her race and decided to use the alias Surako while in public. After encountering a pack of rabid wolves, she was protected by Narberal Gamma. To conserve energy needed for delivering [Message]s Slimeko took the opportunity to feed on the wolves corpses. After it became apparent they were about to meet humans soon, Slimeko then assumed a more humanoid appearance to better blend in with human society.

She and her comrades soon encountered the Swords of Darkness and Nemu Emmot on their mission to reach Carne Village and save its inhabitants. The NPCs from Nazarick soon attached themselves to the adventurers. Slimeko watched from the side-lines often protecting Nemu. When the group finally reached the village they had to defend it from marauding goblins.

Later when they reached the shelter containing the survivors from the village, Slimeko comforted Nemu when she learned that her sister Enri might be dead as she and another villager led some of the monsters back into the forest. Once the Sunlight Scripture arrived to watch over the villagers she and her comrades joined the adventurers in finding Enri. However, all they could find was a severed arm and brought it back to the village. Slimeko continued to work with the protagonist and Narberal. While the villagers were evacuated by the Swords of Darkness, the trio remained with the Scripture to investigate clues on the Cracks. She was present when her comrades joined forces with the Theocracy in battling the Chaos Beasts and even helped to kill a Giant Chaos Beast when it went after the refugees.[1]

After regrouping with the Sunlight Scripture, Narberal had departed to return to Nazarick. Slimeko then acted as a relay to deliver a report to Momonga on the protagonist's progress. They were joined by the dark elf twins Mare Bello Fiore and Aura Bella Fiora to help them in the investigation. She and the protagonist managed to convince the commander of the Scripture, Ian Als Heim to convince his men to cooperate with the elves despite their prejudices. When the group managed to enter the forest, they had a run in with the Wise King of the Forest. It attacked them with mental magic enchanting Slimeko due to her weak vulnerability. After the beast was beaten by Aura she made it her pet, and forced her, now named Hamsuke, to guide them to the Crack.[2]

Slimeko was present when the expedition reached their destination and found it to be a well spring of Chaos Beasts. Their party was overwhelmed by the miasma and the Chaos Beasts, forcing them to retreat. While Slimeko's group fare better than the Sunlight Scripture, there were still too man to defeat on their own. It was then they were rescued by Leinas Rockbruise and her imperial knights sent from E-Rantel. Together with the knights, they fought the Chaos Beasts and defeated the boss, learning that once all the Chaos Beasts in the area were defeated the miasma from the Cracks would cease.[3]

On a brief return to Nazarick, Slimeko retired to Ashurbanipal to help the protagonist organize the books on the shelves. They encountered Momonga, who was acting more expressive than usual. To her shock the protagonist guesses that it is actually Pandora's Actor impersonating the Overlord of Nazarick.[4]

Slimeko would accompany the protagonist and Ian to the city of E-Rantel, where they were greeted by Saint Clementine. Though she and the homunculus were warned about her by Ian, the two were escorted by her to register as adventurers at the Adventurer's Guild. They came across a new adventurer named Soi arguing with the receptions to be be granted permission to be granted a higher rank job. The adventurer became greatly annoyed after her complaints to assist Clementine were ignored. After word had been received about the protagonist's strength from the surviving refugees of Carne Village, Clementine used her authority to allow a promotion exam to take place for the chance for the protagonist to rise in rank. Soi hearing this also demanded the same and the two agents of Nazarick were forced to partner with her as they fought against several adventurers of incremental rank. The trio having beaten adventurers all the way to platinum were offered a chance to be promoted to that rank, but instead the protagonist declined preferring to earn the rank through the system rather than promotion. Soi then took the opportunity to join the protagonist and Slimeko's party much to the latter's chagrin.

However after the three were in private Soi revealed her identity as Solution Epsilon, one of the Pleiades who had been sent to infiltrate the city in advance. The revelation shocked Slimeko but she was thrilled at meeting her idol and bonded with Solution. Later the trio took on their first mission to examine the sewers of E-Rantel and report the status of the sanitary slimes there. Slimeko's knowledge on slimes proved invaluable as she and her team discovered that the slimes had underwent some mutation becoming more aggressive and hungry. After killing all the slimes in the area, they return back to the guild with the samples. There they make an acquaintance with Sophie Noia, a slime eccentric which causes Slimeko to become uncomfortable around her.

On their next mission, the three adventurers head to a quarry to provide security. To their surprise, they find Sebas Tian working there, having infiltrated E-Rantel before the hero's initiation as an adventurer. Subsequently, he became something of a leader among the refugees due to his kindness and charisma. Its learned that Sebas Tian had been trying his best to protect the humans at the quarry from the Stone Eater raids, however Soi points out that his actions might lead to drawing unwanted attention to himself. In order to make the miners less dependent on his strength, the group help Sebas Tian place himself in a situation where he was seemingly injured by the demi-humans. The act was enough to convince Sebas Tian's loyal comrades to come to his aid and drive the monsters out of the camp. Later after the trio returned back to E-Rantel with a shipment of rocks for the wall, they went to the Sunlight Scripture base where Ian introduced them to Nigun Grid Luin. Nigun was unconvinced by the hero's strength and wanted to test him, demanding the adventurer to spar with him. Slimeko witnessed her partner fight against Nigun, enough for the senior priest to admit the hero's strength. After the three finished their business with the Theocracy, the three returned to the inn where the homunculus retired to sleep.[5]

On the instances back in Nazarick, Slimeko and the protagonist partook in an expedition to locate the Legendary Tree at Albedo's orders to host a cherry blossom viewing for Momonga.[6] At the time she also was introduced to Neuronist Painkill when the torturer came looking for the protagonist at the library. The three soon became good friends as they sat down for tea to discuss their information gathering techniques and made plans to dine next time when they were free.[7]

When the Re-Estize Kingdom was attempting to reclaim an abandoned mine near E-Rantel, Slimeko and her partner ingratiated themselves with Blue Roses who was leading the adventurers sent out to eliminate the monsters infesting the mine. Unknown to the adventurers the mine was being operated by Nazarick to acquire the iron ores within. The undercover adventurers joined the adventurers expedition to monitor their progress as hopefully relay information back to Demiurge. Their information provided the Floor Guardian and his minion Abyss Demon vital information to make adjustments to their plans to turn the dungeon into an unappealing place and drive the adventurers away.[8]

Soi and Slimeko's fame eventually rose with the protagonist's deeds. The feat of their rise to prominence pleased Slimeko as soon they would be promoted to platinum rank. The next job they took was at the E-Rantel's Cemetery, though Slimeko detested it as she believed it was just a common task. However when they are doing the assignment, Slimeko notes to her companions on the large number of undead despite only being on the edge of the graveyard. Later after finishing the job, they receive a new request from Lizzie Bareare from the Pharmacist's Guild to acquire herbs from the Great Forest of Tob. In addition she asks them to do a personal task for her, to retrieve some items of her grandson's dead childhood. When its revealed that the items they are retrieving belonged to Enri Emmot, Slimeko realizes that Lizzie was Nemu Emmot's new guardian. The three adventurers take the job as it would allow them to maintain an association with the famed pharmacist. Their first destination being the forest, the adventurers reunite with Hamsuke who later proceeded to guide them to the spot where herbs are grown. After they collected the herbs, the party separated from the Wise King and then headed to the ruins of Carne Village. There at the village, Slimeko is disheartened by the destruction as it reminds her of the state of Nazarick. At a ruined home, Slimeko used her abilities to search through the debris and eventually found the personal effects of Enri Emmot. Upon their return to the city Slimeko gave the items to Lizzie, who hoped that they would be enough to help mend her grandson's ailing heart.

The next quest brings them close to the vicinity of the Katze Plains. Under a request of the imperial garrison, Slimeko and the protagonist reunite with Leinas Rockbruise to help her and her colleague Nimble Arc Dale Anoch escort supplies from Vadis Free City to E-Rantel. During the journey with a convoy back to the fortress city, the imperials and Nazarick agents run into various threats like Skeletal Dragons and a Death Knight. Slimeko's team's help was immeasurable to the imperials who offered the group a place within the Empire if they decided to join them.

Upon returning to their inn room, the trio start reviewing their accomplishments, when they have an unexpected guest: Saint Clementine. The holy woman then invites them to come to the mayor's residence to discuss a matter of importance. After she leaves, Soi and Slimeko become worried that their duplicity has been discovered. The protagonist calms the two stating to them that they should not panic as they should act accordingly. There, they are brought before various important figures of the city. The topic of the meeting, concerns the findings on the slimes that the protagonist and his team brought back to Sophia Noia. It appeared that the slimes were given high concentrations of alchemical solution, hence explaining the cause of their rapid mutation. Of the main suspect for this is a woman named Hilma Cygnaeus, a high ranking member of the Pharmacist's Guild but also a former member of the notorious criminal syndicate, Eight Fingers. Due to her dubious past and her current position in the Pharmacist's Guild, she was considered to be a culprit who is possibly responsible for the slimes' growth and mutation. The only way for the alchemical solution to have gotten to the slimes was if a member of the guild was poaching the supplies, making her suspect despite Hilma's pleading that she is innocent. Lakyus Alvein Dale Aindra, leading as the accuser for this case, notes that the alchemical solution could only have come from a supply of herbs, which the protagonist and his team recently provided to the guild. The accusation causes the three adventurers to become culpable to Hilma's crime. The three worried that they are under intense scrutiny, are vouched for by Saint Clementine as the protagonist reputation is well known in the Adventurer's Guild and could not be part of such a nefarious scheme. Upon further investigation into the facts of the case, the protagonist and Soi manage to prove Hilma's innocence and their own by pointing out that no record of any stolen solutions were made by the Pharmacist's Guild. Furthermore, it is discovered that the alchemical solution in the slimes that lived in the sewers originated from runoff water from a nearby herb cultivation plot nearby the treatment plant. In sort terms, it is a freak accident that was accumulated over the course of years and worsened due to the larger scale of herb cultivation.

Though the trio proved their innocence in the incident, it left an unresolved problem that a breed of mutant slimes were growing in the sewers. To show their loyalty to the city, the protagonist volunteers to have his team clear the sewers of the slimes as they know the terrain due to a previous expedition. Slimeko and her team then arrive at the sewage treatment plan with the key to open the gates. There, they are met up with by Sebas Tian who came at Saint Clementine's request. To draw the slimes out in the open, Slimeko is selected to be bait. Sitting out in the open, her presence draws the mutants out of hiding. Before the slimes could touch her, all three of her companions swiftly eliminate them. Despite the experience being too close for comfort, she enjoyed being useful and the thrill. The party soon discover a nasty surprise when they encountered a bloated giant slime that had feed off the waste in the water tank. The slime proves to be difficult to handle, as it has regenerative qualities, but Soi using her own acidic slime manages to eat the thing down until its core remains. Briefly admiring her idol's acidity, Slimeko then retrieves the slime core to show as proof of their kill to the city representatives.[9]

Slimeko chaperoned some visitors from another world and interacted with them in the Great Forest of Tob so that the magic caster among the visitors could display her explosion magic. The leader of the group attempted to flirt with her, though he was off put by the fact that she was really a slime.[10] She was later sent out on another mission this time through a [Gate] with the protagonist and the Pleiades. On the other side of the magic spell, there was a Mysterious Island that was believed to have signs of human habitation based on a map brought back by a skeleton summon. While enjoying the seaside view and gorging herself on defeated corpses of Giant Crustaceans, the party found a hidden pirate base that was destroyed by a Giant Mollusk. After defeating the creature, which Slimeko ate the remains, the explorers scavenged the pirate wreck for any valuables. Slimeko retrieved what appeared to be a treasure chest but was disappointed that it was empty. Her colleagues though told her not be discouraged as there was plenty of treasure that they could bring back to Momonga.[11]

Upon returning to Nazarick, Slimeko and her comrades give their report to Momonga who welcomes them back. The Overlord having been kept in the dark of their progress, praises their success in gathering so much information and flawlessly infiltrating the city without suspicion. For their efforts, Momonga believes that a reward is in order for each of them. Though they try to politely refuse, they give into his insistence. Once the formalities are out of the way, Slimeko watches as the protagonist informs Momonga about his invitation from Lakyus to meet Princess Renner. While wary of the risks of meeting such a high profile character so soon, his master in the end, accepts the protagonist consul to move forward with the meeting. Once the meeting is over, Demiurge takes the protagonist and Slimeko aside to share his thoughts on Momonga's non-committal statement of building a new system of their own rather than skulking in the shadows of a nation. From this, Demiurge tells his two juniors that he believes it to be their master's intention to pursue the goal of controlling all the neighboring nations to give themselves more freedom. With that, Demiurge directs the protagonist and Slimeko on their first mission in this great endeavor.

Together with the protagonist and Soi, Slimeko under her alias Surako meet the princess at Ro-Lente Castle in the Royal Capital. There, the team are contacted by the princess to be part of the security group for the Three Kingdoms' Conference of the Tripartite Alliance that will be hosted in E-Rantel. To prevent an international incident from happening, Renner gave the protagonist and his friends a new mission to embark on. This mission propose to the protagonist and his friends involved having to go and solve a string of strange disappearances among the refugees in the fortress city.

Once the team accept the job, they, Lakyus and Gagaran travel back to E-Rantel to solve the disappearances. There at the refugee quarter, they meet with the rest of Blue Roses: Tina, Tia and Evileye. Despite their search, the group have come up with no leads to the whereabouts of the missing people. To catch the culprits, a plan is enacted to make use of Surako as bait, whilst the others work in the shadows to monitor for signs of the enemy and trap them. Surako is disguised as a refugee using clothes donated from a pair of helpful civilians. The undercover adventurer proceeds to move through the alleys, under the watch of her assassin allies. Nothing seems to occur, passing by each assassin at designated locations, until after she walks past Soi who then detects someone to be approaching Surako. She alerts the others to the scene. Surako is soon about to be grabbed by three men in dark robes. but they are stopped by several gunshots aimed at their legs from a hidden cloaked figure on the rooftops. The distraction gives enough time for Soi to come and save the undercover slime. After the men uses Skeleton Warriors to buy them time to escape, they are lost by the adventurers momentarily. Soi though manages to locate a secret passageway in the alley, allowing of them to continue the chase. Two of the robed men who attempts to avoid being captured decided to commit suicide, but one of them is stopped by Soi. Blue Roses then takes the man into custody to be interrogated.

After Blue Roses departs, Surako thanks Soi for intervening in saving her from those men, however the undercover maid redirect her thanks to Shizu who reveals herself to have been shadowing the group after Soi called for reinforcements. The maid then departs wishing the group luck in their mission. Once the authorities had interrogated the man, it was determined that the culprits were members of Zurrernorn. It was believed that the cults was going to enact a ritual that could create powerful undead called Death Spiral. Their investigation eventually took them to the E-Rantel's Cemetery, where the adventurers split into three teams to cover more ground. The protagonist and his team now alone, enabled Shizu to come out of hiding to aid them. An increase in the rise of undead was seen east in the graveyard where the adventurers regrouped and found a secret entrance to mausoleum. There, they end up encountering resistance in the form of Six Arms, who were once members of Eight Fingers, now turned mercenaries were working for Zurrernorn in their plans. The adventurers managed to kill an Executive of the cultists as well as one of Six Arms. Nearly all of the members of Six Arms are captured, save for Zero who managed to escape being a threat at large. With Zero still a possible threat out there, Princess Renner places the duty of tracking him down and bringing him to justice falls to Blue Roses. To cover the Kingdom's security requirements for the upcoming summit meeting, the protagonist and his friends are asked to act as escorts for her family.[12]

During a quake that affected the mine in Nazarick's possession, Slimeko was party of the team sent to survey the new veins of ore that were discovered. She encountered the Abyss Demon who she was glad to see to have recovered from his battle with Blue Roses, well at least physically, mentally she was surprised that he had become quite traumatized by his near death experience.[13] When she returned to Nazarick, Slimeko was in the library cleaning the shelves with the protagonist. The two are sought by Mare and Aura when they show them a weird pumpkin. The thing turns out to be alive as it attacks the slime, but is quickly bashed by her friends. Not wanting it to go to waste, Slimeko ate the remains. An infestation of the pumpkins break out on the 6th Floor causing all of Nazarick to be on alert. Since eating the pumpkin, Slimeko began to experience internal discomfort and forcibly spits out the pumpkin that was still very much intact and alive. The pumpkin creatures prove to be impossible to kill, but the protagonist realizes what they actually are and hurries with Slimeko to retrieve costumes for Mare and Aura. After informing that they needed to carve and place candles in the monsters to exorcise them, Slimeko assisted in removing the other pumpkins around the dungeon.[14]

The slime would serve Nazarick acting as an observer to some new visitors from another world, this time a battalion of soldiers.[15] On another occasion, journey with the protagonist, Aura, and Cocytus to the Great Lake to assist a lizardman named Zaryusu Shasha to determine why the lake's temperature was rising. It was believed Caloric Stone was responsible and the team wished to claim the World Item for Nazarick, though it turned out to be Giant Lizards containing Heatstones to be the reason. Still the items were taken back to Nazarick as payment and the team part the lizardmen as allies.[16] At the initaion of the Nazarick Fighting Tournament, Slimeko used her skills as an orator to act as an announcer alongside the protagonist.[17]

To prepare a Nazarick hosted Christmas party, Slimeko was part of the group sent by Albedo to acquire a meat dish. Using their contacts in E-Rantel, the group determined that the best meat to use for their part was a peryton more specifically the famed Pure White Peryton. With the aid of Hamsuke the party hunted the elusive creature in the mountains and brought it carcass back to Nazarick for the feast.[18]

When Nazarick was affected by a strange "New Year's mood" that was affecting all the NPCs, Slimeko, the protagonist and Solution Epsilon were called back from E-Rantel by Momonga. The slime noted the strangeness of the inhabitants and why they seemed not to be concerned about the potential danger they were in. At the Takemikazuchi Shrine, playing along with the New Year's event Slimeko writes down her New Year's aspiration in calligraphy to be "Eating Faster". Slimeko would witness Momonga defeat Shiramochi-ō who was responsible for the New Year's event.[19] Unfortunately the death of Shiramochi-ō did not end and the White Mochi King created a time loop repeating the events of the New Year, with slight minor differences. In the new loop, Slimeko once again was recalled back to Nazarick by Momonga to solve the mystery of the New Year atmosphere in the dungeon. However a new character named Shiro was traveling with them and they had no idea on his identity. In her New Year's resolution, at Bishamonten Shrine Slimeko aspired to improve her acidity so that should could digest faster. Later she witnessed Shiro reveal himself to be Shiramochi-ō and fought Momonga. To the shock of Slimeko and her friends Shiramochi-ō chose to willingly die as he grew attached to the Nazarick denizens and was unwilling to hurt them. Before he allowed himself to be killed she watched him play his last game with Aura and Mare.[20]

To resolve the issue of the Queen War, Shalltear came to the protagonist and Slimeko to divine Momonga's intention. It was believed by Shalltear that Momonga's lack of a decision on the Queen War was a hidden test to prove herself worthy as being his bride. Thinking that was the case, Slimeko and the protagonist aided her in formulating a strategy to win the Overlord's heart through the "Trial of Love". The idea was almost successful as it did garner Momonga's attention, after Shalltear took her friends advice to play hard to get. But when she made her declaration of love to Momonga she was sadly informed them that there was no hidden challenge. Despite the failure Slimeko encouraged to try again next time to win their master's heart.[21]

Surako and her friends having accepted the job from the princess, chaperoned the royal family to the venue of the summit. Once there, she and comrades observe King Ramposa III's talks with Emperor Jircniv Rune Farlord El-Nix of the Baharuth Empire and Cardinal Raymond Zarg Lauransan of the Slane Theocracy on the state of the world since the emergence of the Cracks. While the situation with the Contaminated Beasts and Chaos Beasts have yet to be resolved, the nations agree that more investigations must be conducted to determine the cause of the phenomena. The revelation from the Theocracy brings intrigue to her and her comrades when Cardinal Raymond discloses that appearance of the Cracks and Chaos Beasts coincide with a cycle that happens when a new power appears in the world at regular intervals. Tensions flare between the heads of state of the Empire and the Kingdom on what direction the Alliance should take to handle the crisis. Eventually, a recess is called to pause the meeting to allow the representatives to rest. The escorts are relieved for the duration and have a brief encounter with Fluder Paradyne.

The meeting eventually resumes, and Slimeko and her friends continue to watch the proceedings. Emperor Jircniv continues to place his agenda before the Alliance, one being the implementation of a merit-based system to equally divide resources. This goes in opposition to King Ramposa's idealism as he fears that those unable to contribute will not afford to exist in the system by the Bloody Emperor. Jircniv is blunt on the reality of their situation that their resources are limited. If Ramposa III wants to protect his people, he then needs to get stronger people in the Kingdom to work. He recommends that the Kingdom bring forth all its able bodied people to contribute to the alliance and only then would he be satisfied. Gazef Stronoff taking a stand for his liege pledges that he swears that the troops of the Kingdom led by him will be the work of thousands. The emperor is skeptical on such a claim, but offers a chance to prove it, by having the escorts of the Kingdom and Empire show their abilities in a match.

Slimeko and her friends, alongside Gazef are placed in a series of mock duels against Nimble, Fluder, and to their surprise Zero who had gained diplomatic immunity in the Empire. Together with the Warrior Captain, Slimeko's adventurer team overcome each opponent with the final match including the protagonist Soi, and Gazef against Fluder Paradyne. The match is an intense one but the group manage to drive Fluder to the edge, until he immobilizes them with his [Triple Arts Magic] magic. His spell is cancelled by Enhela Read Gahi, who declares the match to be over as an emergency has occurred. It turns out that a group of Chaos Beasts and Contaminated Beasts have begun invading north of E-Rantel and broke through the imperial and Theocracy defense lines.

Seeing that the nations will need to devote a reasonable amount of forces to subjugate the monsters without leaving the city vulnerable, the protagonist volunteers his party to handle the monsters and help evacuate any surviving soldiers. Ramposa readily accepts the help and approves of the mission. The party then heads to the front lines where they, Nigun and what is left of his men just at the edge of the city, trying to reestablish a perimeter. Learning from him that Ian and Leinas remained behind at the battle lines to buy time for him and his men, the group quickly head to their last location. Outside the boundaries of the city, they are joined by both Shizu and Entoma Vasilissa Zeta who help them fight their way to the survivors. They make it in time to find survivors unconscious, but alive before a Chaos Beast that can use Martial Arts. The Nazarick agents battle and succeed in killing it, and with its death the leadership of the horde collapses saving the city and earning the Alliance's gratitude.[22]

Slimeko was part of an expedition led by Momonga to the Roble Holy Kingdom to investigate why it fell. The group journeyed to the Great Wall where they found the structure to be overrun by Chaos Beasts. The expedition found evidence that the forces at the wall were all killed by a powerful entity while doing training drills. The investigation took them to Kalinsha where Slimeko used the opportunity to taste the bodies to determine when the city was attacked and to slip under the debris to collect journals and maps. The expedition encountered a Dragon Chaos Beast which was eventually slayed and a strange artifact was brought back to Nazarick to be examined.[23]

Slimeko was with the protagonist during a meeting with Demiurge who asked the latter on a hypothetical question of what would happen to the Kingdom if it sent one of their best assets out in the field and never came back. He of course was using this to bring up the topic of Gazef Stronoff's disappearance which the protagonist stated he would make use of that situation to Nazarick's advantage. The two later returned to their high class inn in E-Rantel where Solution is at. They are interrupted when Prince Zanac Valleon Igana Ryle Vaiself appears and escorts them to his father. There, Slimeko and her friends learn about the reason of Gazef's disappearance and how he and his men were tracking the origin of the Chaos Beast horde that attacked the city. It was reported that he found a cave where they originated, but ever since exploring its depths they lost contact with the troop. The slime watches as the king implores the protagonist's aid, offering anything in return.

The protagonist seeing an opportunity is at hand, requests Ramposa III to consider forming an alliance with the protagonist's nation and presents a formal letter that he wishes to be approved. If such an alliance were made then the protagonist's nation would approve of the latter's involvement of this mission that the Kingdom wishes for them to undertake. The Kingdom having no choice but to consider it, agree to the terms. The adventurers then head out to the location, and are met by Shalltear Bloodfallen who assumes the alias of Shall and an adamantite adventurer. Before setting out to Gazef's location, the group head to the Crack site in the Great Forest of Tob to practice a rescue operation as the poison is seen as an obstacle that might impede Gazef's safe return. After Shall discovers a method to safely dispel the poison fog, the group then depart from the forest to continue onward with their mission to retrieve Gazef, whether he is dead or alive.

The group arrives at the cave where the Warrior Troop was last seen and also reunite with Blue Roses who were also dispatched. However, it is being guarded by two powerful Chaos Beasts. Defeating them takes not only the combined efforts of Blue Roses and the protagonist's team, but also the intervention of Brain Unglaus, an old rival of the Warrior Captain.[24]

After the opponents are taken care of, the protagonist volunteer to head into the cave to search for Gazef and his men while the others guard the entrance. Going deeper, they discover the remains of what appears to be a base camp in the cave. However, it has been turned to rubble as the ceiling had collapsed on the soldiers and magic casters that were in charge of communication. Slimeko using her slime body determines that there are no survivors in the rumble. Using her senses of smell, Slimeko guides her companions following the trail of blood and bodies.

Soon enough, they eventually come across a surviving soldier who remain alive. Slimeko attempts to approach him, but her companions quickly step in, narrowly missing being killed by two Stone Eaters that were using the body as bait. After defeating the demi-human tribe the group continue on, until they come into a vast cavern where a Crack has formed. But to their shock the entire area is covered in body, from wounds of a blade. As to who the perpetrator is, it is found that Gazef Stronoff is the only survivor and had succumbed to the poisons of the Crack which had ended up turning him into a feral monster. Shalltear then steps in to engage him. Slimeko and her friends watch as Shalltear fights Gazef tirelessly until he has exhausted himself of all his Martial Arts and is quickly subdued by Soi.

The group then discover that Gazef wasn't alone as a mysterious tentacle beast emerges out of the darkness and tries to take Gazef's body. The Nazarick agents prevent Gazef from being eaten and turn their attention on killing the new threat. They succeed in slaying the monster, which is then turned over to Nazarick for study while they transport Gazef back to E-Rantel.[25] Slimeko would observe a new batch of visitors from the Crack in the Throne Room, this time the situation devolved where one of the visitors fell into her dark persona and began attacking Nazarick and her own allies.[26] Due to her experience in locating the Legendary Tree, Slimeko and the protagonist joined Demiurge's latest quest to locate the Parent Tree for Momonga.[27]

Slimeko and the protagonist would be involved in a plot to have Albedo seduce Momonga. They secretly helped her make her move to arrange her to work as a maid and get close to the undead. The plot was expanded to get Momonga alone with Albedo using a security drill on the 9th Floor to lock the area down. The plot was caught wind by Solution who had some suspicions of something going on after she interrogated the protagonist and Slimeko. Unable to keep her silence to her senior, Slimeko spilled the plan to Solution. Solution then informed Shalltear of Albedo's plan causing the vampire to rush back to Nazarick from the mine near E-Rantel and save Momonga from Albedo forcing herself on him.[28]

The Redeem Slime would go on further missions, such as prospecting for a gold vein in the Azerlisia Mountains with the help of some visitors from another world.[29] And on a fact finding mission to determine if there was evidence of players in the New World. It led to a seaside village where a dwarf named Tsuibayaya was working in replicating swimsuits from the tales of Minotaur Sage.[30] And more close to E-Rantel, Slimeko helped to investigate the hauntings of the Tob Forests. Her team were reunited with the Swords of Darkness who were able to clarify that the Harvest Festival was necessary to appease the evil spirits of the land. Working with the Pleiades she helped to prepare a suitable festival only it to be crashed by the real culprit Kyuko. Once Kyuko was subdued, and misunderstandings were cleared up, Slimeko witnessed the fox join Nazarick voluntarily.[31]

When a new batch of visitors came, led by a hero and composed of a trio of goddesses, Slimeko acted as one of their guides to hunt food. This was in part due to the paranoid nature of the hero who did not accept the charity of Nazarick, believing the food served was drugged. Their hunt is interrupted by the appearance of the Grim Reaper who attacks them forcing Slimeko to flee with Narberal and the protagonist in the air.[32]

After the visitors left and returned back to their world, her team stationed in E-Rantel would be called to investigate one of their own in Nazarick: Sebas Tian. It was believed by Solution that the butler was secretly meeting in E-Rantel with someone without clearance from Momonga. Slimeko was horrified by the accusations pertaining to Sebas Tian, and was had uncomfortable with the idea that her team was sent to spy on him. Slimeko was relieved to learn that Sebas Tian was not a traitor but doing his own independent investigation of the slave ring in the Black Market. The said investigation led to the protagonist's team in taking down Cocco Doll and capturing a New World demoness named Isabella.[33]

Silmeko would later attend a gathering in the Throne Room where Demiurge laid out Nazarick's plan of world domination. As a part of those plans, once her team returned to E-Rantel, they gained an audience with King Ramposa who wished to reward them for Gazef's safe return. It was there that she witnessed the protagonist negotiate to have the Re-Estize Kingdom turn administration over to his 'nation' in order to establish a system that could better handle the current state of the world. Though the royals were skeptical on the group's political affairs, they agreed to think on the matter to the protagonist. Once the meeting ended, Slimeko praised her partner on how easily he handled the royals. While they are discussing the meeting, Slimeko hears a familiar voice coming from an alley. She goes there to take a look followed by her companions, where they find Nemu being accosted by two men. Before they could intervene in the mugging, a strange pale faced boy wielding a staff approached the men.

The men attempt to intimidate him only to be swiftly killed by his magic. Seeing Nemu's relieved face, the adventurers confirm that the girl knows the young man. They make themselves known to the girl, who happily greets the protagonist and Slimeko. Nemu then introduces them to Nfirea who turns out to be the grandson of one of their previous clients who asked them to collect things from Carne Village. It was here the young man asked them about Enri Emmot's fate. After Slimeko and the protagonist told him about how she died, Nfirea briefly exposed a face of anger towards the Chaos Beasts for their role in killing his friend. Having learned what he needed to know from both Slimeko and the protagonist, Nfirea then bids the group farewell as he leaves with Nemu. Slimeko having watched the young alchemist noted that he was unstable due to his cold-blooded reaction to killing the crooks, though the protagonist and Soi commented that he was interesting and should be kept a close eye on.[34]

After the hot spring facilities of Spa Resort Nazarick were fully repaired, Slimeko did some research in hot springs and activities so Momonga could use it to strengthen the bonds between him and his subordinates. In a dispute over the right to be Momonga's bathing attendant, Slimeko acted as a moderator for the Miyoshi Cup.[35] At the time of a second Christmas party in Nazarick, Slimeko and the protagonist helped to make preparations.[36] In an unusual event when some visitors from beyond the Crack returned to Nazarick, Slimeko was there to welcome them back. They brought a new face among them who had information on the future and the apparent destruction of Nazarick. Slimeko was part of the group that helped to ensure the future did not come to pass.[37]

While helping the protagonist move some books from the library to his residence in E-Rantel they met with Mare asking them about a phrase "in love". The events led to the creation of Project Valentine and the use of chocolate confections as diplomatic tools. A bake off was organized and Slimeko and the protagonist witness Albedo and Shalltear's renewed rivalry over the Queen War and interest in participating. Acting as a neutral party, Slimeko served as the moderator for the taste competition.[38]

In a plan to improve mental heath of the people of E-Rantel, Nazarick served as a test bed for an idol plan with Shalltear and Aura taking the roles of Acidity and Alkaline and creating LittleMass. For the duration of the idol plan, Slimeko acted as their attendant, advising them when they were on break and also coordinating the handshake events.[39] When the idol group were about to split due to personal reasons, Slimeko became worried and was stunned that its end was premeditated by Demiurge to drive more attraction for the finale.[40]

Due to the success of the idol plan among the general maids, Momonga decided to apply it in E-Rantel in the form of an exchange tournament. Officially it was an event sponsored by the Re-Estize Kingdom and Sorcerer Kingdom to help recruit more adventurers and advertise chocolate trade item. In truth it was to gather information on the adventurers and their strengths and also create a opportunity to insert Shalltear and Kyuko as new undercover Nazarick agents as adventurers. The protagonist and Slimeko worked their end in E-Rantel to organize the event using their connections to have Blues Roses and even the Swords of Darkness participate.[41] At the start of the tournament, Slimeko under her alias as Surako acted as one of the announcers with Pluton Ainzach.[42]

While playing her role as Surako in E-Rantel, her adventurer team is paid a visit by Prince Zanac, wishing to hire their services to investigate a string of disappearing bride candidates happening in Marquis Blumrush's territory. Her team accepted the assignment after Zanac warned that if nothing was done not only the innocent will pay but his idiot brother might get involved and make things worse.

During the mission Surako worked with not just her team but Blue Roses to find if Blumrush was truly the guilty party. While observing Evileye refused to act as a bride candidate for the mission, she is shocked when Narberal uses her blunt words to convince Evileye to take the assignment as part of being professional. As part of the survey team she collected testimonies from the victims, include a worried father whose daughters were taken while in the noble's territory and who she pitied. The team got pulled into a separate mission which was assisting the city soldiers in exterminating undead that appeared in a nearby mine.

The undead were not irrelevant to their original mission as they were being drawn to the mine due to Zurrernorn, who were using the brides as sacrifices. Her team reunited with Narberal and Evileye who still in their bridal gowns gave the slime the opportunity to admire their outfits. Surako would be surprised that Evil Lord Greed was at the mine, expecting AByss Demon instead, but his presence at the mine provided the smoking gun that would oust Blumrush as collaborating with not just a death cult but the Demon Emperor. After the mission was completed she and her team returned to Nazarick and were lauded for their work as their efforts helped to secure the mines around Re-Blumrushur for Nazarick's extraction.[43]

In an incident that led to Shalltear using her adventurer identity of Shall to gain the trust of a strange girl named Anne, Slimeko and the protagonist went to the gate of E-Rantel to greet their fellow undercover operative and her new associate. The introductions were joined by Clementine, though to the confusion of the adventurers, fled after seeing Anne.[44]

Slimeko was with the protagonist and Solution before Momonga and several members of the instigators of the demonic raid on E-Rantel. There, she witnessed Momonga praise each of the members of the operation for their success. Each members from Shalltear, Demiurge, and Pandora's Actor were granted a wish that was made true by Momonga. The protagonist who provided his identity and vocal chords for Pandora's Actor to use for the operation. Despite the pain of having his vocal chords removed via a Lip Bug, the homunculus believed it to be a small price. For his reward, she asked to be allowed to live outside of Nazarick.

Though this wish was almost treasonous to separate from his master, the homunculus explained that it was out of practicality as he intended to take on the role to effectively manage E-Rantel city in preparation of Nazarick's eventual takeover of the Alliance. She was relieved that the protagonist's reasoning was accepted by Momonga who permitted. However, Albedo felt shocked of he and the rest for forcibly volunteering herself on a field mission with the protagonist to secure a treaty with the Alliance when they signed over E-Rantel's administration rights to Nazarick.

The three undercover adventurers later headed back to E-Rantel while they waited for Albedo to arrive for the summit of the Tripartite Alliance. Once they're there, Slimeko marveled at the amount of progress that had been made since the city and Alliance had followed the protagonist's leadership. From the completion of the Fourth Wall, expansion of the residence and agricultural fields, the integration of demi-humans into human society, all seemed to be leading towards the protagonist's ideal of creating the capital of the Alliance into an open city. After the trio helped assist in the distribution of rations to the people, they briefly met with Saint Clementine, who is now the elected administrator of the new city section. The three passed some words of congratulations to her before they were joined by Jugem who trained with the protagonist.

They eventually met up with Albedo now in regal attire as the Prime Minister of their nation, and escorted her to the summit venue. Slimeko and Soi nearly sweated nervously when Albedo was greeted casually by a passing ogre, but the situation did not escalate to violence as Albedo controlled herself, but not without subtly threatening the demi-human before the adventurers hurried her away. At the venue, they were greeted by Emperor Jircniv who Slimeko was shocked by his friendliness towards the protagonist and honest smile on his face. The emperor noticing her discomfort explained that after being saved by the protagonist when Jaldabaoth was about to execute him back then, he had begun a new lease on life ever since.

At the venue, Slimeko witnessed King Rampossa III and Emperor Jircniv formally acknowledge the protagonist and his deeds and cede the administration rights of the city to him and his nation. But it was not without objection from Enhela of the Theocracy who was worried about the potential of abuse of power. Though Albedo and the protagonist managed to assure the priest's fear, allowing the Theocracy to act as a deterrent to his nation's influence, which then lead to the Theocracy retracting its objection. Before long though, the Sorcerer Kingdom signed a treaty with the Tripartite Alliance for the city of E-Rantel, making it into an independent city for all and the protagonist was awarded the title of Territory Guardian of E-Rantel.

Slimeko and Soi then joined the protagonist in his duties, the first was to oversee the new E-Rantel Magic Research Institute. Though initially excited for the inspection, when she found the location to be located in the E-Rantel's Cemetery Slimeko's excitement waned due to the dark atmosphere and dangerous monsters contained within. Though Slimeko brightened up when she saw some of the floors dedicated to research such as on slimes and the purpose of why the institute was station in the graveyard. At the last level, she ends up expressing her own surprise from seeing Fluder's appearance there and his clinginess toward the protagonist, due in part to how the homunculus had secretly solicited the old man's help by revealing him Ashurbanipal and solidifying his cooperation with Nazarick.[45]

During the subjugation of the mind-controlled Shalltear Bloodfallen in the Katze Plains, Slimeko coordinated with the protagonist to command the army of summons against the vampire.[46] Later Slimeko in E-Rantel heard from Pluton Ainzach that the undead in the Katze Plains was decreasing, unaware that the region was now under the control of Nazarick. The Nazarick spies managed to attribute the decreased undead to the actions of Kralgra having sacrificed their lives and subdued the Captain of the Ghost Ship.

When she and her partner returned to Nazarick and briefed Momonga, Albedo and Demiurge on the movements of the Empire. So far it was learned that the members of Six Arms were conducting a undead elimination campaign through the plains, but not for money but to capture the elder lich in control of the Ghost Ship. After their spies reported that the workers were working for rebellious nobles, she wondered what prompted the nobles of the Empire to undermine the emperor. From her summoner Momonga she learns that the rumors of Emperor Jircniv's capture by the Demon Emperor Jaldabaoth has made him viewed as weak by the former aristocracy who see it as a sign to revolt and reclaim their power.

It only made things more confusing as why Jircniv was not doing any actions to crush the opposition. Possibilities were thrown around that the emperor was truly traumatized by the demonic raid, acting or even unaware of the danger. Among these Momonga ordered the undercover adventurers to wait and see what would happen before committing any actions. She and the protagonist were to ensure that no one from the side of the Kingdom would interfere with Nazarick's operatives acting on the Empire's side.

The Slane Theocracy would notice the lessening numbers of undead at the borders of the Katze Plains and would sent Nigun and Ian to investigate. To make sure that the priests did not come across Six Arms in the plains, she and her team of Darkness acted as their guides. When they were deep enough in the plains, Slimeko secretly sent a [Message] to the Iguva=41, new elder lich in control of the Ghost Ship, to drop down a Death Knight as he passed them in the fog. The powerful undead was enough to convince the members of the Theocracy that the undead were not vanishing but merely hiding deeper in the plains.[47]

While researching in the library with the protagonist, the two unexpectedly met with Momonga. Since he was present, the Overlord offered to assist the protagonist in clarifying any cultural knowledge that he did not know. The protagonist then showed Momonga a unfinished work which the undead stated was just a piece written by one of his comrades. After reading it, though the contents gave Momonga an idea to host a Tsukimi. Slimeko and her team were outside the dungeon when they were called to attend the festivities back at Nazarick. En-route to the dungeon, night had spontaneously changed back to noon. To get to the bottom of this phenomenon, Slimeko and her team once again returned back to E-Rantel to gather information first from speaking with the Sword of Darkness at the Adventurer's Guild and then attending an emergency meeting with the guildmaster. At the meeting Blue Roses was present, though strangely Lakyus and Evileye were wearing revealing bunny girl outfits. The slime was the first to ask why they were in such clothes, but the adventurers did not seen bemused by their state of dress and so the meeting continued.

Once the meeting was over, Slimeko used her magic to send a [Message] to Momonga. Acting as a relay she learned that the protagonist had figured out that the work he found in the library was actually a prophecy made by one of the Supreme Beings, with references exactly pertaining to the current situation. And suspected that the members of Blue Roses were the invaders from the moon mentioned in the prophecy. To confirm their suspicions she and her team went to Renner to ask what Blue Roses had been doing lately. But the princess was unable to tell them anything as Lakyus was very time lipped on her team's next assignment. Slimeko believed that they could inquire the guild of what Blue Roses was up to, but the information was confidential per guild rules. The protagonist had Slimeko get in touch with Demiurge so that he could go over the contents of the prophecy to seem what the future may hold.

Slimeko's team would approach Blue Roses out in the field when they were supposedly investigating the cause of the daytime. They offered the female adventurers sake to drink. The members of Blue Roses were proven to be imposters after they failed a test by Soi who claimed that the drink was a potion that affected undead which they responded that they were despite supposedly being human. Now with undeniably proof that these people were not their allies, Slimeko and her team, who was also joined by Narberal faced off against the fakes. The fakes eventually dropped their disguises revealing themselves to be a sort of slime that Slimeko never seen before.

Defeated the heteromorphs explained that they were survivors an attack by Chaos Beasts that drove them from their home. Having come to the region of the Kingdom, the five heteromorphs by chance sighted Blue Roses training nearby and copied their appearances using their abilities to blend in with the locals. The daytime was in fact caused by their Fake Sun to prevent them their affliction of turning into mindless beasts. After their story was finished, Slimeko and her team decided to bring the five refugees back to Nazarick as new recruits. Once the phenomenon was solved, the slime was later seen enjoying dango at the reinitiated Tsukimi.[48]

Slimeko and her partner the protagonist would return to the library to find Shalltear and Albedo researching on the Halloween Festival. It was then she and the protagonist brought the issue of the popularity of chocolate in E-Rantel since its debut during the adventurer exhibition and how it was destabilizing the Adventurer's Guild's position. In order to supply the demand for the confection, the three arranged to create a new cheap mass produced type of chocolate for the citizens of E-Rantel. After it was agreed, she and the protagonist went back to E-Rantel to tell Pluton Ainzach of the plans of the Sorcerer Kingdom to develop the sweet and allow the guild to be in charge of its distribute for a small profit in return. Once that task was completed she and her partner returned to Nazarick in time for the banquet of the Halloween Festival on the 6th Floor.[49]

A trio of magical girls would be the current guests of Nazarick. Noticing the plight of the diminishing military might of the Empire and the havoc of the Chaos Beasts, the trio with permission from Momonga applied themselves to covertly hunting the monsters from the air. Credit for the kills were given to the Slimeko and her team, who made public appearances at the scenes of battle to enhance their image as saviors in the Empire. Slimeko then bore witness to when the trio of magical girls re-establishing contact with their allies who were trying to bring them back to their original world.[50]

Surako accompanied the protagonist in his duties as Territory Guardian and whilst discreetly heading to the E-Rantel Magic Research Institute, she and her team of Darkness were greeted by Saint Clementine. Exchanging some words, they learned that there were rumors about a mysterious "Red Shadow" appearing on the rooftops at night. The description of the being vaguely reminded Surako of Santa Claus which was an impossibility in the current world. Still it was interesting news that warranted investigation. The group headed to the institute where Fluder and Nfirea welcomed them. There Surako witnessed Soi fight the still feral Gazef Stronoff. Though from the researchers observations they believed Gazef's condition was improving, becoming more stable and less primitive. To ascertain what treatment to continue, the researchers required more Contaminated Beasts to experiment on. When Nfirea commented his interest in also acquiring Chaos Beasts Suarko noted if the disturbed pharmacist wanted Chaos Beasts to pit them against undead. Surako then observed the protagonist successfully convince Nfirea to take a mandatory leave of absence to recuperate.

Before the protagonist and Soi went on a expedition for Contaminated Beasts, Surako had suggested they acquire flying-type monsters for a change. Meanwhile Surako went to the Adventurer's Guild to post a request to investigate the mysterious "Red Shadow". However before she could finalize it, she was accosted by Evileye which forced her to recall the protagonist and Soi back to the guild. Once everyone was present, in private Evileye berated the members of Darkness for posting out a request for information on the "Red Shadow" as it was akin to putting a bounty. Evileye explained that she was the "Red Shadow" and on an unofficial request for Princess Renner to investigate the sickness among the orphans. Since the request did not go through the guild was in violation of the rules and could lead Evileye into a lot of trouble. To avoid their colleague from getting reprimanded by the guild, the members of Darkness agreed to cancel the request using an excuse that the person of interest was found without revealing the identity of Evileye.

At that moment Pluton Ainzach came to see what was the commotion, which both Darkness and Evileye acted as if they were comparing notes on the line of dolls of the "Dark Warrior." Hearing this Ainzach then showcased the guild's newest products which included necklaces and a doll based on Soi. Later Darkness returned to the institute to deliver the procured specimens, though the protagonist was sadden that Nfirea did not comply to rest while he was home. Surako witness her teammate and Fluder perform an intervention to explain the importance of moderating Nfirea's obsession, citing it would not just be detrimental to the institute but to his friends and family. On the last note the words rang true to Nfirea. To the surprise of Surako and her friends, the next day Nfirea took action and made a request to the Adventurer's Guild to provide him escorts to help him locate the Fruit of Longevity to cure the illness affecting the children. Seeing this was the action to improve the children's welfare, the protagonist volunteered his team to the request as did Evileye.

The adventurers and pharmacist then headed to the forest. Along the way Surako tried to ask Nfirea if he wanted to visit Carne Village, though the boy declined as he wanted to focus on the quest. There at the forest they met with Hamsuke who acted as their guide to the tree where the fruit could be located. Unaware to Evileye and Nfirea, Nazarick sent out monsters and Chaos Beasts to attack their party in order to create the illusion that the Great Forest of Tob was still a dangerous place to send humans to. However none of the summons were enough to dissuade the pharmacist who slayed the summoned Chaos Beasts without mercy to the shock of Surako.

Once the giant slime guarding the fruit was killed, Surako question on whether it was wise to use such a rare item to cure the children as the temple would be open arms for recovery items to be distributed so freely without a proper fee. However the protagonist has a plan for that. Returning to Nazarick as Slimeko the slime joined the Christmas party on the 6th Floor where the other NPCs commemorated her team's work.[51]

While at a management meeting with Momonga, Albedo, Demiurge and the protagonist, Slimeko was happy to hear that E-Rantel was well underway in being self-sufficient. However an issue on the upcoming "New Year" brought some concern from Momonga. To Slimeko the event was harmless and even fun despite the mental control over the Floor Guardians. Since the event brought some kind of mental effect over those in Nazarick, Momonga believed it was prudent to conduct "general cleaning" for all floors of Nazarick. To help Slimeko and the protagonist better learn about the history of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, Momonga invited the two to escort him while he toured the floors, planting Death Knights. Slimeko and the protagonist accepted the offer and after they did a sweep of Ashurbanipal they joined Momonga on the 3rd Floor. From there to the 5th Floor and then the 7th Floor, the protagonist learned new tidbits about each floor and their significance to the Supreme Beings.

By the time the party reached the 9th Floor they encountered Foire and Cixous eating mochi which was initially mistaken to be a sign that the "New Year" epidemic was upon them. That turned not to be the case as the maids were just eating some treats prepared by the cook at the orders of Albedo who was researching everything on New Year. In consideration of how much fun everyone enjoyed the New Year holiday, Momonga decided that rather than reject it they should instead pursue a celebration. This eventually led to the creation of the Kakushigei Tournament, which Slimeko and the protagonist acted as the moderators and commentators for the event. The tournament ended in a tie between two teams and in an unexpected turn of events initiated a ritual that caused everyone in the Amphitheater to be brought to the Bishamonten Shrine.

Slimeko joined the party to hopefully end the event brought by what appeared to be a new incarnation of Shiramochi-ō. The new White Mochi King proved too strong even for Momonga's Floor Guardians. Slimeko became endangered of being attack by the entity when she got too close to the battlefield. But with the timely intervention of a returned Shiro, she was saved and witnessed Shiro lend his aid to his friends to defeat his alternate self. Once they were returned to Fake Nazarick, the whole of Nazarick welcomed Shiro as a guest and recognized ally and celebrated New Year's with him.[52]

Slimeko operating under her human alias "Surako", with Solution and the protagonist greeted Mare who arrived at E-Rantel, bringing demi-human immigrants from the Abelion Hills. The agents accepted the new source of labor and directed the demi-humans to the training center where their talents would be evaluated and assigned to either the labor or the militia. Due to Slimeko and Solution's association with the protagonist, most of Nazarick were under the impression the two were experts in diplomacy, though the two were in truth more socially savvy at diplomatic situations thanks to their observations of the homunculus agent. Knowing about the upcoming National Foundation Day Ceremony, Slimeko and Solution were allocated some time off to prep themselves. On the date of the National Foundation Day Ceremony at Fake Nazarick, Slimeko with the protagonist were present as the ceremony and later at the banquet portion, caught up with Zaryusu Shasha and his party. The slime would later witness the unveiling of the Sorcerer King Momonga Statue which left her in awe.[53]

While in E-Rantel to check out the Adventurer's Guild, the slime and protagonist were approached by Ian and Nigun who expressed their concerns over the "Dark Warrior" dolls that were given at the guild. In their observations the priests saw that the dolls were the focus of a hero fetish but was slowly turning into religious worship. Their concern was warranted and the two adventurers promised to speak with the guildmaster on the issue. At the guild the members of Darkness saw that the dolls and chocolates from Nazarick were encouraging people to post jobs at the guild, giving more opportunities to the adventurers.

Ainzach seeing the success wanted to launch a new product of souvenirs but after being told of the issue raised by the Sunlight Scripture, the three agreed some changes needed to be made. Before committing to any changes, Slimeko went back to Nazarick with the protagonist to inform Momonga and his advisors. In order to see how humans would react to the new changes of a line of products, LittleMass was called back into service to test out a series of experiments with the Homunculus Maids.

The idea of introducing a new character was brought up on whether it would diminish or enhance a franchise was brought up, leading to Albedo being selected as the new idol as "Neutrally". To commemorate the addition, LittleMass was reorganized as LittleMasStar. From the idol campaigns the protagonist was able to deduce a new type of dolls with quotes tags would stimulate interest, as well as instituting a lottery system to keep appeal. After the experiment was deemed a success, the tactics learned were applied with the Adventurer's Guild's dolls which then began creating a new doll line based on characters of Blue Roses. The first doll made was of Gagaran which was personally created by Tsuibayaya.[54]

While walking through the corridors of the 9th Floor with the protagonist and a general maid, she and her associates were hit by an ability from a re-summoned guest to Nazarick. She and her peers found themselves transformed into copies of the said guest, causing a headache to Shalltear and Albedo in identifying who was who. Later she joined the pursuit team to track down the fleeing guest who was suffering from an extreme mental change. The trail went to E-Rantel, where Slimeko assumed her Surako identity with the other members of Darkness and the female companions of their escapee. Finding the fugitive lasciviously flirting with Saint Clementine and Gagaran, Slimeko made an excuse that the youth was suffering from inebriation in order to explain his behavior.

Once they were at a secure location, her associates managed to negotiate for the fugitive’s cooperation in returning with them. Said conditions required dates with members of the Pleiades which was granted. The dates took place in the Tob Forests and were monitored by members of Nazarick and the youth’s female companions. Eventually the situation was resolved after the youth regain his original personality after expelling all his excess energy that was causing him to go out of control. Shortly afterwards the guest and his friends were pulled back to their original world. [55]

More recently while assisting the protagonist in completing his duties as Territory Guardian of E-Rantel, the two began to see an uptick in illegal gambling in the city. Due to their lack of understanding on human's motivations for gambling, they were at a loss of how to address the issue. Bringing the issue to Momonga and Demiurge, led to the pair in creating Casino Resort Nazarick in order to experiment the behavior of gamblers. For the experiment Slimeko and the protagonist acted as floor monitors, assisting the dealers, Narberal and Solution. Once the experiment was over, Nazarick determined that installing a casino in E-Rantel could yield tremendous benefits in their plans to control human society.[56]

A problem with the manufacture of the "Dark Warrior" doll line emerged in E-Rantel, as the materials in the production originating from human society were of poor quality. After being alerted by the Adventurer's Guild on the complication, Slimeko and the protagonist reported it to Momonga, Demiurge and Albedo. Rather than expend Nazarick's supply of high quality fabric, the idea to develop a new fabric line using local fiber plants was put into action. The slime and homunculus needing some information went to Nfirea at the E-Rantel Magic Research Institute for insight on any suitable plants for weaving. In exchange for the information, they agreed to acquire a strong slime for the the institute's experiments.

The endeavor was overseen by Albedo who wanted to examine the fiber plant collection herself, along with Aura who accompanied them as an escort. The trip took them to the Great Lake where they acquired a method of producing canvas fabric and then to the Great Forest of Tob where they met up with the Nazarick agents stationed there. Together with their aid, they collected several plant specimens for study and use. Once a Super Giant Sanitary Slime was caught and bagged, Slimeko and the protagonist returned to the Adventurer's Guild to inform the guildmaster of a possible solution to the fabric quality.[57]

After a [Gate] to the isolated island was re-established by Shalltear through an experiment, Slimeko and the protagonist were assigned the task by Momonga to escort Aura and Mare to the Great Lake to receive aquatic combat training from the lizardmen. On the way the group visited Hamsuke, Kyuko and the Death Knight stationed at the Tob Forest. Once they group helped clear the Chaos Beasts in the area, the headed to the wetlands where they were received by the Lizardmen Alliance. After explaining the situation, Zaryusu and the chieftains agreed to help the dark elves familiarize themselves in waterside battle. Once training was finished, the protagonist received a formal request from Zaryusu to join their expedition to the island. The request was brought to Momonga by the homunculus and slime, which was approved.[58]

Once Zaryusu was brought to Nazarick, Slimeko and the protagonist were given their own swimsuits for the mission, after the traveler raised a question on why only Aura and Mare were equipped with them to Momonga. At the island Slimeko and the members of the previous survey team confirmed that the island was the same that they visited. The slime helped explore the island and found very little had changed since her companions visited. Though when the investigated the pirate ship wreck, the slime accidentally disturbed it causing it ton collapse, awaken several undead crewmen on the lower decks. Once the undead were defeated, Slimeko and her companions were greeted by Momonga at the beach who thanked them for their efforts. Later she was present at the meeting where the protagonist debriefed the details of the search and his theories of where the island was.[59]

In a rare visit form Shalltear to the library, Slimeko and the protagonist assisted the vampire by providing documents concerning the concept, "campus's love comedy." During the incident that saw the Great Tomb of Nazarick transform into Nazarick Academy, Slimeko was mentally controlled and made to believe that she was a student at the academic institution.[60] At the school, the Slimeko witnessed the new transfer student Shalltear join the class and also earn the enmity of rest of the students when she disrespected Momonga. She was also in Momonga's "information Warfare" class and found the topic fascinating. After the incident, she was finally released from the mental effect and was recovering.[61]

On a visit to the Adventurer's Guild with the protagonist, Slimeko expected that Ainzach would talk to them about expanding the guild's merchandise line, but instead found a stern rebuke of rejection of the future plans. Once Ainzach calmed down she and her partner learned that the guildmaster was facing heavy slander from the other guilds, accusing him of turning his organization into a greedy monster. In order to correct this image of the guild and to regain Ainzach's trust, the adventurers agreed to help Ainzach make a relic display case containing articles from fallen adventurers. The items that Ainzach wished for them to retrieve were the mithril plates from Kralgra. Though the chances of locating them were slim, they took the job anyway to appease the human. Slimeko then contacted Regi and Shizuni to ask Iguva if he still had the mithril plate, but sadly he did not.

The adventurers then went to Momonga and Albedo to inform him of the issue. Momonga then introduced the pair to Nigredo who after giving them a frightening encounter, used her magic to locate the mithril plates in the Katze Plains, though one of them was on a Skeletal Dragon. Slimeko and the protagonist returned to the guild with Soi to inform the guildmaster they knew of the whereabouts of the relics. During the discussion they defined the terms of recovering of mementoes of fallen adventurers to be considered charity work and that such expenses would be covered by the guild and Sorcerer Kingdom, the latter being offered a portion of the guild's chocolate sales for the joint venture. Later through their undercover agents, Slimeko watched as her team manipulate New Six Arms in aiding her team in taking down the undead dragon. Not only did her team gain the trust of the guild, but also a financial resources through the chocolate sales and also half the undead dragon's hoard that was claimed by the workers.[62]

During the incident which saw a new visitor come through the Crack via Demiurge's experiments, Slimeko and the protagonist met with the visitor, being escorted by Aura and Mare, just outside E-Rantel. They helped collect information of anyone with the name "Elizabeth" but sadly the two could not find anyone who passed through the city with the name. Later it was reported by agents that the woman that the visitor was seeking was seen in the village of the lizardmen. The team then rushed to the location, but were stopped due to being hindered by a horde of Chaos Beasts that had overrun the Tob Forest. Later the horde and its mastermind turned out to be a manifestation from the Sea of Possibilities born out of the subconscious fears of their visitor. Slimeko assisted in defeating the entity and returned to Nazarick.[63]

At a meeting with the city leaders in E-Rantel, Slimeko witnessed the humans noimate the protagonist to be the organizer for the upcoming Harvest Festival. Later she attended an audience with Momonga and their peers where the protagonist proposed a Halloween theme festival through a misguided interpretation of Momonga's ulterior motive to use the event to lessen suspicion towards the Sorcerer Kingdom. Once the plan was approved by the council in E-Rantel, Slimeko accompanied Darkness to the Tob Forest to acquire a Longevity Nut to use it as a prize for the mock battle demonstration. There they found Aura had already retrieved it for them. The team returned to E-Rantel with their prize and at the festival, Slimeko wore a swimsuit which attracted the attention of Tsuibayaya who publicly confirmed it was a relic of the Boastful Sage, deceiving everyone in the festival that the historical figure was associated in the origins of the Sorcerer Kingdom. After the success of the festival, the slime returned to Nazraick where they delivered their report and enjoy a small private Halloween Festival with their friends.[64]

As a part of the "Daily Household Magic Item Improvement Plan", the slime went with the protagonist to secure Tsuibayaya's cooperation in crafting the various magic items that were proposed by the denizens of Nazarick, disguised as an ancient manuscript of the Boastful Sage. Later after the items were crafted in two days time, Slimeko and her partner acted as facilitators for the "Sorcerer Kingdom Daily Household Magic Item Fair".[65]

A recall order was given by Momonga, prompting Slimeko and her team of Darkness to return to Nazarick. At the Amphitheater she and the others who were stationed out in the field gathered. After they were all present, she contacted Momonga who arrived and informed them that New Year's was upon them and that they were among those unaffected by the New Year's spell. Slimeko joined Momonga's subjugation team to assist Shiro in claiming the Seven Lucky God Key Items and bore witness to the defeat of the returned White Mochi King. Afterwards she joined the celebrations of New Year and cheered at the return of LittleMasStar doing a live performance with Narberal and Lupusregina.[66]

While in E-Rantel, the Slimeko with the protagonist noticed the drop in sales of chocolates at the guild. He brought this to the attention of Momonga and the Floor Guardians who agreed that this needed to be addressed. To correct this, Slimeko and the protagonist were sent to collect suggestions and opinions from the various people in E-Rantel on ways to improve the candy. The survey data was given to the team responsible for improving the product, leading to the creation of Golden Chocolate In A Bottle. Later when it was introduce to the guild where it became a hit with the customers.[67]

At a briefing with Momonga, Demiurge and Albedo, the slime gave assurance to Demiurge that the humans in E-Rantel were close to recovering from the mental trauma he inflicted on them so that there was no need to worry about reduced productivity. Later when she and her team returned to E-Rantel, they were notified of a potential threat to the city by remnants of Zurrernorn.

To search for their whereabouts and prevent a disaster, her team volunteered to investigate E-Rantel's Cemetery. Though their investigation was a cover to check up on the status of the E-Rantel Magic Research Institute as the undercover adventurers were worried that the cultist could have attacked their precious facility. To their relief they found that Nfirea and Sophie at the institute fine and well. Since they were there Sophie introduced the adventurers to her latest pet project an agent that suppressed the predatory instincts of slimes, which interest Slimeko as she wondered if she could use it to go on a diet. Later she saw the protagonist put two and two together and realize that Zurrernorn's plans were related to mutating the slimes in the sewers.

Afterwards she witnessed her team coordinate with Blue Roses, the Sunlight Scripture and the Adventurer's Guild in eradicating a mutant Super Giant Sanitary Slime made by the cultists. To combat it, Soi and members of Blue Roses as well as Clementine were given Sophie's agent and recommended to wear swimsuits to hunt the monster in the sewers. Slimeko, Gagaran and the protagonist remained topside on the surface to coordinate the containment efforts. Whilst their teammates fought and lured the slime, she spoke with er fellow adventurers on how the cultists could have thought of such a plan, and hypothesized that group were inspired from an accident of alchemical solution spillover that affected the slimes to mutate. When the slime was defeated and the women returned from he sewers and provided a cover story for the military presence, Slimeko suggested that she and the protagonist join in the parade hosted by the citizens.[68]

During a meeting with Ainzach, the slime and homunculus learned of the continued success of the chocolate product. Though also heard some complaints that customers wanted something new to try. A few days later after the protagonist reported this to the Sorcerer Kingdom, Darkness received a visit by Narberal informing them that Cocytus would be leading the development of a "chilled chocolate" dish. This came as a surprise to Slimeko, for Cocytus being in charge, given his lack of human taste and assumed that Narberal was brought onboard to be the actual chocolate taster.

Since Narberal came to the city to gather information from various chocolate eaters, the team then split the work, with Slimeko accompanying the protagonist to interview the Sunlight Scripture, while the others went to meet the Swords of Darkness and the guildmaster. After the intel gathering was done, Soi met with the others to discuss their findings. Slimeko commented that everyone had high expectations for the new chocolate item, and the slime recommended that maybe they should create a chocolate drink, though noted that there was problems as a drink was usually warm and not chilled. After the release of the Chilled Chocolate Confectionary, Slimeko proudly watched the watched at the Adventurer's Guild enjoy the confection, commenting on the difficulty of transporting the product was for her nation.[69]

Slimeko would join the protagonist's round to check on the status at the E-Rantel Magic Research Institute there she and her comrades were shocked that the researchers may have found a method to cure the contamination. Afterwards Slimeko and her friends met with the royals of the Kingdom, where the protagonist informs the king that he will be away to open trade relations with the Dwarf Kingdom. Once they left, Slimeko and the homunculus parted ways with Soi who was assigned to stay and guard the institute. Slimeko would be part of the expedition that would travel to the Dwarf Kingdom. Before going she and the party members attended some checks on Hamsuke and Fake Nazarick and also picking up Zenberu as a guide. Though the lizardman was able to guide them to the general area they were unable to locate the cave to the underground city.

The slime was able to find it by accident after falling into the snow, uncovering the cave. The city though was abandoned and Slimeko was able to sense blood in the nearby mines, leading the expedition to finding Giant Lizards and also a dwarf named Bigosa. The dwarf was convinced to guide to the other dwarven city of Feo Jera but the group were shocked to find that they were too late as the Giant Lizards had already destroyed the city and the dwarves had fled. Through the rubble, Slimeko was able to find a survivor who told the party that the dwarves had fled to Feo Berkana to seek the protection of the Frost Dragons. The group got there just as the Giant Lizards were attacking the city. Slimeko and the others hurried to interrupt a meeting between the Regency Council and the ruling dragon. After the dragon was defeated by Cocytus and convinced to join in an alliance with the dwarves and the Sorcerer Kingdom, Slimeko and the protagonist were escorted back to E-Rantel by Yuri and CZ. However when they returned to the outskirts of the city she and her partner found that two armies of the Re-Estize Kingdom were facing each other.[70]

From the vantage point with her companions, they saw King Rampossa III and Crown Prince Barbro vanished followed by several soldiers. Though it seemed like nothing was there, the protagonist believed that an invisible enemy was attacking the military forces. Worried about what was happening and also concerned on the vital research at the E-Rantel Magic Research Institute, the protagonist directed his team to E-Rantel where he was horrified to find that the city he worked so hard to restore was in chaos being brought to ruin by an invasion of Chaos Beasts. To add more bad news, Slimeko found something was blocking all magical communications. Seeing the influx of monsters, the protagonist determined that Cracks had somehow formed in the city, worse an invisible foe was wracking havoc and making people vanish. The protagonist managed to briefly see the foe's form and recognized it as the same as the monster found in the Northern Cave though with invisibility. Her teammates though were unable to see anything, so rather than fight they were forced to flee. The group managed to meet up with Jugem and his goblins before continuing unto the institute.

They were horrified to find that the laboratories were destroyed and all the researchers and knights there were killed. Thankfully they found Soi, Fluder and Nfirea still alive, though were being menaced by a Spear Chaos Beast. Even with Yuri and CZ help they found themselves outmatched by the Chaos Beasts which seemed to possess the ability to teleport. Out of desperation, Nfirea freed Gazef Stronoff from his cell, revealing that Sophie had cured him before she was killed. Not only that the Warrior Captain had displayed superhuman abilities that he did not possess prior to being contaminated. The protagonist watched as the Warrior Captain matched physically with the Chaos Beast, and when Brain and Climb arrived with Razor Edge. Just as it seemed that the situation would be resolved, the Spear Chaos Beast backed away, an odd behavior as Chaos Beasts never retreat. Realizing something was happening, the protagonist warned everyone to get away from the open area, when a Crack formed. Whatever came out, attacked and caused Fluder to vanish. The Crack continued to expand whilst the protagonist was observing it. Seeing that he was in danger, Slimeko tried to push him away when something attacked them.[71]

After the attack, Slimeko, the entire team of Darkness and half of the Pleiades were among those missing. However due to the control console in the Throne Room indicated that the NPCs were still alive, those in Nazarick had hopes that the missing could be found. To hide the fact that Darkness was gone, Momonga ordered Pandora's Actor and the Greater Doppelgängers to assume their appearances and roles in E-Rantel. The doppelgänger successfully played Slimeko's role of Surako in E-Rantel and public attended events such as the Greetings and Victory Festival and wore a kimono for the occasion.[72]

For months her doppelgänger acted as Slimeko, until the protagonist resurfaced, having returned from the "other side" of the Crack, revealing those who were missing after the attack on E-Rantel were taken there. A month later a rescue mission was launched, headed by the protagonist and supported by the remaining Pleiades. Slimeko was the second one to be found and resuscitated using a healing potion and new adaptive equipment that allowed her to function normally. The rescue by the protagonist and Pleiades came to her as a surprise, given she was supposed to be nothing more than a shield to the homunculus and thus deemed herself to be a low priority, but was appreciative to their care.

Her team, minus the Pleiades, encountered Gazef Stronoff who managed to retrieve the bodies of King Ramposa III and Brain. Once they saw him off in leaving the "other side", the group then had an unexpected encounter with Enhela. During their conversation, Slimeko was shocked when the priest began spewing kinship with the protagonist, citing that his ability to be able to breath the same environment without any ill effect on the "other side" was proof. Hearing him say this caused Slimeko to be confused, wondering if Enhela was creation of the Supreme Beings. From him she learned that he was inferring to the god that both he and his supposed "brother" answered to: the Devourer of the Nine Worlds.[73]

This only bewildered Slimeko, as it contradicted the protagonist's history as a creation of the Supreme Being that existed in Ashurbanipal. She and Soi told off the priest to leave. When situation was about to turn into a kidnapping by Enhela, Narberal and Lupusregina launched magic attacks from their hiding spot. Slimeko then witness the protagonist bluff their way out of a fight, by claiming the allies were part of the anti-Chaos Beast unit, forcing the priest to retreat by summoning a Crack to teleport out. Initially Slimeko was in disbelief that Enhela could use such power, thinking it was just an illusion, but was sadly informed by the Pleiades maids that Enhela did indeed escape.

Due to the conversation between the members of Darkness and Enhela was overheard by CZ, the Pleiades demanded an explanation as it almost made it seem that the protagonist was an imposter. It was then Slimeko was astonished that her partner confessed that Enhela's revelations were true, that both of them were actually creations of the Sea of Possibilities that were inserted into the Theocracy and Nazarick, for some purpose and that memory alteration was used on those around them in order to blend it. However such knowledge was unknown to the protagonist at the beginning and that he was only made aware of his origins when he entered the "other side".

Upon leaving the Chaos Zone, Slimeko traveled with the Pleiades to Nazarick, leaving the protagonist behind in E-Rantel. There in the Round Table Room, the slime bore witness to the Floor Guardians and Momonga deciding the fate of her comrade. Given the danger he potentially posed, the Guardians and Momonga agreed that the homunculus could not stay in Nazarick but remain in E-Rantel as Territory Guardian. And knowing that Enhela would likely make another attempt to spirit away the protagonist and his formidable power, Sebas Tian was assigned to guard the protagonist to protect him, until a plan could be made to use the protagonist as bait and capture Enhela for further information.

Slimeko then resumed her post alongside the protagonist, assisting him in his duties. The duo met with Ninya, the lone survivor of her team from the invisible attack on E-Rantel. Upon hearing that the girl was planning on maybe leaving as an adventurer since all her friends were gone. On the upside they learned that Ninya reunited with her older sister and was taking care of Nemu. Even so the two pitied the girl, due to being aware that the members of the Swords of Darkness were still very much alive on the "other side".

The slime and homunculus then met up with Gazef Stronoff who had questions for the protagonist as to how despite seeing them get trapped in the "other side" with him, were still found to be operating in E-Rantel during their confinement in the Chaos Zone. Slimeko knowing that doppelgängers from Nazarick assumed their forms to maintain that Darkness was undefeated. She was worried that they would be found out in their deception, but was impressed when the protagonist used the time axis on "other side" was influx as an excuse. That Darkness traveled back into the back when they attempted to escape the area. Gazef aware that time passed much slower than the New World's accepted the explanation.

Later at the Quadripartite Alliance talks, Slimeko acted as a representative of the Sorcerer Kingdom along with the protagonist. There she and her partner came face to face with Enhela who maintained a cordial appearance, with both sides keeping mute of their previous hostile interaction on the "other side" to themselves. There details of Gazef's being cured of the miasma was brought to light as well as the Sorcerer Kingdom's involvement. Most importantly was the item brought by Gazef of organizing the Four Kingdoms Rescue Team to liberate people trapped on the "other side". The proposal was accepted with the other nations promising to contribute.

After the meeting the two were met by Leinas who wanted them to pass her gratitude to the Supreme One, as the revival magic of the Sorcerer Kingdom allowed her to finally lift her curse on her face. In return the Imperial Knight offered her services to repay the debt, which the protagonist promised to pass the word. At Darkness's hotel suite, Slimeko and the protagonist met with Soi and Sebas to inform them of the developments at the meeting. They expressed to their comrades their surprise as to Enhela declining to lead the Theocracy forces into the Crack, as it was expected that the Deputy Pontifex Maximus would try to attempt to grab the protagonist on the "other side". However Sebas would ensure that it would not happen as he would be accompanying them as a volunteer in the rescue team.

Whilst the rescue operation was being prepared, Slimeko acted as the protagonist's assistant in hosting the festival to celebrate E-Rantel's reconstruction. The two were briefly called into a meeting regarding the rescue of Princess Renner, a Nazarick ally, at the request from Prince Zanac. Her and the protagonist's involvement were not necessary as the princess's plan to fake her death and kill off the remaining Kingdom's elites went on with a hitch. Slimeko though became increasingly worried for the protagonist and his mental health as he kept pushing himself for greater efficiency in his duties.[74]

Due to the protagonist still being technically exiled from Nazarick and busy managing the affairs of E-Rantel, Slimeko visited Nazarick in his stead and was updated on the latest version of the Idol Plan, the Bard Plan devised by Lupusregina and CZ to create the Sorcerer Kingdom's own brand of bards. The slime watched the development of the rock band Βγδth, attending their venue and kept the protagonist up to date on the development. After it was deemed as success, Momonga was ready to lay out the next steps of the plan. Slimeko reported that she had been in correspondence with her partner and that he already contracted Tsuibayaya to recreate the musical instruments the rock band used in preparation.

She passed along the concerns of culture clash with the natives of E-Rantel due to the unfamiliarity of rock. However the members of Βγδth had thought of a plan to slowly introduce the items into the Baharuth Empire and appeal the bard there to use them. Meanwhile, she, Narberal and the protagonist visited the dwarf craftsman for the prototypes after which they rewarded him with a new variant swimsuit. In the aftermath of the trade, Slimeko found the protagonist experimentally playing with an electric guitar, pouring his soul into his makeshift music.[75]

Slimeko was with the protagonist in his hotel suite where they discussed how the confectionary business they started with the Adventurer's Guild has taken root in the reginal industry and bringing in profits to the Sorcerer Kingdom. Slimeko added that the experiment of "Rare Item Acquisition Day" with the Casino Resort Nazarick will also have an impact in the future which the protagonist agrees with and predicts that soon their master's plan in the puppetization of the Three Kingdoms will soon be at hand. The idea of the plan coming to fruition excites the slime.

Slimeko then queried on what happened after the casino event in Nazarick, which the protagonist then tells her about how Foire and Cixious used their winnings to exchange prizes with each other despite their fierce competition during the event. Slimeko commented how that is true friendship, and notices that her partner has a genuine smile on his face, as opposed to the usually deep brooding frown and encourages him to work with one more often for the Sorcerer Kingdom.[76]

Slimeko, while serving as protagonist's assistant during negotiations with the Pharmacist's Guild and Temple of the Four Great Gods in order to find a cost effective way to treat the mental health issues of the citizens of E-Rantel, accompanied her partner to visit Tsuibayaya to pick up an order of weapons. There she listened to the dwarf's musing of his homeland's bathhouses, which gave the protagonist inspiration of "hot spring therapy" as as possible solution to his current dilemma.

Later she joined protagonist on the expedition to the Dwarf Kingdom to investigate the properties of the dwarven bathhouses, along with Soi, Regi, Sebas and Zenberu. Upon reaching the city of Feo Jera, the slime was impressed that the city was bustling with life as compared to before when it was in a state of disrepair. She and her friends reunited with Bigosa who aided in their investigation. When their investigation was taking them to Feo Berkana, Bigosa brought a tunnel doctor with them, and the slime was able to learn more about the job class that their specialties. Though they found the bathhouse destroyed no thanks to the Frost Dragon which earned it some discipline from Sebas. Slimeko watching the one-sided battle commented it was just like the time with Cocytus.

After they learned that the damage was an accident, Slimeko and her friends then returned to Feo Jera to report the incident to the Regency Council. The disappointment on the faces of the dwarves made Slimeko feel sympathetic, as did most of her team. It resulted in the Sorcerer Kingdom sponsoring renovations to the bathhouse. Once they bathhouse was completed, Slimeko enjoyed a dip in the baths though was warned by Soi to not stay in too longer otherwise she would wash away.[77]

At the request of Momonga, Slimeko returned to Nazarick, in order to assist Renner in seeing to that the ice room that the lizardmen from the isolated island would come to fruition. Slimeko was to take Renner to the 5th Floor to speak with Cocytus on how to proceed with the ice room. Before the pair left to the 5th Floor, both were given Christmas Costumes to withstand the coldness of the floor. Once at the Snowball Earth, Slimeko introduce Renner to one of the Frost Virgins, who then fetched Cocytus.

Cocytus having heard about the ice room idea from Momonga, was eager to help and even had his own idea to include a new feature in the ice room. It turned out to be a beautifully carved ice statue of Momonga. While adoring, Slimeko asked why it was a statue of Momonga, since the Overlord had said there would be no more replicas of him. Though after an argument from Renner on the statue's potential benefits, being used as idol worship by the lizardmen, Slimeko agreed with the proposal to attempt to change Momonga's mind.

After the proposal was approve, Slimeko returned to the hotel suite in E-Rantel to give the protagonist updates on the situation. While the protagonist felt left out, due to his exile, the slime assured him that Momonga was well aware of all the hard work the homunculus provided and that his role was just as vital. Sliemo later passed information that she would be going to the Great Lake to inform in the lizardmen of the news about the ice room and ice statue approval, and then heading to the Azerlisia Mountains to collect some materials before going to the island to install the ice room and statue.

After the lizardmen reacted positively to the news, Slimeko and her team then headed to the mountains, were they killed several vultures to be taken back to Nazarick. Upon returning to Nazarick, Slimeko headed to the 2nd Floor to go to the isolated island, where she witnessed Cocytus create the ice room and statue. Not only that she saw Cocytus, Renner and Climb fighting off a nest of slimes that were in the cave which was being used to house the ice room.

Later at the Christmas party hosted on the 6th Floor, Slimeko wasted no time in spreading Renner's contribution to the banquet, earning the former human recognition from the other Floor Guardians. While brimming with glee on her work, Momonga noted that she had been busy, and asked her to take some souvenirs with her to bring to the protagonist, and that he would be relying on her to monitor him.[78]

She was contacted by Albedo, via Entoma, informing the her that Momonga would be traveling with Shiro to the Azerlisia Mountains for a New Year's event to see the "first sunrise" as part of the tasks to strengthen Shiro against the White Mochi King. While contemplating in his hotel suite with the protagonist she wondered how the expedition was going.

After the New Year celebrations were over, the protagonist at the E-Rantel Adventurer's Guild, received a letter from the Sorcerer Kingdom. It was actually a New Year's card, with the words "Welcoming Spring" which he showed to Slimeko. At Slimeko's suggestion they agreed to reply to the card with their own greetings.[79]

The undercover slime would help the protagonist and Ainzach organize the security for E-Rantel. This was for a pep rally in prelude to the rescue operation using the new Chaos Adaptive Equipment provided by the Sorcerer Kingdom. She noted that the guildmaster was concern about the upcoming ceremony and recognized that the human had high expectations for the results of the event.

When the list of attendees came from the Theocracy, Slimeko immediately recognized one to be Antilene, the girl Shalltear befriended in her adventurer guise. The forces of Nazarick wanted to capitalize on the opportunity to collect information on Antilene, a half-elf yet seemingly having a high position in the human supremacist Theocracy. Thus it was arranged to not only introduce her to the dark elf twins Aura and Mare, but for Slimeko and the protagonist to have Antilene reunite with Shall in E-Rantel during the venue of the pep rally.

She along with the protagonist tagged along the group and gave Antilene a tour of the city. Slimeko chatted with Antilene in small talk, promising to keep her secrets. During the tour the group spotted Nigun patrolling the city with his men, surprising Antilene on how respected the priest was in the city. Slimeko also added that the man was a big fan of chocolate. When a crowd of resident spotted the dark elf twins and surrounded them with praise, Slimeko and the protagonist attracted their attention to give the others time to slip away whilst they answered the crowd's questions about the rescue mission to save everyone's loved ones.[80]

At the date of the rescue operation, Slimeko and her team overheard Gagaran claiming Evileye wanting to search for Climb from the "other side", causing Slimeko to be anxious as Climb was not there, since he was killed and his corpse taken by Nazarick's forces. She feared that his body missing from the "other side" would raise suspicion, but Soi assured her that would not happen as she took precaution, by taking several random people on the "other side" before hand to make Climb's sole vanishing to be camouflaged.

In the midst of the operation, the relative success of finding a hundred people to rescue went smoothly. This was not Slimeko expected as she thought that Enhela had something planned. She spoke those words too soon when a newly rescued Lukrut alerted everyone that a horde of giant-sized Chaos Beasts were headed right at the rescue team. Slimeko believed that Enhela was the culprit, but after everyone escaped from the "other side" with no deaths, Slimeko believed perhaps that she was wrong. That was until Momonga contacted the protagonist with some horrifying news in the nations of the Kingdom and Empire.[81]

Slimeko was among those in her team who were privy to when the protagonist spoke directly to the leadership of the Sorcerer Kingdom, who debated on whether they should expend any resources to save E-Rantel from another crisis. When it was decided that they would maintain their covers and be "heroes" and save E-Rantel to ascertain the perpetrator of the event, Enhela, Slimeko witnessed the protagonist inform the rescue team of the status of the Three Kingdoms.

The rescue team then rushed back to E-Rantel after receiving word from the Sorcerer Kingdom that enormous amounts of miasma were spilling in from Cracks in every major city in the Quadripartite Alliance. Since their unit was the only military force in the area, the joint international force hurried to the alliance's capital to save what they could.

When the group arrived at the ruined city and made plans to save any survivors from the shelters, Slimeko added that the Sorcerer Kingdom's undead would support the rescuers. Later after Sophie, Nfirea and Fluder arrived to the city with a cure for the contamination, and with current plans to retrieve the corpses littering the city, Slimeko commented that many would probably be unfit to revive due to the state of damage.

Later she worked with the researchers in inoculating those who were affected by the miasma and restrained by the rescuers in the city square. Only her team was assigned to guard the researchers whilst the other factions went out to search for supplies. The slime noted that researchers were taking the use of corpses in their work to cure the victims in eagerness, causing her to wonder if the three were even human. Given that the three humans were already tied to the Sorcerer Kingdom's technological development, Slimeko was very much comfortable in speaking openly about her nation's plans with her peers with them present.

Their work was interrupted when Enhela revealed himself from the shadows and approached them. Already on guard against the priest, Slimeko was shocked with the others when Sebas was easily defeated by the human. After hearing that the priest was present to convince the protagonist to join him and accept himself as a creation of the Devourer of the Nine Worlds, hinting that his own loneliness and exceptional power as proof. Slimeko argued that his evidence proved nothing, maintaining her support that the protagonist is a member of the Sorcerer Kingdom. Though her angry words in stating this in told Enhela that the protagonist standing in his kingdom was precarious.

When Enhela explained that his work in activating all the Cracks to release miasma were all his work, the slime questioned the priest on why he was doing such a thing as it ran contrary to his claims of trying to strengthen humanity. That was until she realized that the priest was using the contamination to weed out the strong from the weak in a pre-planned scheme to evolve humanity into stronger creatures. After the priest was rejected by the protagonist for a second time, Slimeko was hyped at her partner's choice, stating that his answer would never change for the human.

In a final bid, Enhela used his "Divine Right" to call forth a Crack to transport the group from the city square to the Central Mausoleum of Nazarick, where they found that the rest of the denizens of the dungeon had evacuated. Slimeko witnessed Enhela declare that he had usurped control of Nazarick and stated his terms if they wished to be left alone.[82]
