Silent City (沈黙都市) is the name of a dead city located in the Beastman Country.
Background
According to tales told by the neighboring kingdoms, there once was a city located in the Beastman Country. It was destroyed not by war, disease or any other natural disaster, but by three legendary undead monsters that suddenly appeared in the city.
The undead monsters responsible for the destruction of Silent City are known as Soul Eaters. They were able to ravage the entire city and ninety-five percent of the people who lived there. It was estimated that over one hundred thousand people were killed as part of the casualties. After the onslaught came to an end, the city was later left in ruin and abandoned. In the end, the city eventually rose into prominence as the legendary "Silent City."
