Ainz referred her briefly to Nimble Arc Dale Anoch after his Super-Tier Spell was casted and resulted in death of 70,000 members of the Royal Army.[2]

Abilities and Powers

Shub-Niggurath seems to be connected to the Super-Tier Magic Spell, Iä Shub-Niggurath. The spell summons her children, the Dark Young which are level 90 monsters speaks volumes of the goddess's power.

  • Shub-Niggurath is Cthulu Mythos deity associated with fertility created by H. P. Lovecraft, appearing in his story "The Last Test" (1928).
  • The Super-Tier Spell, "Iä! Shub-Niggurath!" is actually a mysterious expression used in H.P. Lovecraft's "Necronomicon".
  • It is unclear if Shub-Niggurath in YGGDRASIL exists as an Non-Playable Character like most deities in the game or is flavor text for Iä! Shub-Niggurath!.
