Shadow (影 (シャドウ) ) is a strange monster that appears in Mass for the Dead.

Background

Shadows are creatures encountered by the protagonist in the game. These monsters are shadowy apparitions that appear when a Crack undergoes and creates a Chaos Zone that spews noxious miasma and Chaos Beasts.

Appearance

Shadows resemble silhouettes of various beings in Overlord.

Abilities

Shadows abilities are diverse and usually depend on the type of being they mimic.

Trivia

• According to Momonga, he likens Shadows to being the equivalents of POP NPCs that appeared in YGGDRASIL.
• So far, Shadows only appear from Cracks outside of the Great Tomb of Nazarick.
• Although ever since the defeat of Enhela Read Gahi, no shadows have been spotted in the vicinity of the Cracks.
