Scented Moisture Fan (匂いと水も出る扇風機) is an item invented by Albedo and Lupusregina Beta in Mass for the Dead.

Description[]

The inspiration for the magic item was taken from the already present fans found in the Central Market of Arwintar. Lupusregina brought one back to Nazarick for study in Nazarick.

One was installed in Spa Resort Nazarick and used by Albedo to cool her body before moving unto the next bath so that each dip in the water would feel new.

She and Lupusregina collaborated into improving the device to make it into an original Sorcerer Kingdom produce to sell, and came put with several features to incorporate.

Later after Tsuibayaya used their suggesuon as a template it was created and presented at "Sorcerer Kingdom's Daily Household Magic Item Fair" where the design was met with approval.

To spread word of the Sorcerer Kingdom's superior magic items, one was leaked to New Six Arms via Lupusregina and CZ in their worker identities.[1]

Appearance[]

It resembles an oscillating fan.

Abilities[]

The fan is designed different than the fans found in the Empire. Unlike the New World version, the Scented Moisture Fan, can oscillate its head sideways.

Additionally it has a feature that adds a canopy that direct the breeze of air at the user.

Inside the fan there is a function that sprays a lit mist of scented water like light rain.

However while the effect feels refreshing, the strength of the blowing air can blow a person back.

Trivia[]

  • Albedo and Lupusregina wanted to create a device that could simulate the forest air for the general maids to enjoy, since going outside was dangerous and with the Crack on the 6th Floor, venturing there to appreciate nature was risky.
  • Tsuibayaya ignorant of the true purpose, believed the cover story that the item was designed to confuse hostile demi-humans and later used to spread incense at festivals.
  • Due to the high wind strength, Demiurge thinks that the item could be adapted for ship propulsion in Nazarick's conquest of the open seas.
