Rugi (ルーギ) was one of the many children of the Elf King Decem Hougan.

Appearance[]

Rugi looked around eight years old, and perhaps was even younger than her age would suggest.

Personality[]

Rugi possessed a glazed expression making her look like a doll. Given the treatment that she suffered at the hands of her father, it's likely that the elf girl was miserable throughout her life. The only time she expressed emotion was when she laid dead with a tranquil expression.

Background[]

Rugi was one of the many progeny of the Elf King, who was sired with elven woman named Myugi.

Chronology[]

The Half Elf God-kin Arc[]

Main article: The Half Elf God-kin Arc

Rugi was taken from her mother by Decem Hougan and was sent out to fight the advancing 40,000 strong army of Slane Theocracy when they were marching through the Great Forest of Evasha to the elven capital near Crescent Lake. It was believed by the Elf King that by placing her on the battlefield, that she’d have the opportunity to become stronger. To help her accomplish this he lent her his equipment that he inherited from his father. Rugi stalled the army using the bow to launch a downpour of projectile attacks on the humans, successfully killing a thousand of the human invaders.

Unknown to her a four manned team of the Holocaust Scripture were sent to assassinate her to allow the Theocracy's forces to continue unto the elven capital. She failed to detect the vice captain Schoen and his team, leaving her skewered by a hundred [Magic Arrows].[1]

Abilities and Powers[]

According to her father's assessment, she was inferior to him, though stronger than her mother.

From her killer's perspective, she had yet to reach the realm of heroes but was estimated to be close to that level. Rugi was either a ranger or archer. A ranged attacker, through some ability Rugi was able to cause her arrows to weave through trees and hit her targets. Her technique also enabled her to spread a single arrow into multiple ones to cover a large attack area. However she required two arrows to effectively kill a target.

Main Equipment[]

  • Gigantic Bow: A bow that's far too large for her and was lent to her by her father.
  • Quiver: A quiver that never runs out of arrows and was lent to her by her father.

Relationships[]

Decem Hougan[]

Due Rugi lacking a fraction of his power, Decem saw his daughter as a failure that was even worse than his other children, based on her emotional state it is very likely she suffered a lot of abuse from him.

Myugi[]

Unlike her father, Rugi’s mother truly loved her child and was concerned for her well-being. After Decem insensitively informed her of Rugi’s death, he then ordered her to get ready to produce him another child to replace her daughter, Myugi chose to commit suicide due to the loss of her daughter and likely not wanting to go through the same tragedy with another child with the king.

Trivia[]

  • Based on The vice captain of the Holocaust Scripture lack of reaction to Rugi's eyes, she appears to lack the same heterochromic eyes as her father.
