The Guard is composed of experienced riders who use flying beasts.[6] They have fantastic mounts like griffins and hippogriffs. For stealth, the riders are equipped with invisibility mantles that render them and their mounts unseen by the naked eye.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • A salute from the Royal Air Guard from a unit would begin with a wide aerial orbit, followed by a slow descent. This was the typical way for how a unit of the Royal Air Guard does it. These troops under the Emperor’s direct command saluted while in flight, which was to say their ceremonial descent was meant to show that emissaries of the Empire had arrived.
