Renrakucho (れんらくちょう) is a book from YGGDRASIL.
Description[]
Originally in the past during the time of the guild Ainz Ooal Gown, it was used as a message board.
When coming into the Great Tomb of Nazarick via the login point in the Round Table Room, guild members were permitted to write new announcements and news in the book to share information.
The book was later transferred into the Treasury, where it was regarded as a super rare book, due to its connection to the Supreme Beings. However it was later misplaced by Pandora's Actor in Ashurbanipal. Titus Annaeus Secundus discovered it among the stacks, and was put in a rare collection section. The existence of the book is a close secret among the library staff as they and the Chief Librarian regard it to be a sacred relic.
To Ainz it is an item of shame, as it is full of non-sensical phrases which he finds embarrassing. When he learned that the staff were in possession of the item, via invisibility, Ainz wanted to steal it back, but due to the library's staff's attachment to the item, Ainz refrained from doing so as he determined it was it good hands.[1]

Abilities[]
Despite its childish appearance, it was a magic item. One did not need to actually write into the pages, but there was a console that appeared over the open pages of the book, that permitted a user to input characters in a uniform manner.
The book is a collection of requests and messages to the guild members, using internet slang which to the NPCs is undecipherable.
This leads in Titus postulating that the words were part of an ancient civilization.
Also in the pages are random notes such as shiritori game played between the writers.

- Beside the library staff, Ainz and Pandora's Actor who know about its existence, Mare Bello Fiore was shown it by Titus and was sworn to secrecy.
- Various internet slang is also found: キボンヌ(hope/want), ワロリンヌ(laughing), and 草 (lol or laughing out loud).
- A shiritori is a Japanese word game in that has players say a word which begins with the final kana of the previous word. In this case the members of Ainz Ooal Gown played their game as follows: ゴリラ(gorilla),ランチ(lunch), チンチラ (chinchilla), ラッコ (sea otter), コアラ(koala), ラ攻めやめろ(stop attacking)ローランドゴリラ(lowland gorilla).
