Background

Re-Bern is the grandfather of the current mayor of Bebard, Mayor Re-Kista Cabelia. Fifty years ago he presided over the time when the quinquennial tournament was in Bebard. In the surrounding area, he was known as the "Eagle of Bebard" and was responsible for the city’s lasting peace.

Berun visited his granddaughter Kista who was busy preparing for the City-State Alliance's tournament. He advised her to take better care of herself and relax. He suggested that she properly delegate her responsibilities to the appropriate subordinates rather than ruin herself. Later their conversation shifted to the actions of various entities like the Equestrian King, Baharuth Empire, and the Sorcerer King. The latter evoked apprehension from the old man and his granddaughter likewise shared his concerns. His task of helping his granddaughter was to seek out the group of adventurers who have recently immigrated into their nation in order to gather information on the Baharuth Empire and its current status regarding its vassalization and gather information on the Sorcerer King and his Kingdom. Before leaving to do his task, he tells his granddaughter to get some sleep early and rest.

Abilities and Powers

Re-Bern was someone who was nearly eighty years of age yet could still assume the role of mayor with no issues at all. However his age has become a factor, as his legs don’t work like they used to. In addition he was a long-reigning mayor of the city, and had quite a lot of connections, far beyond what Kista had.
