Raid on the Re-Estize Magician's Guild was an attack on the Magician's Guild located in the Royal Capital of the Re-Estize Kingdom by one of the Sorcerer Kingdom's 6th Floor Guardians, Aura Bella Fiora, amidst the war between the two nations.

Background[]

The attack on the city of Re-Estize commenced after Sorcerer King Ainz Ooal Gown received the decapitated head of Regent King Zanac Valleon Igana Ryle Vaiself as a way to appease him by the turncoat nobles. Utterly disgusted by their treason to their former king, Ainz Ooal Gown who was thinking of showing mercy to the Kingdom decided that it was beyond redemption. Thus he had the conspiring nobles and their families taken into custody where only a slow torture awaited them at the hands of Neuronist Painkill. For the capital and it’s citizens it and their fates became sealed.[1]

Aura's Beasts kill the guards

While the Siege of the Royal Capital waged on, Aura used the chaos as cover to infiltrate the city almost unnoticed. Scaling the outer walls, she was confronted by several cowering soldiers stationed there. However, she just ignored them and jumped over them to move toward her objective, summoning several of her magic beasts to finish the soldiers off and prevent them from interfering.

The sight of the magical beasts climbing atop the city walls broke most of the men’s morale and will to fight. Though many stampeded to flee their posts, a few soldiers remained determined to defend their positions. As the soldiers pushed and shoved one another to either stay or run, the beasts watched the scene.

One of the magical beasts named Iris, a Iris Tyrannus Basileus annoyed by the shifting mass in its sight proceeded to use [Petrifying Bellow] upon the mass of soldiers, causing all to die fear-induced deaths from the roar.

However the noise it made annoyed the other magical beasts: a Fenrir, a Hound of the Wild Hunt, a Kirin, a Amphisbaena, and a Basilisk. The five other beasts proceeded to attack it as punishment for its actions. The only beast that did not participate in the bully was a Avaricious Frog named Gagarpur.

The beat down was eventually broken up by Aura who was immediately showered with affection by her beasts. Their feelings were appreciated by the beast tamer until she called them to attention as they had an operation to pull off which was to claim a few buildings in the capital.

To give others a chance to shine, Aura gave Iris the mission to walk along the city walls and crush any humans it saw. She then signaled the others to follow her into the city to head towards the Magician's Guild. After entering into the city from the rooftops, Aura also signaled Iris to hurry with its mission to regroup with them.

Vesture tries (and fails) to stop Aura

Because it was home to numerous magic items, it was believed by the Sorcerer Kingdom to be the place that would put up the greatest amount of resistance in the capital. The 6th Floor Guardian and her beasts reached the gates of the Magician’s Guild, but she was met by Vesture Kloff Di Laufen and five of his Six Great Disciples. Vesture seeing her demanded to know who she was.

Aura not knowing who Vesture nor his followers at first decided to indulge him, seeing it as a way to gain some intel. Despite knowing that her brother Mare Bello Fiore would kill everyone in the city, Aura offered the humans to act as their guides to help, promising not to kill them. However, Vesture refused to allow Aura and her pets to pass beyond the gate as he and his followers would not allow the dangerous summoning item store at the guild to fall into the hands of the Sorcerer King. This delighted Aura as she wanted to secure and return Demiurge's possession. This there was the matter to her question of the old man serving as her guide, but was refused. Before the retired adventurer could give his name, Aura nocked and drawn an arrow and loosed it at Vesture's head, splitting it open.

Aura's Beasts finish off Vesture's disciples

The Floor Guardian ignoring the stunned expressions of Vesture's disciples, asked them if they would be so kind to fetch one a powerful magic caster to talk to. But when she was met with silence, Aura gave the order to her pets to kill them. Soon after the magical beasts descended on the remaining humans, slaughtering them.[2][3]

Aftermath[]

Continuing to complete her mission, Aura finally managed to retrieve the Armageddon Evil Prototype statue, along with seizing any other noteworthy magic items within the guild building. After the Royal Capital had fallen, the guild building was likely destroyed by Mare and later reduced to ash by Guren along with the rest of the city.[4]
