Summary[]
At the Bar, Sous-chef attends to his customers which are Éclair Éklair Éklare and Albedo. The maid assisting him today is CZ2128 Delta but appears she is more focused on playing with the penguin butler by balancing severs ice cubes on his head. Albedo taking a sip of her drink sighs sounding exhausted. The Sous-chef inquires about the Overseer Guardian’s day. When she is hesitant to speak about it, the myconid guesses correctly that it has something to do with a loved one which Albedo states that he’s on the mark. However CZ adds that for Albedo it doesn’t take much thought on what’s on her mind before resuming her fooling around with Éclair.
Back to the conversation, the cook asks if there is anything wrong with Ainz Ooal Gown. Albedo answers that it’s her concern over tomorrow’s battle strategy in which their master will be taking part in in five battles. No matter how Albedo looks at it m, she can’t help but feel that their forces are inadequate. With their numbers the Overseer Guardian can’t fathom how their armies will be able to conquer their targets as it will take forever to eradicate all the humans.
Upon hearing this Sous-chef recalls Pestonya Shortcake Wanko in the bar previously stating to him and Éclair that she would ask Ainz for a special favor.
Éclair knowing what it was nervously is about to tell Albedo of the gossip is quickly interrupted by CZ who covers his beak saying “No more.” She gives him a silent stare and the Birdman catches on and changes the topic of the conversation stating that if Ainz fails to conquer the humans then Nazarick then he should be made the next ruler. His nonsensical boast is ignored by Sous-chef and Albedo. Sous-chef then tells Albedo not to worry about Ainz’s strategy as they cannot hope to fathom his true motives for the conflict which she accepts.
The true reason for Ainz’s battle strategy let secret, Éclair thanks CZ for the save and offers to allow her to keep stacking ice cubes on his head.
