Spumoni (Spumoni Spumoni) is the first episode of Pure Pure Pleiades 4. It was broadcasted on July 5, 2022.
Summary[]
At the bar, Éclair Éklair Éklare notices Sous-chef looking down. In a flashback some time ago, the myconid had went to the Throne Room before Ainz Ooal Gown and Albedo. He was given orders to allow the Pleiades be given part-time jobs at his establishment and assist him at night. Though to Sous-chef the additional help seems to be a bit redundant and asks his liege as to what prompted this. Ainz then explains that since the founding of the Sorcerer Kingdom they will expect to receive many other races in the future. To prepare for that, Nazarick needs manpower to socialize and interact with the various groups in the nation. Now understanding Sous-chef sees that Ainz wants to have the battle maids give hands-on experience in social interaction via working at his bar.
Back in the present, Sous-chef prepares a drink for the birdman. He explains to Éclair that while he will obey the orders of Ainz, he is worried that the bar will not be able to maintain its previous atmosphere with the additional hands coming to help. Upon completing a spumoni cocktail for Éclair, the birdman says "cheers" and winks, proclaiming that he will handle clean. Though Sous-chef declines as the place is already clean.

- The chronology of this episode takes place right after the Massacre at Katze Plains and the establishment of the Sorcerer Kingdom.
- The title "Spumoni" refers to a molded Italian gelato made of layers of ice cream, whipped cream, candied fruit, and nuts. However in Japan its the name of a bartender favorite cocktail made with Campari, grapefruit and tonic.
