Project Utopia is a form of experimentation conducted by Ainz Ooal Gown.

Objective[]

Originally a gigantic project designed to gather monsters friendly to live in the Great Tomb of Nazarick. It was initiated by Ainz with the intention to appeal to any players that Nazarick may encounter. The idea was that it was to be used as a front to appear that Nazarick was a 'good' guild that welcomed all races.[1]

Procedures[]

Aura Bella Fiora and Mare Bello Fiore were the two contributors to the project, though they were unaware at the true purpose at the time, by the orders of Ainz Ooal Gown. Both were to gather suitable races that could live in Nazarick from the Great Forest of Tob. The parameters given to them were that the races must be non-human, require no food and be mild-tempered.

During the initial steps to the project, the dark elves gathered several Treants and Dryads to the newly created area, Green Hole. The plant-based monsters were organized to run the apple orchard and the elves handled the administration and climate of the area. After the conquest of the Lizardmen Alliance, ten lizardmen were sent to live in Green Hole where they built a village with an expanding agricultural base.[2]

Results[]

The success of the coexistence of many heteromorphic and demi-humans species congregated in one area, caused Ainz to believe that the co-existence of many diverse races was possible. After taking control of E-Rantel and establishing the Sorcerer Kingdom Ainz wanted to implement the experiment on a national level.[3]

Trivia[]

  • While it is primarily a benevolent social plan, the Floor Guardians believe it is truly a front to fool humans into hiding Nazarick's malicious intentions with good public relations.
