- Main article: The Half Elf God-kin I and The Half Elf God-kin II Arc
When Blueberry Egnia detected the roars of an ankyloursus, the Master of the Hunt informed her and the other members of the Council of Elders of the situation. After the Ankyloursus Lord attacked, Blueberry suggested they use oil to douse it in flames to drive it away. The trio were informed of the impromptu plan and began preparations the oil. It turned out to be unnecessary as the ursus was driven away by the dark elf, Aura Bella Fiora. Pischa and the elders formally greeted the newcomer to their village. However their greeting was met with criticism by members of the Youth Faction, sparking an argument between the two groups. Though they calmed down after Aura reminded that she was their guest. After learning that Aura’s family would be arriving to the village in three days, Pischa and the other elders invited her to stay in one of the best elf trees.
Later he and his fellow elders, Raspberry Nabar and Strawberry Pischa, privately met to discuss what Aura had told them. They were still doubtful of her claims about the Trail of the Fey, but admit that it warranted investigation from her ‘uncle’. If true though they hoped that they could find a way to regain the Fey Blessing and hopeful restore the faith of the village in them. To leave a lasting impression on the travelers they agreed to have the village prepare a big welcoming party for them[1]
Orbea and his fellow elders approached Aura's uncle, Ain Fior Bell who greeted them in what he assumed to be dark elf vernacular using flora based metaphors. However the greeting totally confused him and the other elders. Unwilling to admit they were ignorant of proper dark elf etiquette, Orbea managed to reply in a similar manner before he and his fellows quickly accepted the greeting to retreat back to their elf tree.
Back at their elf tree Orbea and his comrades wracked their brains on what Ain meant in his greeting meant. Having no proper way to decipher what the outside dark elf conveyed, Nabar and Pischa decided that it would be best to allow the youngsters of the Youth Faction handle disseminating the gifts that the visitor brought. This was to avoid any encounters with, so that they, the elders, would not reveal their ignorance of proper social etiquette. Orbea wondered if that was alright, though his two comrades believed that it was the proper course to allow the younglings take fault.
When asked about how he was able to properly respond to Ain's greeting, by Nabar, Orbea confessed that he bluffed his way through since it sounded appropriate. The three deemed that Ain was suspicious by the response and to avoid making fools of themselves, Orbea was asked to avoid doing a stunt like that again, which he agreed.
Seven days after Ain and his family came to the village, a messenger from elven capital at Crescent Lake came, ordering the village to send reinforcements to defend the capital against an invasion from the humans. Peach and the other elders gathered everyone in the village to debate on their course of action, as their decision would be possibly adopted by the other dark elven communities. To assist them in making a decision the elders invited Ain to provide his input as he knew more about what as going out outside the forest.
After learning that the culprit of the war on their elven cousins was the Slane Theocracy, the elders were of the mind to assist their brethren as it was believed if they did nothing, the human nation would turn their attention to wiping out the dark elves after they destroyed the capital. Though some of the villagers questioned if that was the proper course of action, as their villages had no soldiers and whether they should get involved in a conflict that had nothing to do with them.
The discussion came at a standstill which the elders hope could Ain could break the stalemate. Their guest informed the gathered, that he did not know why the Theocracy had targeted their cousins, though agreed with the elders that they should not abandon their kin to their fate as doing so would possibly do untold damage to the dark elves reputation. However he admitted that going headfirst into a war would also bad, and proposed to them that the dark elves should send a volunteer force from each village to the capital in order to fulfill their debt to their cousins, At the same time to make preparations to quickly evacuate in case the humans decided to pursue them. The proposal was then met with approval by the elders and villagers and arrangements were made to deliver the decision to the other dark elf villages.
After the meeting, one of the elders asked Ain if he was interested in taking a dark elf in the village as his wife, though the offer was declined. Orbea and the other elders learned of AIn's intention to leave the village. Before he left, Ain informed villagers that he would like to visit again, in a month or so, though if the villagers abandoned the village for safety reasons, he asked them to bury a map at the elf tree where he stayed so he could locate them in the future.[2]
