Summary[]

Renner is seen playing with several children. Climb entering the room, smiles as he watches his mistress interacts playfully with the children, until Evileye informs the princess that they are hear to pick her up. The princess finally notices, her bodyguard saying his name. Climb tells Renner that it is time to return to the palace. The princess, says goodbye to the children, promising next time that she will visit again and cook something for them to their delight. The sight brings an unabashed smile to the young man.

While traveling by carriage, Evileye comments that it must have been hard for Renner to have built the orphanage they were just at. The orphanage as explained by Renner was a request she asked of her older brother Zanac to fulfill. Many people had died due to the Sorcerer King, among them were parents, leaving many children becoming orphans and women as widows.

It was from those people that the orphanage hires and cares for, so that they can be protected. Though to Evileye it's only logical that the weak should die. This is denied by Renner declaring aloud that the strong must protect the weak as the right way. This brings nostalgic memories for Climb, when he was plucked from the streets by Renner as a child.

Additional, Renner holds that children are a treasure. She has no wish for them to go down the wrong path and only wants to take care of them so they are not led astray. Tina who is also in the carriage muses its a smart move of Renner. As the ninja replies that even those who can live a clean life as long as someone is watching. When someone isn't watching people let their desires get the better of them. Evileye refutes that not everyone has a strong will and heard the same words like this before.

Evileye sees that Renner's orphanage is a way to prevent children who lost their parents from turning to crime. Renner also adds that it gives the children a degree of education and develop excellent talents, which she expects other nobles may imitate the using the same method. This impresses Evileye albeit she still calls it stinking of gratuitous service, which earns her a retort from Tina who calls her distorted.

Definitely annoyed, Evileye states that Tina is the same type of person as her, though the latter rebukes that she is pure unlike Evileye who is dirty. Renner further explains that an idea of the orphanage came from Brain Unglaus, to gather those with sword talent and train them.

Evileye asks the whereabouts of Brain as she hasn't seen him all day long. Renner answers that he is working to fulfill the last wishes of the Warrior Captain. Evileye takes a moment to process this before stating that the words of the dead have more power than those of the living. Brain has so far refused to inherit the mantle of Warrior Captain. Instead he would find and train the right person to succeed the Warrior Chief. For that reason Renner like to invite Brain to the orphanage the next time he is in town and hopefully see a child with talent.

Though Evileye states that one cannot simply tell by looking at a person. It would maybe require a few training session, but the magic caster thinks she might be able to figure out if they have a talent for magic. But with talent regarding the sword, one needs to look at their swordsmanship and other aspects. Renner hopes that in the future she would like to have people from all walks of life "see" the talents of the children.

Evileye sarcastically asks if that is what she refers to as "educating" children. Evileye warns Renner that her help does not entail passing her skills to her children. There's a price attached to her aid and will take sometime for results. Renner cringes at Evileye's words, as she doesn't have any money to offer.

Tina states that their demon leader would do it for free. This elicits a denial from Evileye on giving free service. No matter what Lakyus agrees to the diminutive magic caster will demand payment. Renner still resolves to do her best despite the lack of funds. The importance of the orphanage is stressed by Renner as there maybe children who were born with "Talents". Hence her reasons for educating them. On the topic of talents, Renner asks if the two Blue Roses members have any.

Tina states that its a secret for her. Undeterred Renner asks Evileye what her special Talent is. Evileye doesn't consider the information a big deal. The princess enthusiasm is clear as she claims that she wants to know how many people around her were born with the gift. Evileye decides to share the secret of her talent to Renner, beckoning her to come closer, stating that it is a trump card for an adventurer. Just when it looks like the magic caster is about to whisper her talent to Renner, Evileye shouts out in the princess ear that there is no way she is going to tell her about it.

The sudden loudness startles Renner back, causing her to collapse in Climb's chest. The princess scolds Evileye for such a wicked stunt, as she hugs a flustered Climb for comfort. This causes him to shout his own confusion at the sudden closeness to his lady, which he apologizes for his outburst, though Evileye states that the princess is like this because of his pampering. Climb denies this to be true, although Renner is firm in her belief that he should and approves of what Evileye says. In fact she wants to be spoiled even more, and starts by feigning taking a nap on Climb, like they did when they were children. Climb embarrassed tries to get Evileye to say something,

Evileye is exhausted at seeing the drama of the pair then tells them to stop, adding that she is stupid. However she affirms that she has not intention of telling anyone her talent. It's after all her trump card, just like Blue Roses leader's sword if it goes berserk and could easily destroy a city.

According to Lakyus, her will is what is suppressing the sword from rampaging. If left uncheck a city, no a nation could be destroyed. Tina adds that Lakyus kept this information from Renner and Climb because she did not want to worry them and advises that they pretend they do not know which Renner agrees to. Climb asks about the whereabouts of Lakyus, which Renner answers that she is training with Gagaran and Tia.

Evileye tells Climb that the other two adventurers were killed in battle with Jalabaoth, and though they have been revived, they lost a lost of life-force. Thus they are training to recover the power they lost. If that demon returns to the capital again, it will be difficult to even buy time. Tina questions if Evileye's mention of buying time, involves allowing for her favorite guy to show up. She means of course Momon, who Eveileye unabashedly becomes elated at the sound of his name, going far as to praise the warrior for his skill in wielding huge swords. She even boasts that if Jaldaboath ever returns Momon would be the one to slaughter him.

When Tina points out that the adamantite adventurer is under the control of the Sorcerer King, it evokes iirration out of Evileye out of her, cursing the undead monster for subjugating the man she loves. Tina mutely comments that her friend gets all emotional when it comes to Momon, though she would like to hears something from the magic caster. And asks if she can kill the Sorcerer King?

Based on the stories that Evileye heard, she gives a definite negative. In fact when she heard about what happened at the Katze Plains to her it sounded too ridiculous to be true. And thought that it was all illusion conjured by magic.

Climb having been there knows for a fact that the hell that happened there was no illusion. He was one of the lucky ones to survive, and was kept sane due to the support of Brain and the Warrior Chief. But many soldiers that day died, and those that survive were traumatized. The warrior asks Evileye who is stronger, Momon or the Sorcerer King?

Evileye does not know, she would like to think it's Momon, but the Sorcerer King's power is unimaginable. The two are both so powerful and so different she can't picture an outcome. From this Tina, laments that it is a shame that someone like Momon is under the control of the Sorcerer King. The occupants of the carriage are silent as they process this information.

Evileye breaks the silence, as she asks Climb and Renner if they are ever going to separate, as they have been close to one another since Evileye shouted in Renner's ear. The ensuing drama between the couple erupts as Renner and a flustered Climb apologize to one another as the two adventurers watch.

At Ro-Lente Castle, Prince Zanac, is suffering from stomach pains due to mental stress. All stemming from being unable to find his older brother's whereabouts, at this point Zanac doubts he is even alive as not even a body was recovered. He complains that even to the end, his brother is giving him trouble. Some good came out of sending out a request to search for his brother, as Zanac was able to establish ties with the adventurers. Even so, Zanac does not have much political backing currently. Marquis Raeven has returned to his territory, after experiencing the terrifying power of the Sorcerer King, Zanac understand way the noble retreated and suspects that he will not come back to the capital.

There is also the friendships of the Third Princess and their overwhelming force that worries him. Renner's associates have enough military power to overthrow him. And also whether or not of make an offering to the Sorcerer King. Although giving gifts to a country that was founded on stolen territory would be seen as a sign of subservience. But Zanac believes that it is important to deepen his nation's relationship with the Sorcerer Kingdom. All these concerns fall to Zanac as the next king. As he wonders if the nobles would approve of his idea to offer tribute to the Sorcerer King, a maid informs him that Renner has returned.

While Zanac doesn't like Renner, he goes to meet her, hoping to hear some good ideas from his sister. The two siblings courteously greet one another, and Renner follows him back to his study. Renner notes his pace being faster, and asks if he received a message from the Sorcerer Kingdom. The prince has not though now that Renner mentioned it, receiving a message would not be unexpected.

As if reading his thoughts, Renner asks her brother if he is worried about giving a gift to the Sorcerer Kingdom. Thus she suggests that he give twice as much to what he originally planned as a suitable gift. Half as a token of thanks for coming to their kingdom and another half that goes without saying. Zanac sees it as a good move, as it would be interpreted without any excuses by the nobles. The prince mentally notes how sharp his younger sister is as well as terrifying.

Zanac then tells Renner that once he becomes king, he will give her a territory in some remote location so she can live there quietly. Renner happily accepts his word. Zanac feels that the offer is decent as it provides Renner with a pain-free life. There she can live with her orphaned children and do as she pleases. The princess happily thanks give, to Climb's disapproval, wondering why his mistress would accept such an offer from a gut like Zanac. Renner adds that she looks forward to the day when Zanac ascends the throne. She asks that when Zanac becomes king, he remember her from time to time, which Zanac assures her that he will and would be happy if she could continue to consult with him.

A guard approaches the royals, informing Zanac a report came in that a diplomatic mission from the Sorcerer Kingdom was coming. Their father, the king has also summoned the pair to talk to them. The prince heads to meet their father first. The two royals agree to meet again later. After Zanac departs, Renner thinks about Zanac's offer of giving her a territory in some remote location. To chuckles, ominously says that she doesn't feel attracted to the undead anymore and its too late for such a suggestion.

A week later, outside the Royal Capital's gates, Zanac in armor and on a horse, escorted by several riders, notices a cloud of dust approaching. A couple of dark armored riders are seen escorting a dark carriage pulled by skeletal steeds. One of the dark riders approaches Zanac, declaring that they are the Sorcerer Kingdom of Ainz Ooal Gown's diplomatic mission.

In turn Zanac responds by announcing his identity and welcomes the mission and invites them to the royal palace. The rider accepts the invitation from the prince. It apologizes for not providing a name as it has none, but instead gives the prince the name of its race Death Cavalier which the prince uses in lieu of a name.

Zanac asks if he may greet the head of the mission, which the Death Cavalier permits. While the riders prepare, Zanac orders his men to be careful and not to be rude.

The air is ominous as the Death Cavalier beckons the human towards the door of the carriage. Upon the doors opening, Albedo emerges, introducing herself as the leader of the mission. Her beauty and appearance stuns the human prince.
