Summary
Jugem atop the watchtower, sights a large band of Goblins, Trolls, and Orges heading for the village, ordering alarms to be sounded. Awoken by the alarm bells, Enri & Nemu get dressed quickly, as the villagers make haste to their shelter spots. Exiting their home, a neighbor offers Enri to take Nemu to the shelter, while she as Village Chief attends to the matter; Nemu, understanding of her sister's duties, goes with the neighbor. Enri voices to herself how she feels like some evil god is causing all this trouble upon her.

Enri and Nemu are woken by his alarm and dress while village quickly move to shelters. Enri trusts a neighbor with Nemu and proceeds to meet with her goblins.

The Vigilante Corps rendezvous with the goblins at the weakest gate, establishing basic defenses and distributing weapons. Jugem, Enri, and Nfirea quickly plan their strategy, but are at a loss as to the identity of their attackers. Only able to suspect the Giant of the East and the Snake of the West, their anonymous enemies attack without preamble or warning.
The Vigilante Corp, with aid by the village Ogres, set up defenses inside the defensive walls. Jugem greets Enri, and Nfirea soon follows after taking Lizzie to the gathering point. Glad to see them, Jugem then calls for Agu & his tribemates for aid; agreeing so, out of a debt of gratitude for saving them the day earlier. Nfirea provides Agu's troop with vials to throw at the enemy to slow them down. Brita comes to Jugem asking if the Giant of the East & Demon Snake of the West are behind this, with him not ruling it out until they know for certain. Enri & Nfirea head back in the village to confirm all residents escaped, while Jugem orders troops to take position.

Arrow fire, boulders thrown by ogres, and shouted insults claim casualties on the attacker's side before the walls are breached. Once the dust clears, amid the chaotic horde attacking through the path of least resistance, the defenders prioritize the destruction of a 'strangely moving troll'. Its large size, strangely colored skin, and facial expressions cause the goblins to become apprehensive; considering retreat, Jugem orders them to stand and die before retreating.
As the walls are hit, archers loose a volley and strike down several invaders, but before launching a second wave, enemy Ogres throw boulders to takedown the watchtower, forcing the Goblin Archers to drop down & regroup; but not before killing a few enemies. Launching a third wave, some enemy troopers are hit, but the Vigilante Corps changes gear for close quarter battle. As the enemy breaks through a door, Jugem states that was intentional to divert them into a narrow pass; providing the Vigilantes Corps an easy close kill count. Cona & Jugem calm from their immediate success, only to note one troll moving strangely, which immediately downs several more walls. Believing that to be the Giant of the East, the Goblin Troop want to escape with Enri to safety, but hold that option as a last effort just in case. Jugem then acknowledges that they may die, but they will not retreat.

Having withdrawn from the scene to confirm the security of their neighbors, Enri and Nfirea encounter a troll sneaking over an undefended portion of the village wall. Neither has lethal weapons and are forced to resort to deception and ad-hoc spells to keep Jugem's unit from being attacked on all sides. Despite their best efforts, the troll closes with them, overwhelms Nfirea's magic, and is poised to kill him just as Jugem defeats the strange troll.
In the village, Enri & Nfirea confirm no villagers are remaining, but hear a sound only to see an enemy troll climbing the back wall of the village away from the fighting. Both run to hide in the Ogre hut. Enri notes a smell, with Nfirea explaining that's natural for ogres which will hide them from the troll's sense of smell. But as the troll is following the scent of humans, it is likely to attack the hiding residents. While Nfirea wants to lead it to Jugem's troop, ENri is opposed as it would sandwich them by enemy forces. Enri thinks up a plan; just as the troll arrives at the hut, but stops upon smelling a small lot of ogres living in there. Off guard, the troll has his nose snuffed by Nfirea throwing a strong chemical vial at its nose; prompting a chase. As Enri runs into another home to hide, Nfirea wears a similar cloak as her to lure the troll away.

  +
Reinforcements are sprinting to his aid, but the troll's hands are only feet away from crushing Nfirea. The inevitable blow will never land. Lupusregina interposes herself between the troll and him, appearing out of nowhere, and her courteous speech and benevolent actions disguise her murderous ability. The troll simply burns, having died so quickly it never made a sound.
As the Vigilante Corp kill off enemy troops, the only one left standing it the Giant of the East, roaring like mad and swinging massive weapon wildly. Jugem gets a small slash into the Giant's leg, but quickly falls back to dodge the massive blade of the war troll, but notices the troll isn't healing from its racial ability. The Giant of the East breaks through the defenses and quickly rages, with Jugem roaring he will not let a nasty war troll defile Miss Enri's village. Meanwhile, as Enri & Nfirea keep up their diversion, the troll continues to follow Nfirea, from sight, not smell anymore. Nfirea escapes as the troll has his arms stuck in the house, and by deciding to be the decoy he wants Enri to escape; confessing his love for her as he lures the troll away.

  +
Following the battle, Nfirea and Jugem try to understand the war troll that they observed. Its inability to repair damage, its grotesque movements, and the way its flesh felt underneath his blade lead Jugem to believe it belongs to a certain sub-species of troll. He states this as a fact to Nfirea, who suggested that the troll was undead.
Caught against a wall, Nfirea uses 'Hypnotism' only to find the troll resistant, leading the troll to attack Nfirea. He dodges under the trolls punch, only to be caught by a knee to his stomach; surviving thanks to his reinforce armor spell. Nfirea buys as much time as possible attacking and distracting the troll, despite his extensive injuries, and swearing to get out alive until he hears Enri's response to his confessing he loves her. Just as Enri & three Goblin troopers arrive, the troll is about to kill Nfirea only for Lupusregina to arrive & block the attack. She notes his health is in the red, and uses the 'Heal' spell on him. Enri runs in to hug him, both glad the other is okay, then they see the troll from a moment earlier mangled and on fire; astonished by Lupusregina, who notes the scene reminds her of hamburgers.

  +
While conversing on less important matters, Lupusregina and Yuri appear as suddenly as before. Nfirea, Enri, and Nemu have been invited to Ainz Ooal Gown's residence, and they are their escorts.
They hear the cheers of victory from the others and know they can rest easy. As Lupusregina departs, she informs Nfirea that Ainz wants to invite him for dinner at his residence. With the battle won, the two love birds rest while the others clean up from the battle. Enri & Nfirea sit besides a tree, happy to have escaped alive, but Enri doesn't want Nifrea to do something so dangerous again. Thinking about his words & gauging her own emotional state, she tells him she doesn't want him to leave her side. She asks if this is love, him replying he'd be happy if that were so.

The conversation that occurs in the throne room make certain truths evident. Nfirea knew him as "Momon" at first. He wears the mask Enri believes is his face due to Ainz manipulating her and Nemu's memories of when they saw his true one. Enri has no reason to believe that the two identities are the same person, since Nfirea has not revealed this knowledge to her. Nemu, Enri's younger sister, provides Ainz with a way to conceal his undead nature, and he humors her with a tour of the Great Tomb. The dinner is not as extravagant as possible, but the sheer quantity far surpasses their usual expectations.
The next morning, the ogres helpt the Vigilante Corps rebuild their defensive walls. Meanwhile, Nfirea and Jugem talk about the goblin leader's new sword, only to remember back to how strange the War Troll was. The lack of a racial healing factor, the unnatural movements, and the impact of cutting into it, leading Nfirea to ask if it was a zombie troll, but Jugem thinks it was a certain subset of trolls. Their talk is ended as Enri & Nemu walk out in they fancy dresses, with Nfirea commenting on how beautiful she looks. Enri blushes, with Jugem & Nemu giddy with glee to see them finally moving their romance along. Suddenly, Lupusregina arrives, but is head chopped by Yuri who apologizes for her startling them. She announces they are here to escort Nfirea, Enri & Nemu to Ainz's residence for dinner in congratulations for the Purple Potion.

In is office, Enri is nervous but Nfirea & Lumière let her know it is OK to relax. She is thankful for the tea, and anxiously adds half the sugar & creamer into it. Nfirea wonders if he can improve the village's food quality if he learn Spice Magic to synthesize Sugars & Salts, with Enri encouraging him. Just then, Ainz & Nemu return from the tour, with the young girl excited from seeing a royal palace home. Ainz apologizes for taking so long, and offers dinner before talking with Nfirea about the potion. When Lumière reads the menu, Enri thinks she just heard a magic casting chant by how the ingredients sound. Remembering Demiurge's comments on foie gras, Ainz has the menu slightly adjusted to suit the child. He invites them to eat as a family, but will not be joining (as he is undead & has no internal organs) so he takes his leave for them to enjoy themselves. He then thinks to update the List for Lupusregina to include Nemu.
