Overlord: The Undead Oh! Chapter 68

Heart Beat! Guardian Obamas Collaboration Swimwear Times (ドキッ!守護者だらけのオバマスコラボ水着回) is the sixty-eighth chapter of the Overlord: The Undead Oh! series.

Summary[]

Ainz Ooal Gown reveals a surprise to the Floor Guardians, a [Gate] to a beachside to an unknown island that was opened by an employed of KADOKAWA. Yuri Alpha and the Pleiades in swimsuits report after surveying the island that it is safe. Albedo seeing that the other women are already wearing swimusits, removes her mantle to be in her own swimsuit, and encourages others like Mare Bello Fiore to do the same. She is joined by Ainz who is assisted by Victim in dressing up in his Hawaiian t-shirt and swimming trunks.

Albedo reminds everyone present that this outing is to celebrate specifically Obamas 4th Anniversary of the Relics from Mass for the Dead which the Guardians still mistakenly believe is an idol training game and unaware that it is a dark fantasy RPG game. Having received images of the game relics from KADOKAWA, it is the role of the ones from Nazarick to do a new relic image, and this one apparently takes them to a private beach. Each Floor Guardian has been given a swimsuit to fulfil there roles from the parent company, with even Victim having his own cute outfit.

Mare seeing that neither Cocytus and Demiurge are not present yet, he recalls that they do not have swimsuits. That is not a proble to Albedo as she made swimsuits for them, like she did for Victim. Though she does admit that Obamas has not yet released any swimsuits for the other male characters. AInz believes that swimsuit releases are based on priority of characters, as Blue Roses were equipped with swimsuits.

Albedo moves on to announce that for this event, the two male Floor Guardians will be hosting a review meeting to see how they will appear for this year's relic image. While their male colleagues are busy on their assignment, Albedo advises that the rest should try to have fun in the mean time.

In the first panel of the meeting, several members of the Great Tomb of Nazarick gather before Demiurge and Cocytus who are serving as moderator and referee. Included in the panel are Sebas Tian, Pandora's Actor, Hamsuke, Neuronist Painkill, Éclair Éklair Éklare, his Manservants and Kyouhukou.

The item that they have been gathered for is the honor being featured on the relic for the 4th anniversary. A point base system has been set up and the first trial that they have prepared involves a team competition of three people each. Hamsuke though raises the question on whether Demiurge will be wearing a swimsuit for this, though the demon states that he will not and be serving a producer form or Demi-P.

Back at the seaside, Albedo discusses with the other women on what she heard about the Obamas game, such as LittleMass, hearing that Demiurge's game counterpart is Demi-P and acts as a manager to the idol group. And how their game counterparts, are idols with Aura being named Alkaline and Shalltear as Acidity. There is a third member, though Albedo does not recall who it is. Though the Overseer Guardian deduces that it could either be Mare or even Victim.

Demiurge or now Demi-P gets into his role, dressing in a flashy new suit and cape from the previous banquet relic. He waits to see what kind of swimsuit Cocytus will wear that will be worthy of an idol. Cocytus appears with his team composed of Sebas Tian and Pandora's Actor wearing only fundoshi leaving Demi-P stunned. It is rejected and given the rank of 1.

The next swimsuit is developed by Hamsuke and Neuronist, which has Cocytus wearing an apron and swimming trunks. The same rank is given by Demi-P. Éclair and Kyouhukou then show their work, which involves Cocytus wearing a giant shell, making him look like a giant hermit crab. Unable respond to this, ultimately Demi-P named Hamsuke and Neuronist the winners.

The second trial, Obamas Squeeze, has the contestants identify which among a list is a fake idol event. Neuronist and Hamsuke are eliminated. The competitions continue from answering questions on specific swimsuit Relic items and quick press the button trials. Éclair Éklair Éklare ends up the winner of the competition and is taken to the beach to join the other NPCs who are getting ready for the photo-shoot.

Pandora's Actor who brought the camera equipment wants to know what the background of the picture will contain. Albedo has an idea of an underwater photo on the seabed. To avoid damaging the equipment, Pandora's Actor suggests using a Giant Slime to simulate the underwater image by having the people swim in its body. Demi-P thinking about all the contestants in his competition, finds it ironic, as they were continuously dunked into the water over the privilege of being in the photo-op for what was suppose to be an underwater picture, only for it to be simulated. Though he tells himself that their efforts were not all in vain.

This is the first time a location from Mass for the Dead has been featured in the Overlord manga series.
