After Blueberry Egnia alerted all the rangers in the village of the possibility of an Ankyloursus in close vicinity to the village, ideas were tossed around on whether or not to alert the other villages. To prepare the village for a possible attack, Ovei was assigned to inform the Rite Master.[1]

Like many others in the village, Ovei respected Egnia due to being the greatest ranger in the forest.
