Odachi (大太刀) is a type of swords possibly originally from YGGDRASIL
Description[]
Cocytus possesses an Odachi called God Slaying Emperor Blade.[1] A wild orc ronin in Mercenary Pathfinders possesses one as well.[2]
Appearance[]
A sword that is over two meters long. It has a gold metals on the joint between the blade and the hilt, As well metal plates on the bottom of the hilt.
Abilities[]
An Odachi, without any magical-enchantments, is just a normal sword. On the other hand, a magical-enchanted sword, such as God Slaying Emperor Blade, are incredibly sharp and durable.
Trivia[]
- Odachi were mostly ceremonial swords and infantry swords used by samurai. Thought it's once a popular sword during 14th century, Odachi and other large swords were rendered obsolete by yari, naginata, and guns.
- Kyuko possesses an odachi it was a parting gift from a fallen samurai that once visited her at her shrine in her village.[3]
