Nimble Arc Dale Anoch (ニンブル・アーク・デイル・アノック) is a member of the Four Imperial Knights of the Baharuth Empire.
Appearance[]
A handsome young man with eye-catching armor. Blond hair, and his eyes were as blue as the sea. His mouth, which suggested an iron will, was tightly shut. He was the picture of the perfect knight. One could say that he looked like a noble, rather than a soldier.
Personality[]
A man like him who had faced death on the battlefield countless times.
Background[]
A knight who held a reputation within the Imperial Army and regarded as one of the strongest knights in the Empire.

Overlord First Half Arc[]

Nimble hurried on Hippogriff to the Imperial Castrum where the Imperial Army was stationed at the Katze Plains to start the Annual Wars with the Re-Estize Kingdom. There he was greeted by an entourage of ten knights. He was taken to General Natel Inyem Dale Carvain, where he informed his comrade of the newest developments. In that Archduke Ainz Ooal Gown would be leading the coming battle. His timing was perfect as no sooner did he deliver the news, the Archduke had arrived to the base with his servants Fluder Paradyne and Aura Debay Fiora. There he presented a formal letter to Ainz, though the Archduke stated he would look at it at another time. He watched to his horror when the Archduke summoned three hundred Death Knights for his army.[1]
Overlord Second Half Arc[]

There he witnessed the horrifying Massacre at Katze Plains and after overseeing the battle with the Kingdom, he had to return to the capital immediately. He rode a magic beast capable of flight to meet the Emperor and report the number of causalities from both sides. His report brought waves of shock to the Emperor and his retainers at how powerful Ainz Ooal Own truly was.[2]
Afterwards he witnessed Jircniv's personal gift to the Archduke, a Pure White Sleipnir slam a hoof in the magic caster's face. He drew a sword to prepare and kill the beast for the offense, but to the shock of everyone, Ainz was unharmed and accepted the horse, intending to break it.[3]
Later he visited the Archduke's manor, and was taken by seeing Ainz's skeletal hand. The noble quickly stated that it was an illusion, though the knight was not so sure. There he watched Ainz reveal the maids the Empire had sent as spies and warned them of any attempts to fish information from him will not be tolerated. Nimble knowing this was the several nobles' doing, begged for forgiveness. To his relief the Archduke believed him and commanded the traitorous maids to go back to kill their former employers. The sheer brutally of it caused Nimble to innately fear Ainz.[4]
Later he served as Ainz Ooal Gown's guide to Arwintar after the Archduke settled in his mansion. While Ainz went incognito as a commoner with Solution and Narberal as his attendant, Nimble guided them through the city's central market.[5] While he was getting some items of food for the Archduke and his maids to try, Nimble was briefly separated from them missing out on an attempt by assassins.[6]
Nimble's lack of attentiveness was brought up when he was summoned by the Emperor in a secret meeting.[7]
Abilities and Powers[]
One of the highest-ranking knights in the Empire, he was equipped with a full plate armor he wore. It was made of the rare metal adamantite, and further enchanted with powerful magic. There were only a few suits of armor like this in the Empire.

Jircniv Rune Farlord El-Nix[]
Nimble is loyal to Emperor Jircniv and the Baharuth Empire, performing his duty as one of the strongest Four Imperial Knights.
Natel Inyem Dale Carvain[]
Nimble is in good terms with General Carvain and respects him. He doesn't want to use the imperial decree against the General as it may damage their friendship.
Ainz Ooal Gown[]
Nimble is still terrified of Ainz since he saw his powerful spell that massacred the Kingdom. he constantly worries if such maguc was pointed towards the Empire.
Trivia[]
- In the Web Novel, Nimble is part of a conspiracy led by the Emperor to find a weakness in Ainz Ooal Gown and was even privy to Jircniv's secret code. Though in the Light Novel, he is aware of such plans are being made, the only other person the emperor show's his code to is his secretary.
- In the Light Novel is is established to be a magic caster of the divine system.
