Nazarick's Intelligence Agency is the tentative name of the idea suggested by both Ainz Ooal Gown and Demiurge to organize an intelligence-gathering agency.
Background[]
Initially, Ainz Ooal Gown had considered the idea of making an intelligence network of his own kind, the type which comprises purely of his summoned undead minions. However, that idea was quickly reconsidered due to various setbacks like the undead's vague response to his command. According to Albedo, it is also an intelligence network being spearheaded by Demiurge with the goal of gathering information from all around the continent.
According to Ainz, the intelligence agency led by Demiurge was set to be established on the seventh floor of Nazarick.[1]
Chronology[]
The Craftsman of Dwarf Arc[]

Ainz thought about the idea of needing to create and arrange an undead intelligence network of his own in the New World. Ainz felt that if his summoned undead minions can report back to him without a problem, he is willing to place them all over the world. However, seeing that come to fruition would be quite difficult to accomplish because even if Ainz issued a clear command, the undead could only give out vague responses. In addition to that, Ainz have found it very hard to manage the massive increase in the number of undead summons which he had created. Ainz considers the risk that he might end up slipping up and giving an order to a completely unrelated undead minion by accident if not managed properly.
In the future, Ainz is looking to set up some unknown system in place to address this network's problem. Ainz thought of maybe letting someone like Pandora's Actor handle that sort of thing in his stead. However, he immediately retracted the idea of allowing Pandora's Actor to do it for him, considering he may also have to deal with the problem of all the undead his NPC made freezing up when he's not in his form. He would have to rethink and reflect about the matter in earnest after seeking the opinions of Albedo and Demiurge first before reaching a unanimous decision.[2]
The Witch of the Falling Kingdom Arc[]
- Main article: The Witch of the Falling Kingdom Arc
Albedo describes how Demiurge has been busy traveling far and wide outside the tomb to prepare on setting up an intelligence agency with Nazarick at its center. From Albedo's point of view, she felt the agency could prove to be problematic to her own plans, particularly her secret unit that she has been planning to make and set them out on doing.[3]
Strength[]
So far, no information has been revealed about who is going to be in-charge of Nazarick's intelligence network except for the fact that there are two frontrunners who can get a hold of such position. In other words, it will most likely come down between either Demiurge or Pandora's Actor who Albedo assumed, was going to end up being chosen as the head of the agency.
Possible Candidates[]
Trivia[]
- As of yet, no clear candidate has been formally decided upon to run Nazarick's Intelligence Agency.
- According to the Floor Guardian Overseer, if possible, Albedo would love to take authority of the agency for herself by letting an easy to manipulate puppet control the agency in her place.
- Out of all the candidates besides herself mentioned, Albedo is against the idea of appointing Demiurge in running the organization.
