Nazami participated in the defense of E-Rantel against a horde of Chaos Beasts. The first wave of ten thousand were eliminated by the combined armies of the Tripartite Alliance but word reached them that another wave of twenty to thirty thousand was approaching. Already exhausted the united armies had no hope to defeat the Chaos Beasts.[2] When the Demon Emperor Jaldabaoth appeared to offer to save the Alliance, Nazami witnessed his liege Jircniv Rune Farlord El-Nix accept the deal. The demon and his cohorts defeated Chaos Beasts, but the Alliance were unprepared for the cost as the demons demanded not just all the valuables in E-Rantel but also Emperor Jircniv's life. The Four Imperial Knights unwilling to allow the last concession to come to pass fight against the Demon Emperor to protect the emperor. Nazami sacrificed his life in a vain attempt to allow his fellow Imperial Knights to strike Jaldabaoth which failed.[3]
After the Demon Emperor was defeated by the "Dark Warrior," efforts were made by the emperor to revive his loyal knight. Jircniv went as far to negotiate with Princess Renner to acquire the resurrection magic of Lakyus Alvein Dale Aindra. Though the magic of the 5th tier was not enough to revive Nazami as his corpse was crushed by the Demon Emperor. The corpse was so damaged that the magic failed, leaving the Four Imperial Knights one member down and his comrades saddened by his absence.[4]
