Naeurl-yaki (ナイウル焼き) is a sauce from the New World.

Description[]

Count Naeura’s lineage had been researching seafood for generations in order to secure the bragging rights that they had the best seafood in the entire Re-Estize Kingdom. Said research produced a sauce that led to the creation of E-Naeurl style grilled fish, a story that was quite widespread.[1][2]

Appearance[]

No information is given on this item's appearance.

Abilities[]

It is said to be made by mixing soy sauce and honey and used to glaze over other ingredients. Heat had to be controlled precisely during the grilling process to prevent the sauce from burning.

Trivia[]

  • The count's family may have not been original with the idea of the sauce and may have gotten the recipe from YGGDRASIL players.
  • Given the name and the ingredients it's mostly likely Naeurl-yaki is the New World's recreation of teriyaki which is a Japanese cooking method and seasoning in Western culture.
  • In Mass for the Dead, Scama Elbero found the sauce to be delicious and had cravings whenever she thought about E-Naeurl.[3]
