Myconids (
Background[]
Myconids prefer to live in subterranean environments. After the establishment of the village on the 6th Floor, the scouts from the Great Tomb of Nazarick have recently discovered a colony of these creatures underground, deep within the mountains.[1]
Appearance[]
Myconids presumably come in a variety of shapes and sizes, depending on the species of mushroom. They are humanoid mushroom people, and instead of hands, they possess tendrils.
Abilities[]
No abilities have been displayed in the Light Novel. Though in the game media, myconids have various abilities depending on color. Such as purple speckled mycondis are capable of releasing a cloud of toxic spores and gold myconids are capable of dropping healing potions.
Trivia[]
- Sous-chef is the only known Myconid in the Great Tomb of Nazarick.[2]
- Myconids can also be found in the Great Forest of Tob, as Foresight encountered a pair there while searching for herbs during a job.[3]
- Myconids are one of the spawned monsters in the game located on the 6th Floor and are depicted as moving mushrooms.[4]
