Mummy (ミイラ) is the tentative name of a high ranking member of Zurrernorn in the Overlord Web Novel.

Appearance[]

An extremely tiny, strange man clad only in a cloth wrapped around his waist. His flesh and limbs were thin to the point of almost non-existence making him resemble a mummy. And he possessed wide open and exposed eye sockets and toothless gums.

Personality[]

The mummy man was an extremely soft spoken man, barely even audible save to only people like Clementine. The man appears to be apathetic to the deaths of others though he does possess a sense of self-preservation.

Overlord Second Half Arc[]

Main article: Overlord Second Half Arc

The mummy and Clementine hired assassins from Ijaniya to tail the newly established Archduke Ainz Ooal Gown through the streets of the imperial capital. Both secretly watched the assassins' be defeated and captured by the magic caster. The two discussed on whether the Archduke used his own magic or a magic item to subjugate the minds of their assassins. The mummy wanted to use caution while moving through the imperial capital as the Black Scripture was in the vicinity, though he agreed to allow Clementine eliminate the members of the Windflower Scripture. Afterwards the two planned on seeking the one that stole the national treasure of the Miko Princess of Fire. However to increase their chances of success in the city, the mummy and Clementine believed that they needed more people to assist them.[1]

The mummy and his partner used their connections to have their servant, Duke Wimburg call a gathering of a subsidiary death cult to invite Archducke Ainz Ooal Gown into its membership in order to use his spitting image of their god to strength their hold of the cult. However Ainz instead unintendedly usurped control the subsidiary cult, after he use his magic to grant its members youth. The mummy and Clementine displeased by this killed the duke for bumbling their plan. Knowing that the main branch of Zurrernorn would blame them for the debacle, the mummy and Clementine were out of options. To appease the Theocracy chasing them, the two planned to offer the national treasure of the Miko Princess of Fire to the Windflower Scripture. Not willing to fight Ainz Ooal Gown who appeared to be the real Evil God, Clementine planned to abandon the cult and flee to the Roble Holy Kingdom. The mummy also requested to join her deciding to flee with her as well.[2]

It is unknown what his abilities are though it appears that he is wanted by the Black Scripture who are all Hero-class people.
