By YGGDRASIL standard, Miko is deemed as one of the many classes out there that was associated with being magic casters. They were said to place heavy emphasis on their mental strength stat.[2]

Within the New World setting, Mikos are the kind of magic casters who played a central role in a nation’s rituals significantly. Through one of such rituals, the Slane Theocracy used their Mikos as sacrificial tools to access higher tiers of magic.[3]

Trivia

  • The Slane Theocracy most likely possessed individuals with the Miko class. They apparently associate each Miko Princess with a unique element.
  • The Mikos that had appeared in the Overlord series until now are only females and no males so far.
