Meteoric Turtle (メテオリック・タートル) was an NPC boss that existed in YGGDRASIL.
Background[]
Before Ainz Ooal Gown acquired the Great Tomb of Nazarick, they faced this boss called Meteoric Turtle and defeated it in battle.
Appearance[]
Presumably judging by Meteoric Turtle's name, it probably resembles an enormous turtle.
Abilities[]
The Meteoric Turtle had a move where it enhances its defense, then jumps to the sky before crashing down again like a meteor. Its signature attack is dealing a party-wiping amount of damage to everyone in an area. The countermeasures to this move are: make the boss lose its balance and forcibly break its defensive stance; take the fight to the sky and halve the damage taken, or continuously use defensive spells or skills to endure the onslaught.[1]
Trivia[]
- In the fight to conquer the Great Tomb of Nazarick, Bukubukuchagama noted the final boss had similar abilities to Meteoric Turtle.
