Mass for the Dead Arc[]

Main article: Mass for the Dead Arc

The Master of Caves and Mines was one of the survivors that fled from Feo Jera after Giant Lizards overran the city and destroyed the Dwarven Army. Th remaining civilian population fled to Feo Berkana, and the Master of Caves and Mines, acting as a representative of the Regency Council approached the White Dragon Lord to offer the servitude to Olasird'arc Haylilyal. Since the Quagoa had vanished in the early days of the Incident, the dragon was without those who could mine gold and precious gems. It was believed by the dwarves that the dragon would accept their labor as a substitute.

To his confusion he learned that the dragon who ruled the ancient capital was not Olasird'arc but his child and that the Dragon Lord had perished. Furthermore the dragon refused the dwarves request for protection as it and the family of frost dragons had no use for wealth anymore as the end of the world was coming. To the dragon no matter what they did or who they joined with, it would not be enough to protect them from the approaching death. The dwarf and his people were politely told to leave the city, but the councilor begged the dragon to reconsider. He risked the wrath of the dragon for his rudeness when Bigosa and the delegation from the Sorcerer Kingdom arrived interrupting the meeting.

The councilor witnessed the frost dragon being beaten by one of the members of the delegation, Cocytus. The stranger's strength impressed the dragon to a degree that it began to reconsider that all hope was not lost and that an alliance was possible. The dwarf thanked the strangers for intervening promising that the Sorcerer Kingdom would earn the gratitude of his nation.[2]

When emissaries of the Sorcerer Kingdom returned to investigate the bathhouses of the Dwarf Kingdom, the delegation went to Feo Berkana after hearing about its famed baths. However when the delegation returned, the Master of Caves and Mines was among the first dwarves to hear their report that the Frost Dragon had destroyed the baths. He was exasperated at the news, not sure how to break it to his fellow councilors.

Shortly later, the Master of Caves and Mines and the rest of the Regency Council were present at an inspection of the bathhouses of Feo Berkana that had undergone renovation after being destroyed by the Frost Dragon. Said renovations were completed under the supervision of Sebas, a representative of the Sorcerer Kingdom, who proposed it. The new bathhouses, which featured the "styles of the Sorcerer Kingdom" and "the inventions of the Sorcerer Kingdom," was well-received by the other dwarves.[3]
