Episode 1: Nazarick Shaken by the Report[]

At the 9th Floor in the Round Table Room of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, the Floor Guardians and Pleiades gathered together to report and discuss on the events that happened in the Baharuth Empire.

Once the protagonist finishes giving the overview, Albedo adds that Lupusregina Beta and CZ2128 Delta have remained in the Empire to continue monitoring the targets, who appear to be very interested in E-Rantel, though haven't been making any particular moves and are usually found in bars.

Momonga thanks the Overseer Guardian and Territory Guardian for their hard work, adding that he will inform Solution Epsilon of the situation later...but for now he wants to hear what the others in the room think of this incident. The Overlord leaves the floor open to opinions. Demiurge speaks up first, stating that they are dealing with strangers who claim to have ties to YGGDRASIL and are aware of Ainz Ooal Gown. Moreover, they targets are beings who seem to have been born from the Sea of Possibilities and have come from another world seeking aid. All these details are interesting to the 7th Floor Guardian.

Sebas Tian is next, stating that the strangers say that they are friendly, but the butler is concerned on how much these people known about Nazarick? An unknown party having knowledge of them is something everyone in the room can agree that it's not a situation where they can be completely happy about.

Cocytus though calls it boils down to the other party wanting cooperation with them, so they can avoid the difficulties that may arise in the world they live in. Aura Bella Fiora voices that it's still suspicious that the strangers act like they know what's going to happen. Mare Bello Fiore points out that they strangers want them to come to another world, and questions if that world is truly different from the current one. Shalltear Bloodfallen finds it hard to believe, but the story seems a bit too far-fetched to be a lie. All in all Aura feels that the other party is trying to deceive them.

Momonga then asks the Pleiades on their opinions. Entoma Vasilissa Zeta answers and wonders if the strangers just mentioned Ainz Ooal Gown to gain credibility. Yuri Alpha thinks that the strangers know enough information to pique the interest of Nazarick, and even if they were lying, she wonders how these people from another world would even know about the guild. Narberal Gamma in her humble opinion, the tactic of "saying hello" seems a bit creepy and believes that the should be more careful in dealing with the interlopers.

Demiurge in his regard to the mysterious sisters, Aggresiel and Billiophia, makes it apparent that the two want to cooperate with Nazarick, but what they want from the Sorcerer Kingdom is still ambiguous. Even if they claim they want to avoid difficulties, the demon is sure there are many different ways to solve them. Momonga agrees with the demon, thus he asks Albedo if there is any more detailed information on the sisters. There is information from the sisters, which Albedo had been withholding for another report. That's beside the point as Momonga is more interested in her feelings towards the strangers, and that includes everyone in the room so that there will be less misunderstandings and more sharing of information.

This excuse is used by Momonga to avoid shifting through all the written reports as he is afraid he will miss something vital. Albedo states that there is some overlap with the previous report on the strangers, but before getting into their demands, she would like to give he peers and master some additional information about the situation in the world that the sisters originate from.

According to Aggresiel, there are Cracks in the other world, but are few in number, so Chaos Beasts are rare. Although there were some human casualties, and few survivors, the attacks have been attributed to been caused by pests. The reaction is similar to times of peace in a rational setting. However it seems that the humans over there, lacking natural predators are too busy fighting each other and heading down a path of self-destruction.

The protagonists states that the sisters have claimed to have seen many worlds, and believe that a "war" between humans will trigger a catastrophe that will originate from the Sea of Possibilities. The mention of a catastrophe, brings Demiurge in wondering if it will be phenomenon similar the disaster in the past? And asks if the conditions that causes it been discovered?

Albedo cannot confirm this, as Aggresiel neither made any inferences that she had either seen it or her words were just a prediction. But there was something about her words that seemed certain. Demiurge those hypothesizes that if they could intentionally cause a "disaster," wouldn't it be a beneficial approach for them, since they have been on the defensive up until now in regards to the threat of the Cracks. He could only imagine what factors in the war is stimulating this situation. To him this seems like it could be an experiment on a different scale than the summoning experiments using Chaos Stones.

Momonga finds this to be true, and that there seems to be a lot to look forward to, however... the news that humans in the other world are starting a war with each other, sounds perplexing in contrast to their current world. The protagonist adds that this situation in the other world, seems similar to what their current world was experiencing up until the year before the Incident. It seems that in worlds where humans face no threat, on such many worlds had a sort of "custom" for kingdoms and empires to demonstrate their military power against each other areas like the Katze Plains.

Albedo speaks that the "events" that occur in any world are generally the same...according to their visitors who also said that the state of this world, where the Sorcerer Kingdom exists, is a rare situation. In particular, it seems that this is the first time they've heard of a case where humanity is thriving while the occurrence of Cracks and Chaos Beasts are so frequent. This is likely another factor that has led to the strangers positive impression of the Sorcerer Kingdom.

Momonga wonders to what extent, in terms of number and location. Since he doesn't know how much of the world those sisters have seen, Momonga can't just take it at face value. Albedo agrees, as their story wasn't a particularly favorable for them to believe, and there was no basis for saying it was a lie.

Cocytus supposes that it could contains lies, but then what is true and what is a lie? There is so much uncertainty. Shalltear interjects, asking if it is possible that some kind of mental effect prevented Albedo from seeing through the lie, though she adds that maybe she's worrying too much.

Since the inspection of the Empire was a diplomatic event, Albedo and her group naturally had measures in place to prevent mind control, so the possibility s low. Anyways as Demiurge points out, Albedo and her team were given solid "evidence." From their response, it seems that the sisters have a fair amount of experience in "dialogue" with others. Sebas though demands on what kind of evidence did the sisters give?

A gold YGGDRASIL coin is taken out by Albedo who tells her fellows that it was given to her by the sisters as a gift. She had it authenticated by Pandora's Actor and he said it was genuine. Its appearance shocks the old butler and Momonga confirms that at the very least, there's no need to doubt that the sisters know about YGGDRASIL. And Demiurge includes that the two know about the guild of Ainz Ooal Gown.

Apologies are flooded out from Albedo to Momonga, as she lost her cool when the sisters mentioned the guild. Demiurge tells her that their is no shame, given the circumstances were unusual and even if it was a sudden thing, he doubts that she was so shaken up that the other party noticed. Albedo though still thinks she messed up. After she realized that someone who can act within the context of a wish could be the same as Enhela, she turned her attention suspecting them to be having a relationship with the Kuyō.

The protagonist though doesn't think Albedo's reaction was convincing enough to convince the other party. If there was any, it would have been on his part. Momonga toys with the idea that the sisters may be related to Kuyō. There is certainly some concern that the sisters in question are connected. And while it didn't come up in the discussion in the end, but it's possible that they didn't bring it up on purpose either. However, if the other party's friendly attitude is genuine...if they have some kind of connection with Kuyō, it would be a golden opportunity to get information about the Devourer. It makes sense that Albedo and the others would be aware of this.

In any case, Momonga forgives Albedo for everything. Even if she had convinced the other party, the fact that she was able to safely return with so much information proves that her judgment was correct. Above all——-it's possible that the other person just had good intuition for that sort of thing. This is agreed by Demiurge, as it was wise not to immediately and forcefully arrest the target. It seems like the situation called for it, but they have to be cautious when dealing with an unknown threat that holds valuable information.

Momonga states that if the enemy uses their guild's name, they will need to get all the information they can about them to gain the upper hand. Now, he understands the situation. So, asks what exactly are the sisters' requests to the Sorcerer Kingdom? Are they counting on their military strength? From the protagonist, it is relayed that it seems that what they want is the "strategic part of the Sorcerer Kingdom." They asked for help and advice on how to turn humans into puppets and lead them to prosperity. In return, the protagonist was told that the sisters could provide knowledge and technology of their world.

Indeed, Albedo attests that their equipment seemed unlike any other technology she had ever seen before. even though it was well-disguised. On this Momonga finds intriguing, on the knowledge and technology possessed by beings from another world, likely far more advanced than that of humans...which seems likely to be rare. In the end, Demiurge muses that the only reason the sisters mentioned Ainz Ooal Gown was to draw their attention, and their real wish was to ask for help from the Sorcerer Kingdom, and ultimately from the protagonist. As a tactic, it was a bit careless...but the demon thinks it could have been avoided without saying it. It would have been information that could have been used as a trump card in a more appropriate situation.

Albedo argues that's why their words seemed so genuine. The sisters had the opportunity to come into contact with something that they admired. So they couldn't help but say it. Shalltear supposes that is understandable, and Aura suggests maybe it's a fan mentality. Albedo can't say for sure, but it seemed close to that. It's certainly understandable to Demiurge when he compares it to the human psychology that was studied in the Idol Project. The protagonist believes their contact rather seems impulsive, as one of the reasons for it was for the Sorcerer Kingdom's Chaos Adaptative Equipment has made them a threat to their territory. Apparently, even to them it was a "rare invention".

The motive makes sense to Momonga and suspects that the sisters must have learned of the "rare invention" known as Chaos Adaptative Equipment, and feared that the Sorcerer Kingdom might one day invade their world. Plus with the threat of Enhela operating in their territory now gone, it makes sense that they would want to quickly establish friendly relations with the Sorcerer Kingdom and introduced themselves using the tactic of being "possibly old acquaintances."

In addition, there was a warning. As the sisters left, Albedo reports at the mansion in the Empire, Aggresiel said that currently, things are a little unsettling and turbulent within. Unfortunately, she doesn't know exactly what will happen, but she thinks that people from the Sorcerer Kingdom may still have a chance to enter, so she would like to ask for their caution. And tells Albedo to be careful as she thinks it's probably because of some reckless priest from the Theocracy, but they don't know what's going to happen. Billiophia states that they only told them this, as it would be annoying if people thought it was their fault and to be careful.

Momonga finds this interesting that the sisters had some concerns within the Crack which they wanted to convey to them. Albedo tells Momonga that's why the sisters wanted to quickly get in touch with them, and hence concludes all the additional information she can give him. Her efforts are thanked by Momonga. He asks though if there is anything else that can be shared though. The protagonist confirms that Albedo's report is consistent with what he saw and heard when he was present. In addition, the two people who called themselves Aggresiel and Billiophia did not harbor any hostility towards them. And that he would like to say from his judgment to be true based on their "presence" he have felt. He would also like to inform Momonga that some changes have occurred in himself as a result of this contact.

Mare grows concerned at the mention of these changes. The protagonist elaborates that it could be said that his senses have become sharper...he can now see the existence of the Cracks, such as the Chaos Stones, better, and his understanding has deepened. Aura sees that the homunculus has become better able to control the power he used when he defeated Enhela. The protagonist confesses that he can attack from a certain extent, but he hasn't yet mastered the ability to create Cracks and move around and apologizes for being useless.

Momonga comments that even though the homunculus has obtained the ability known as Divine Right, he is still an just the protagonist, and suggests that maybe his race and class probably play a large role as well. The changes in sensations reported by the protagonist to them, they can be examined thoroughly together with Demiurge and Pandora's Actor. While initially it wasn't something they could analyze, but it has already been put to good use in improving the Chaos Adaptative Equipment. Even if the principles are unclear, if the same conditions and procedures are used, the same results can be obtained. Overall it's a truly useful ability.

The protagonist states that no matter how his abilities increase or change, being of service to Nazarick will remain his greatest joy and goal. And if he should by any chance perceive this as dangerous, the protagonist would ask them to kill him. This is regarded as a good decision by Sebas, and assures the protagonist that they will bury him immediately so that he will not come to harm Nazarick. Cocytus as a also makes a promise to cut him down with one blow should that happen.

Shalltear vows to destroy them too if it comes to that. As does Aura and Mare. Along with the Pleiades assembled. Yuri recites the quote, "To Nazarick, death is a mercy." Even if someone has unwillingly become an enemy, they are worthy of that mercy. From their determination, Yuri hopes this makes Momonga feel at ease. And the protagonist swears to keep Momonga's kind words in his hearts and continue to work hard. It seems like a good story to Momonga, but he wonders to himself this isn't workplace bullying or power harassment. But thinks as long as the person in question wants it, it's probably no good to stop it. So he will trust them all to use their abilities and work hard together.

Now that information sharing with everyone has progressed, the question is how to be "friendly" with those who know about Nazarick. Since the other party handed over their knowledge of YGGDRASIL and shows signs of respecting their creator, the sisters were probably created by a player. This the question beckons on why the sisters refer the protagonist as a comrade. That part is a mystery. Even though the Sorcerer Kingdom needs to be cautious, including the presence of other players, the protagonist's "sense" is that there is no lie in their friendly attitude.

In Demiurge's view, he has no objection to the basic approach being a "friendly exchange." However, he is really curious about the book that contains information about Nazarick. Momonga is too, as from what he read in the reports, it seems more like a diary or message notebook left by the creators for the guild, rather than a document. The protagonist informs his master that the book is owned by the tall sister known as Billiophia. She always had a black book in her hand and would quote parts of the passages from it, but the protagonist cannot deny the possibility that this gesture, too, was a bluff to draw interest.

Albedo even considered ordering them to do so by force or seizing the book to check the contents, but since she was on official business with the Sorcerer Kingdom, albeit top secret, she was worried that causing a commotion at the place she was visiting might lead to trouble later on, so she decided to wait and see. A wise decision to Momonga, but in any future exchanges with the sisters from another world, the Sorcerer King would like to make acquiring these documents, or at least their contents, a high priority. However, on the other hand, from what he's heard, it's possible that the sisters have "actually" traveled to many different worlds. Their experiences and knowledge are also valuable information...and could be a nuisance for them.

It stands to reason, as the NPCs in the Great Tomb of Nazarick are based on various settings given by his companions. Their ages are written as "several hundred years old", so they exist as "something". In contrast, they're sisters from another world. Of course, it's possible that the creator just set it up that way, but if those words are true and they "actually" traveled there. Momonga murmurs that his comrade...one of what you call the Forty-One Supreme Beings, Punitto Moe, even went so far as to say "the battle is over before it even begins." In other words, the side that has collected the most information about the other side has an overwhelming advantage. He also wants to extract as much information as possible from the other side.

The protagonist surmises that they we need to be extremely careful and act "friendly" as a means to an end. The homunculus is correct, as Momonga says that the other party is a being from another world, so if they makes a clumsy move and escapes into the Crack, it will be hard to chase them.

Albedo beams at Momonga, that he has anticipated this and hence why he rushed to improve the Chaos Adaptative Equipment. Although to Momonga, this is just being prepared. Since the adaptive equipment uses Chaos Stones, there are many aspects that remain unclear. Judging from the operational data, he thinks it will be fine, but if by some chance the humans who were lent it were to suffer from after-effects or other problems, it could become a diplomatic problem. That's why he asked Demiurge to improve safety and reduce the burden on the wearer, and it seems that the improvements are going well. Thus he is really glad that it will be useful in this "just in case" situation.

Demiurge would like to ask a question. This is permitted by Momonga, guessing the demon noticed he was glancing at him. At first he assumes the demon is proud of how well he's improved his equipment, and want to be praised. But it's just Demiurge expressing his belief that while there is enough evidence to believe that the sisters who contacted them are somehow connected to YGGDRASIL...it seems that Momonga is quite convinced of the existence of other worlds. The Floor Guardian would be grateful if Momonga could explain the reasons for this to him, who is an ignorant person.

Indeed Momonga agrees, as he was able to accept it without any resistance, which was surprising to himself. The Sorcerer King then explains his reasons for accepting the existence of other worlds. As in YGGDRASIL it was once made up of many worlds——The World Tree that is, Yggdrasil, had countless leaves. Until a giant monster, the Devourer of the Nine Worlds, ate the leaves, leaving only nine leaves. Them being: Asgard, Alfheim, Vanaheim, Nidavellir, Midgard, Jotunheim, Niflheim, Helheim, and Muspelheim. These are the origins of the nine worlds. Not only that there was the issue of guests from other worlds in past summoning experiments. They were all from different worlds, but were very similar to the current, so it's entirely possible that parallel worlds exist.

Demiurge now understands this better. Adding to the discussion Albedo mentions that Aggresiel called the Crack, the Womb Corridor. In regards to the name, Demiurge wonders if it is a reference to how Aggresiel were born. Frankly Albedo hasn't heard that much about it, but that's a possibility. For one Momonga suspects maybe it's something to do with the Devourer. The relationship is unclear, from what Albedo can tell, but it's possible that the sisters' apparent dislike of Enhela was in order to avoid any concerns related to Kuyō.

To Demiurge, it is unclear how much of the story about the sisters watching the others from inside the Crack is true, and how much they were able to monitor them. In addition, their relationship with Kuyō is also unclear...however, the fact that they greeted them from the front suggests that they at least have no intention of launching a surprise attack.

Plus if the territory is within, then there have been plenty of opportunities to attack with advantage up until now. However, there may be a player behind them who is just as cautious as them. If that's the case, then Momonga feels like they are revealing too much about the situation that they didn't need to know. But it's not like they're just careless people. Albedo has a feeling that something about this person called Agresiel who seems to have a certain confidence behind it. If that's due to his experience seeing the world...then it might be a bit troublesome to make her an enemy. Hearing this, Demiurge is shocked that such an individual has made a friendly attempt to contact them.

Momonga thinking to himself finds it may be a bit optimistic, but he would say that things are not bad for his organization. Those who possess knowledge of YGGDRASIL and perhaps hold the Divine Right wish to engage in a dialogue and cooperation with the Sorcerer Kingdom, with due respect to the guild of Ainz Ooal Gown. If they use this effectively, Nazarick will be able to obtain "military power" and "information" that would be impossible to obtain in the current world, and also a "sphere of activity", apart from turning humans into puppets.

The idea of other worlds...if they really exist, will lead to the Sorcerer Kingdom to eventually needing to confront those forces. As a stepping stone to that he declares that opening their hearts to their brethren from another world be a fitting sign of the Sorcerer Kingdom's respect. After considering the concerns and possibilities, including everyone's opinions Momonga knows that the first thing he needs to do is gather information.

Albedo respond that even if the visitors are filled with evil, if they were made aware of Momonga's greatness, they would immediately bow their heads and beg for mercy before him. To which Demiurge adds, they will be trained to be worthy of the respect shown to Ainz Ooal Gown. Momonga informs everyone once again, that from now on, Nazarick will adopt a policy of actively gathering information on other world and the visitors. They are to treat these informants with kindness. All the people in the room hear and obey. Momonga then leaves the current mission to the protagonist, having high hopes he will succeed. To that the protagonist vows to put his heart and soul into it!

Episode 2: Shadows in the Crack[]

At the Great Forest of Tob which spreads out from the foot of the southern end of the Azerlisia Mountains, enveloping the surrounding area. Deep within the forest, within the Crack, inside the Chaos Zone, Demiurge begins a test of the Chaos Adaptive Equipment worn by Narberal Gamma. Yuri Alpha performs combat maneuvers, hitting Narberal's equipment. The equipment is noted to not be broken. As for functionality, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong. This is confirmed by the protagonist and confirmed by Narberal. Thus the experiment is deemed a success.

Yuri rushes over to check on Narberal's condition afraid she may have hurt her, but Narberal tells her sister that she is fine and in no mood to be treated like she is weak.E ven after being struck by Yuri's blows several times, Demiurge sees that there were no problems with durability or functionality. It seems that the results were better than expected, so he thank them for their hard work.

The leader of the Pleiades, is glad to be of help, stating she is amazed that they made a lot of progress with improving the equipment. Narberal comments it's due to the studies of the skill the protagonist possesses, Divine Right, which he has awakened, For context she asks how he experiences it. The homunculus can only describe it as part of his "senses" which have been expanded. He can now perceive the world, including the Chaos Stones, more accurately. This is also the case in the Crack, which is now clearer than before when not in normal space. Narberal doesn't notice any difference, but supposes that's how it must feel to her colleague. The protagonist can't explain it well, but in his defense it's a power he got suddenly, so it might seem weird. Yuri does not disagree, as everyone all see and feel different things, meaning they have more individuality. The younger Pleiades supposes that must be true, if it helps.

But as Demiurge says, thanks to the protagonist awakening his ability, the effects of the Chaos Stones used in Chaos Adaptive equipment has been improved, making them lighter and more durable. Now the space where they are in---the Corridor, they can be fully prepared to explore the world that lies beyond. And is sure Momonga will be very pleased. Privately, the protagonist thinks the zone could potentially be the next frontier for the Sorcerer Kingdom as he can only fathom, how far it continues. Afterall, those sisters claim to be from another world, so he wonders if their world is connected to the current one. If so, how far apart is their world?

The protagonist's inner thoughts are brought back to reality, when he his senses notices something in the distance of the eerie dimension. To his incredulity, the homunculus thinks its Nigun Grid Luin. Narberal not seeing the priest, wonders what the human is doing in the Crack. Demiurge questions how he could be in the Chaos Zone, asking if the Sorcerer Kingdom loan him a set of Chaos Adaptive Equipment.

However that can't be as the Sorcerer Kingdom does not lend out the equipment. If that's the case, Demiurge hypothesizes that maybe Enhela Read Gahi left some kind of equipment behind in the Slane Theocracy, which the protagonist will check on that. Demiurge and Yuri are told by the protagonist to evacuate from the Corridor. Narberal, is told to keep an eye on the surrounding area. The group then follows their orders.

Both the protagonist and Narberal then put some distance from the Crack to meet Nigun. While Narberal waits in the rear, keeping watch over the area, the protagonist approaches what appears to be Nigun, and soon comes face to face with it. To the protagonist, even though they were so close that it would not be strange to see each other's faces, seeing that it's difficult to tell them apart. But thinks its perhaps due to the space they're in.

Nigun then speaks first saying, "Excuse me for interrupting." The protagonist tries to engage in a conversation, though the encounter becomes even more odder, as four more Nigun appear, all parroting the same phrase as the first and growing menacing closer. Not sure what this is the protagonist and Narberal defend themselves as the Niguns attack. Narberal manages to kill some of them, with lightning, however the protagonist sees that they were a distraction as several are running towards the Crack and realizes they they are planning an escape.

Narberal cannot use a lightning attack from her position, as the protagonist will get caught up in it. And even if she switch to a single target attack, she won't be able to make it in time. Five more Niguns rush to the exit, and with no recourse, the protagonist decides to use Divine Right despite the uncertainty of it being effective from long-distance. A flash of light occur, and one of the Niguns is disintegrated, but the other four are unharmed, making him wonder if the aim was off and laments that he still can't control himself in an emergency. Narberal then compensated by cutting two of the fleeing Niguns with her sword.

Three more still close on the Crack and cross it. The waiting Yuri and Demiurge and the security detail of Hamsuke, Kyuko and the Death Knight are initial confused by the Niguns. But the forest dwellers jump into action to contain the breach, following their orders to annihilate all suspicious beings trying to escape from the Crack.

Two of the Niguns are completely destroyed, their bodies vanishing. The last one is targeted by Yuri seeking to capture it. She manages to tackle it, but breaks. Still Demiurge comes over to examine and collect what is left behind. The other forest dwellers apologize for not capturing anything, thinking it was a poor response to attack. To the contrary, Demiurge thinks they were faithful to their duty, and were considering the safety of the area. Just next time they will have to be careful.

Narberal and protagonist runs out of the Crack, looking to see if everyone is safe, warning about the beings who looked like Nigun. Demiurge then tells them that they are all fine, as they escapees were wiped out and now have their remains. The remains are Chaos Stones, but has a different color tone.

Demiurge is curious on that trait as he sees no difference. Then he wonders if it's due to Divine Right, so he asks the protagonist sees with his other "senses", since he could sense things like the presence of Chaos Beasts. The protagonist apologizes as he did not anticipate this when the number of Nigun-like entities just suddenly increased. That being said Demiurge understand that these were hostile entities that the protagonist's "senses" could trust. Thus Demiurge wonders if perhaps this is because this enemy is of the same nature as the components in the Crack.

If there's a next time, Demiurge would like to see how it feels from the protagonist's "senses" when the enemy from before come into their world. This shocks the protagonist as he suggests that another such incident will occur with these creatures. Truthfully Demiurge is not sure if what they've just encountered is the first of its kind in their world. This makes the protagonist think, and remembered what Jircniv said when he went on an inspection tour of the Empire the other day. He said that he had seen some adventurers and out-of-place soldiers on the Katze Plains.

Dread dawns on the protagonist, wondering if those people were actually this type of monster. Demiurge prediction now seems plausible, that hostile entities like these--coined as Mimics that imitate specific people--are already out in the world. That being said, the demon thinks it's possible that this incident is related to the sisters encountered in the Empire. The protagonist thinks it would be best to report this to Momonga immediately and ask for his approval on how to proceed.

Demiurge is of the same mind, and orders the team from Nazarick to hurry an vacate the area. For the forest dwellers they are given orders to protect the Great Forest of Tob and be extremely vigilant in the event of the emergence any such Mimics. If a similar entity appears, they are to report it immediately and capture it if possible. Before the forest dwellers could affirm with a response their guests have already left. Hamsuke is relieved that they weren't blamed, but feels a little put off by the sudden departure. Kyuko though is more concerned of Demiurge's look of amusement on his face, as it was rather frightening.

Episode 3: New Information, New Questions[]

At the 9th Floor in the Round Table Room of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. Demiurge and his companions returned in a hurry and reported in detail about the hostile presence they encountered inside the Great Forest of Tob. Based on what they saw, Demiurge summarizes that they have named this hostile entity, which is likely a new species, a Mimic. He then would like to propose that the Sorcerer Kingdom urgently consider measures against it.

Momonga ruminates over this new enemy that mimics human appearance and speaks human language. He has heard that Narberal did most of the sweeping, asks her to give her thoughts on the monster. As to him they seemed similar to the replicas that Enhela summoned in Nazarick before. Narberal adds that she had some trouble because the Mimics appeared in groups, but she didn't think they were that much of a threat. Even though they spoke, she couldn't see any intention in them...and more it sounded like the roar of an animal.

Demiurge judges that from the remains left behind after a Mimic's defeat, it seems reasonable to assume that it is a new species of Chaos Beast. When Shalltear hear it like that, it doesn't seem like a big deal but as the protagonist calls to attention, he's afraid that it's highly likely that these "imitations" that resemble specific humans are infecting their world through the Crack. Rather being worried about incurring direct damage, they should be more concerned about the impact on human society as these monster can undermine trust in others and lead to suspicion.

Shalltear seeing where he is getting at, means that people who don't know about the existence of imposters might create misunderstandings. And as Aura notes if things go wrong, it could cause a rift in the Quadripartite Alliance which her brother urges that they have to do something about it.

First of all, Albedo believes that they must immediately inform their allied nations of the current situation. So she proposes that they make arrangements to alert the humans and prevent unnecessary suspicion from arising. Momonga agrees, leaving the arrangements to her. Additionally Momonga says that they need to gather more information as soon as possible.

After all, this is bad timing. As currently they should be getting some information from the visitors from another world first——Aggresiel and Billiophia. Albedo recalls that the sisters did certainly warned them of "ominous storms" and the like. So it's possible that they know something. There is a possibility as proposed by Demiurge, that the Mimic attack was the work of the sisters. They are currently staying in the Empire, but perhaps they are there to see their reaction to this incident. But Sebas Tian asks what would that accomplish? To give a warning and then cause a commotion? He doesn't really understand the benefit of doing that.

Cocytus believes maybe it is a test to see if they are the real deal. From Albedo's point of view, the sisters' admiration for Ainz Ooal Gown was undoubtedly "true"---they probably want to see with their own eyes the secrets of the legendary heroes that has been preserved in that book of theirs. He cannot deny the possibility that they would think so.

Sebas thinks that's a pretty disrespectful idea...but if they're not sure about their origins, it's not impossible. In that case, Demiurge thinks it seems that the premise of being "friendly" with them would be overturned. To be sure he asks for Albedo and the protagonist's opinion.

Meaning if Albedo thought that the sisters seemed to be so obsessed with the topic of Ainz Ooal Gown that maybe they could go out of control and cause trouble that could bring about harm. Then no, Albedo admits she didn't get the impression that they were such thoughtless fools. In any case she thinks the opinions of those of they haven't seen the person in question should be respected.

Aggresiel and her companions showed off their power to the protagonist at the arena. In the homunculus's opinion one could say they are yearning for power. However, subsequent reports Albedo received from Lupusregina and CZ indicated that they had not been able to confirm any particular behavior that would suggest they were spreading information about them.

Either way, to Momonga he doesn't want to continue to be behind on the information front. The sisters did say that they would be open with them before, so he has no intention of changing that policy. To obtain useful information, they should bear some risk. To find out the other person's true intentions and to let them slip.

In regards to that risk, to start with, Albedo suggests how about giving the information that he mentioned just now about Lupusregina and CZ, that they are their allies? What Agresiel and her comrades rely on in this world is the existence of their compatriot, the protagonist, and it seems their plan is to use this as a base to forge a friendship with the Sorcerer Kingdom and ask for their aid. By giving them secret information as a spies for the Sorcerer Kingdom, they can demonstrate their credibility to the other party, and also have them act as a liaison in the future. So she suggest this be the best way to obtain information from the other party.

Also, in the unlikely event that information about Lupusregina and CZ were to leak to the outside, it would be easy to deal with the related members of New Six Arms and appease Jircniv. Although she doesn't think the risk would be that great. Momonga considers her words, finding them to be as expected, from Albedo who has thought things through. From what he heard, while there are certainly risks involved, the danger is low, and he has high hopes for the information they'll get from future interactions. He admits that it's a very useful opinion by the Overseer Guardian much to her honor.

Momonga the turns to Demiurge fir his opinion. The demon has no objection to the plan to bring Lupusregina and CZ closer to the sisters in question. The previous meeting or encounter, as he would call it, the person the sisters met was Prime Minister Albedo, a leading figure in the country. Whether it was a conversation or interaction, there may have been some things that were difficult to talk about, so he thinks Lupusregina and the others are the perfect people to talk to casually.

Demiurge also tries apologize to Albedo for not telling his intentions, but none is needed as Albedo figured that Momonga would naturally notice it. And that she is glad that he agrees with her. Though Momonga has no idea what the two are referring to. Continuing on, Demiurge would like to suggest that they provide a little more information to the other party. Momonga gives the protagonist to go and speak with the sisters. In addition, Demiurge proposes that in regard to Albedo's suggestion they show the two other worlders that the guild of Ainz Ooal Gown---and by extension, the Great Tomb of Nazarick----is still alive and well, that they introduce Shalltear to them!

The vampire reacts in amazement at Demiurge's nomination. Although Demiurge is confident that his master Momonga approves, thinking he had already planned for this eventuality. Sadly Momonga has no idea. He doesn't understand, but since Demiurge asked, he suppose it's fine, and makes a comment out loud that there are three reasons for this decision. The number of reasons raises an eyebrow from Demiurge, mistaking Momonga's non-committal comment as a piece of sage advice. To him Momonga's planning goes further than he could have imagined. Demiurge had suspected that there were a list four advantages for including Shalltear, although there are still many uncertainties involved.

According to Momonga, there's nothing to worry about. His proposal is still good enough even without that uncertainty. But he wonders if everyone understands it. Demiurge takes care of that by starting to explain to his fellow Floor Guardians on his intentions. Momonga hopes that this will inform him on what the three res for this decision are. Mare guesses, that if the other party knows that Nazarick is still alive and well, they won't be tempted to oppose them. From Cocytus, even if the enemy should harbor ambitious or arrogant thoughts, if they were to know of Nazarick's overwhelming military power, their will to fight would be dampened.

Demiurge believes that they could let them resist and then crush them and enslave them, but that would be different from what Momonga meant by being "friendly." Thus he asks his comrades for any other options. Sebas asks if Shalltear is being sent out as she is Nazarick's strongest warrior because there is the possibility of an engagement with the enemy? If the other party also possesses the power of Divine Right, then there is a possibility that simply assigning  the Pleiades will not be enough.

Demiurge states that the butler is correct. However, of course, Mare and Cocytus are also strong candidates. But there are other reasons as well. Shalltear asks Demiurge if he really thinks that maybe there is a creator behind those who come from other worlds. Aura think so too, but wonders how they will react to Shalltear if they recognize her, the Guardian of the 1st floor. That is of course the fourth reason as to why Shalltear is selected for the mission as according to Demiurge. From Albedo's report, it appears that the sisters in question have gained knowledge of Ainz Ooal Gown through that book they have.

While it's possible that this information is a bluff and that the creator is actually still alive and well behind it...he thinks it's highly unlikely that the sisters know Shalltear directly. Hence explaining Momonga's uncertainty on the matter. In that case Aura wonders if they sisters are the ones who affected Shalltear's mind. Albedo can't say for sure that it isn't a possibility. If those sisters are related to YGGDRASIL, they may be in possession of a World Item.

Demiurge acknowledges that when it comes to the use of a World Item, regardless of the existence of a creator, there is a fairly high chance that the sisters in question, who are the operational forces, are involved. But this still needs to be confirmed. Momonga having finally caught up in what his subjects expect speak. Until now, it was believed that the entity who had been controlling Shalltear's mind was someone from the Theocracy. However, as these girls were newcomers, concerns have also arisen. Demiurge looks forward to when they will react at seeing Shalltear. Whatever their reaction is, it will be useful for them.

Momonga agrees, thus he has a proposal. In addition to Albedo and Demiurge's proposal. He wants the second contact team to tell the sisters that the guild master, Momonga, is still alive and well. Demiurge and Albedo grimace at the proposal, unsure of the course of action. However Momonga wishes to proceed with this, as if the other party's creator is a player and is still alive, this may be a rare chance to talk. After all those sisters are using the inside of the Cracks as a garden. In that case, it's possible that they have information about the Devourer of the Nine World, and that they're working together to protect themselves...and maybe even information about other players.

Since they're willing to give him the information, Momonga thinks he should make it more shocking. Albedo agrees as the sisters seem to be simply relying on them, but the question remains on whether they are plotting some kind of attack. Momonga's name will be effective in gauging that. Of course, there is a risk in revealing Momonga's existence, as Demiurge states that assuming that they are aware of the guild, Ainz Ooal Gown, and its members, and that they also admire their accomplishments. Ultimately the demon thinks this would be the ultimate deterrent.

Once that is settled, the protagonist states that he and the contact team will first stop by E-Rantel to warn key people about the Mimics, then quickly gather information in the Empire. In that case, Shalltear will accompany you as the adventurer Shall. What's more, she'll even pose as a Mimic witness. Since they should hurry as much as possible, Aura will lend her subordinate. If they're traveling on a peryton, it shouldn't be too much of a problem even if they are spotted.

Sebas notes that the sisters use the interior of the Crack as their garden. In that case, Sebas Tian should think they need to ensure the utmost security at Nazarick while Shalltear is away. Cocytus believes that will have to strengthen security around the floors. Mare volunteers to assist, and Demiurge plans to also distribute the demons under his command to each floor. As for the allocation, Albedo will handle it.

Proud that everyone is starting to show good teamwork, Momonga wonders if it's because that the outsiders mentioned admire Ainz Ooal Gown. Well, that's just his opinion as a player. In the first place, it's normal for NPCs to be indifferent or hostile towards outsiders. But he supposes that maybe that will change through interaction.

Sometime later, at night in the grass area outside Nazarick, a peryton is prepared by Aura for the protagonist, Doppel-Slimeko and Shall. Doppel-Slimeko expresses being nervous at riding the creature. Aura assures her beast is a quiet girl, so it'll be fine. But anyway she tells Shalltear, if she understands the plan after they get to the Empire, reminding her Albedo gave her a lot of instructions. Shall states that first, the protagonist and her will contact the sisters. If there are no problems while they are communicating, they will introduce them to Lupusregina and CZ. Aura confirms that is correct and to also not to forget the three reasons Demiurge gave at meeting. Aura tells her peers that by showing that Nazarick is still alive and well will weaken the enemy's will to fight. She hopes Shalltear will do her best in the event of a potential battle. And reminds them that they'll check to see if the enemy has been mentally controlled if worse come to worse.

Shall understands and promises that they will be careful, considering that the other party has a lot of information, and revealed the details of Nazarick and Momonga at the right time, so it will be a little difficult. The protagonist tells his comrades not to worry, as he'll follow up on that as well. He can sense the other person's presence, so he'll let her know if there seems to be a problem. Shall is counting on the homunculus and in return she tells him, he can rely on her in E-Rantel.

The protagonist thanks her in advance, believing that the information about the Mimic could be more persuasive if it was accompanied by witness reports from a third party. On that Aura comments that it must be hard to make people believe something without evidence. Sadly to humans it would seem like a completely unexpected thing. Doppel-Slimeko notes that all are in high spirits despite the difficult task...thus all she can do is try not to get in the way. She finds it a pity as if she were the real Slimeko at a time like this, she would probably try to lighten the mood with slime jokes or something. Well the protagonist is trusted, and Shall is pretty popular too. Thus the vampire will use her false identity as a princess of a fallen noble family on a journey of training to her advantage and show them what she can do. Aua wishes them good luck as the peryton takes off.

The group, riding their perytons, arrive at the fortress city of E-Rantel. The people are delighted by the sudden arrival of the adventurer Shall, who is also a celebrity in the city, so the protagonist quickly summons all critical people to a meeting. The familiar faces from the allied nations quickly noticed that the expression on the protagonist's face belonged to the Guardian of E-Rantel's territory, and they quickly dropped any business they had and gathered in a room at the Adventurer's Guild to listen to the story.

Nigun is first to react with utter shock upon hearing the story of a replica of himself in the Crack. Ian finds it more shocking that there were multiple of these Mimics. Evileye thinks this monster is like a Chaos Beast that has taken on a human form, finding it tricky to see it speak anything resembling speech. And what's more, as Lakyus can see, is that it came out from within the Crack. Gagaran thinks it was a blessing in disguise that multiple identical ones appeared. If there was only one, there would be a possibility that it would be mistaken for the real person.

Baziwood guesses that they'd know if they could see them coming out of the Crack. Even though the imperial knights are stationed all the time these days, it's still hard to keep an eye on everything. An agreement is followed by his fellow knight Leinas, who says that even if they manage to find the Mimic, if the imposter is able to mimic the original's strength to a certain extent, that would be an opponent even she would want to face.

Soi doesn't want to believe this information either...but the protagonist was involved in a battle directly. However begs the question on why Shall is in attendance. The conversation is scripted by Soi who uses the question to open up the reason for Shall's presence to help with her cover. Shall claims that her meeting with the protagonist was by chance...she was training against the undead in the Katze Plains when she happened to bump into him. ON why the protagonist was there, it illicit a shout from Leinas. When asked by Baziwood if something is wrong, she adds to the conversation that the emperor was concerned about a mysterious group on the outskirts of Katze Plains. And wonders maybe they could be Mimics . The conversation follows according to Nazarick's intentions, which the protagonist tells everyone gathered, that he wanted to share information with all, including various possibilities, and confirm the current situation. Thus he opens the room to any ideas or similar situations going on. Gagaran says it looks like no one knew about this until now. Even Evileye says what the tidbit that Leinas said was just a rumor from the Empire. Needing more information coming form the Katze Plains, Lakyus asks Leinas if she can share what she knows to the meeting.

While Leinas is initially hesitant, Baziwood tells her it should be fine since its just a rumor. Leinas then reveals that there was a report that a mysterious group had been seen on the outskirts of Katze Plains. The information came from a worker, so it wasn't very reliable. From this Nigun deduces that Jircniv must have thought that there was a possibility that they were people plotting a rebellion. Just to clarify, Baziwood adds that the emperor seems to have guessed that it was a remnant of Zurrernorn or a former nobles, rather than someone from an allied country. Most importantly Leinas says that the Quadripartite Alliance has built a good relationship with the Empire, and sh'es always impressed by the various ways the Sorcerer Kingdom manages things.

Nigun has no other intentions as the current alliance is led by the Sorcerer Kingdom and who also has a good relationship. Thus the Theocracy also believe that this is desirable. And while Ian can't say that there are any doctrine-wise parts that are hard to accept, but even those who are skeptical back home seem to be satisfied with the results. Lakyus finds that to be good news as her team of Blue Rose have been asked by the Re-Estize Kingdom to fully cooperate with all of them. In the end, as Evileye puts it, it seems they're all connected to the Sorcerer Kingdom. Gagaran laughs at this, saying it's a good thing that there are no ungrateful people.

Ainzach requests a moment to speak. The guildmaster addresses that if something like what the protagonist just warned them happens, he'll let the guild and other organizations known. In other words----they won't be left behind on the situation. But for now what should he do and asks whether he should inform the residents about the situation. Lakyus has no doubts on Ainzach's intentions, but she thinks they should avoid stirring up fear in a situation where there is no evidence. Gagaran is of the same mind, as she wants to avoid causing unnecessary anxiety among the citizens.

In that case, Nigun believes that the first thing to do is share information with the main personnel. From now on, they should refrain from acting alone as much as possible.. If possible, it would be best to form a mixed force with members from each country. Baziwood wonders how they could handle a situation where an imposter of a famous person from some country appears, how can they judge whether the person is the real deal or not? Tia recommends that a password can be effective which Tina points out withh reduce the development any grudges.

Leinas believes that it does not hurt to try, but asks would be a good password? Baziwood offers the words "Greetings" and "Victory" etc. This earns his a chuckle from Shall, but not out of any negative feeling but admiring his cooperation finding it wonderful. Her happiness causes Leinas to raise an eyebrow. On why, Shall points out E-Rantel has been through many difficult times in the past...but it has always managed to recover with astonishing speed. This makes her believe that the Sorcerer Kingdom's help has been great, but even so..like everyone in the room, strong people who are dedicated to the people have come together, pooling their strength and their will. It makes her happy to see this once again. As long as they are all here, E-Rantel will surely continue to be the hope of mankind. Shall declares that she too will find relief and peace of mind every time she visit here.

These words leave everyone speechless, and even the guildmaster is brought to tears. Ainzach is glad that there's someone like Shall watching over them and affirms that E-Rantel---- no humanity  will not lose. While Evileye feels its a bit of an exaggeration, Lakyus, pulls herself together and thanks Shall. Gagaran even feels a little more motivated now. More so like Nigun who vows to continue protecting the peace and security of people's lives, believing they are on the right path. With Ian adding, even without reference to Theocracy doctrine. And while Baziwood doesn't have such grand ideas to him it doesn't feel bad to be praised. But he guesses it just means he should try his best. And Leinas as an Imperial knight, will do her best to comply with that, as there are also favors she owes the Sorcerer Kingdom that she cannot fully repay, so she have to tell the emperor that she will take that as priority.

Outside the guild, the protagonist commends Shall for guiding the meeting to such a positive outcome. The undercover vampire admits that it did him good in front of his guests. Also, she adds that Soi was considerate at key moments, and most importantly, no one doubted the homunculus citing how popular he has become. Doppel-Slimeko is a bit disappointed as while knowing that the real Slimeko would be very reserved during the negotiations, she still regrets not being able to say a single word and swears to do better. The protagonist then tells his comrades that they hurry to the Empire later in the day. The four then mount their perytons and set out to the imperial capital.

Episode 4: The Truth in Nonsense[]

In the evening, in the imperial capital of the Baharuth Empire, Arwintar, the protagonist and Shall could be seen on a corner of the street. Shall comments on the imperial capital, finding it beautifully arranged. Originally she wanted to meet up with two workers first, but that will have to wait. Doppel-Slimeko received a message during the trip to the capital. It seems that both Regi and Shizuni were originally scheduled to return by now, but due to the extended work in the Katze Plains, they are currently on their way back with the other members of the New Six Arms, but said they will be able to meet up with them before the sun goes down.

The protagonist pauses at the mention of New Six Arms, wondering what they are doing in the plains, considering that it's possible that Jircniv is continuing his investigation into the mysterious group lurking there. In that case, Shall thinks it would be best to prioritize gathering information on the new enemy to maintain their cover. From the start, Shall and the protagonist had planned to meet with the other party first. So they will go ahead to do that that as well. Doppel-Slimeko knows the exact location where the duo are likely to be, at Singing Apple Pavilion, at the end of a street lined with shops. The protagonist knows the direction as he can sense a slight "presence" of the sisters with his skill.

The trio enter Singing Apple Pavilion, a shop that was said to have started as a bar and inn where such bards gathered, using instruments made from apple trees. The trio entered the store feeling a bit curious and wary at the same time, when someone raised their hand lightly signaling them. Aggresiel looks happy to see the protagonist and Doppel-Slimeko, calling it an early reunion. Likewise, Billiophia who is reading her book, comments they're response for another meeting was faster than she expected from the Sorcerer Kingdom. It's all too apparent to the homunculus that the sisters can sense his presence just as he can, perhaps more clearly.

Aggresiel waves them to sit, recommending the Singing Apple Pavilion's pork stew. Though the current atmosphere isn't suited to enjoy a meal, according to Billiophia. The protagonist appreciates her understanding as they would like to have a private conversation with the sisters. That is the reason by the sisters chose the shop, as Billiophia points it is also a great place for workers to gather and have private conversations with clients. But as Aggresiel has detected, there are people watching inside the inn, so it makes sense that people would be wary. So they should continue their conversation in their inn.

The two parties then leave the Singing Apple Pavilion. Outside Aggresiel apologizes for troubling the Sorcerer Kingdom representatives with the small move as the inn is on the other side of the Central Market. And even though Billiophia mentions that there is lodging above Singing Apple Pavilion, the sisters are not workers these days. Still as Aggresiel puts it they are familiar but unfamiliar territory, and their choice to relocate is just her being cautious and choosing a safer place.

Shall listening , whispers to the protagonist that the other location was convenient earlier, but doesn't it mean that the sisters actions are pretty obvious? Doppel-Slimeko worries somethin ominous is on the way. Billiophia seeing their apprehensiveness chuckles as the representatives think she and Aggresiel are preparing a trap. The younger sister assures the trio that Aggresiel just wants to reveal their sleeping quarters to them. Of course, Aggresiel says that if the trio had prepared a good location for them, they'd be happy to use that, but it looks like trust is still a factor. The protagonist is not bothered as his group came in a hurry, so for now they will take advantage of the sisters kindness. Shall agrees as she came to consul in the first place.

Aggresiel understand, and later offer proper introductions, especially to Shall. As the two sisters walk away, with the trio following behind, the protagonist senses that Agresiel seems to have noticed something special about Shalltear. Shall notes that the two are intentionally walking ahead and glancing back at them, indicating they are talking about her.

It's amusing to the Floor Guardian, who despite be disguised, the duo still might know who she is, which might be a curse for being famous. Shall gets distract when a merchant calls her over to look at his wares. Aggresiel and Billiophia in the midst of the crowd step aside to look at the merchants goods, boasting to have lots of new household items in stock, like a new faucet that's an improved product made by the Sorcerer Kingdom. Aggresiel admits the product looks interesting but declines as she and her sister have an appointment.

A portly street vendor comes over, comments on Aggresiel's armored legs, suggests buying gauntlets to match with them. And for Billiophia praises her claws. The bookworm sister comments that they came right on time for the rush hour for the market as Aggresiel talks to the vendors on goods they have. Shall comments on their familiarity with the market and Doppel-Slimeko said that the sisters earlier claimed that they were unfamiliar territory. Billiophia walking while reading says that they have to be since its unfamiliar territory. A different world with familiar people and things. If one fails to notice the difference, it can lead to costly mistakes. Aggresiel explains that in their travels they examine to what extent are things are the same and what their differences are. In order to determine this, it is important to gather information from ordinary people.

Hence why the sisters put an emphasis on "valuing dialogue." Billiophia adds that for intelligence purposes, the market is actually a place she'd rather avoid. Since it's easy to be misunderstood based on appearances. But on the other hand it's better to interact with them so they don't get scared, so she just accepts it. Aggresiel puts up with it by always trying to put a smile on her face. When the leader of the Mercenary Knights demonstrates, Doppel-Slimeko cannot help but think it's the same smile as that day when they met, and how really scary it is.

The meeting turns out to be an cheap inn room where Aggresiel and Billiophia are staying. To the visitors that are aghast at the small room that the sisters share, feeling it more as a hideout than a place to live. Billiophia says that is because she prioritized the condition of an unpopular corner room. The room next door is a warehouse, and the room across the street is vacant. It's not a bad place to have a secret conversation.

Aggresiel agrees that to entertain customers, it's a bit too much, and thinks maybe it would be better to move to Osk the promoter's room after all, since their salary is also increasing. Billiophia reminds Aggresiel that it's best not to owe too much to the promoter. The same goes for making money in the arena. If newbies like them keep winning, they'll incur resentment somewhere, and if they stands out, they'll just get into trouble. That being said it's obvious Aggresiel is not good at espionage either.

In that case, Aggresiel also reminds Bulliophia she said, "Attracting people's attention will also have the effect of ensuring [their] safety." The current world is in a rare situation where all the nations of humanity have formed an alliance. Since public safety is so good, she thinks they should actively communicate with many people and have many opportunities to obtain information. Just like they are doing with the Sorcerer Kingdom.

Shall who is silently observing the duo, thinks their personalities are just as she had heard from Albedo, Aggresiel doesn't seem to have any hidden agenda. And to the undercover Floor Guardian, it would be impressive if she was acting to lower her party's sense of caution. The vampire is confident though that if things get complicated and end up fighting, the biggest threat will probably Aggresiel and her giant legs. The girl seems to be able to use magic as well, but...Shall doesn't think she'll be able to get past her weapon and magic resistance. However, Shall cautions herself as there may be other powers beyond reason like the one used by Enhela, so they must not let their guard down. Also, there is a possibility that they are the ones who had brainwashed her.

Without any further ado, Aggresiel begins their talk with the members of the Sorcerer Kingdom. Before that, the protagonist introduces Shall to the members of the Mercenary Knights. However Shall suspects that the duo know who she is which she states directly to the women. Aggresiel sees this is a test to confirm her and Billiophia's understanding. From her reaction, Shall can't believe this is coming from someone who supposedly had mind controlled her. So she wonders if that means that there's a record of her in the book, allowing them to recognize her. She though the possibility was low, but it kind of tickles her heart. That deep down, the sisters are deeply moved by the encounter with a legendary guardian.

Aggresiel though asks Shall from her tone of voice, and the way she carries herself, if she is some noble princess. Truth be told, Aggresiel boasts that she is also a "princess" knight and would be very happy to be her friend! This puts off Shall, and seeing the adventurer's confusion, Aggresiel thinks she assumed wrong.

Shall and Doppel-Slimeko are stumped by this behavior, though the former thinks Aggresiel attitude is just a facade. The protagonist though judging from Aggresiel's "presence", that it doesn't seem to be the case. At the very least, she doesn't seem to know about "Adventurer Shall". Which Doppel-Slimeko believes that means there is no suspicion of being involved in mind control.

Seeing that they do not know who she is, the vampire drops her disguise revealing herself in her Floor Guardian. Billiophia is not surprised having suspected the girl was in a disguise. Shalltear apologizes explaining she had no intention of deceiving them, and that her previous appearance was just a disguise for humans while undercover. By the way, she adds that her cover story is a princess of a fallen noble family, thus making Aggresiel assessment correct.

However Aggresiel still does not know w anything about Shalltear only that she is quite strong as she understands. Her younger sister then takes over, asking if Shalltear could provide some clarity. Thus she does, declaring herself as Shalltear Bloodfallen a member of the great guild, Ainz Ooal Gown——-who is the Guardian of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. If any intruders enter Nazarick, she is the one who will be there to greet them.

Aggresiel and Billiophia reacted with stunned looks, in disbelief as from what Shalltear says that Great Tomb of Nazarick mentioned in book, the dungeon that repelled the punitive force of 1,500 people is still in existence. Their dazzled looks confuse Doppel-Slimeko. Billiophia having calmed down apologizes for her excitement. Aggresiel tells their guests that while her younger sister is normally serious, a little approachable and to please forgive her.

The one thing that is on Aggresiel mind is the fact that the Great Tomb of Nazarick, the impregnable stronghold is still standing. The protagonist listening, confirms that though the duo know about Nazarick, they don't seem to be afraid of him or his associates even though they've shown them that Nazarick is still alive and well. So should the question remains on if they assume the sisters mean no harm? More than anything, their surprise is closer to joy.

So the protagonist confirms that the Great Tomb of Nazarick is still in existence, along with the talented people who compose it. They now call themselves the Sorcerer Kingdom to humans, and have not made its existence public. The reasoning is understandable to Billiophia as she can't even imagine the panic that would ensue if humans found out the truth not that they would even understand.

Aggresiel says that she has traveled through many worlds, but this is the first time she's witnessed such a miracle. This encounter to her is nothing but fate! The black-covered book left to the Mercenary Knights by their Creator doesn't contain any lies, so the sisters believe the protagonist. Shalltear looking closely at Billiophia's book which the woman appears to treasure, notices that it does look similar to the book left behind by Peroroncino.

The situation seems like a good place to gather information to the protagonist so he decides to pick up what they can. He then tells them that Ainz Ooal Gown, which includes the Great Tomb of Nazarick, ask how much the sisters know about it. Aggresiel knows the trio are all curious to know how much information they have, and want to make sure the documents are accurate. However--as Billiophia continues, when it comes to descriptions of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, there isn't actually much information beyond what they have told them before. Apparently from what Billiophia can find in her book, the location the guild was located in the marshlands of Helheim. There is also a description that they are good at PKK. The term PKK is unfamiliar to her so she asks for clarification. To which the protagonist explains PKK is an abbreviation for Player Killer Killer. That a player is an entity similar to a creator. And PKK is an entity that kills players.

Aggresiel finds it interesting that such people existed in YGGDRASIL. The reason why the protagonist knows this is because it's a word he'd seen before in the documents of Ashurbanipal. And he remembered Momonga explaining it to him as the Supreme Being was once a lowly member of the guild that was an accomplished PKKer. The information is helpful to Billiophia as it has helped her understand more. However, a creator who tries to kill another creator is very unpopular. Aggresiel finds that true but to those unruly people who gathered in Ainz Ooal Gown, it makes her respect them even more! Shalltear is in concurrence, though private finds it is somewhat strange and embarrassing that people outside Nazarick know so much about Ainz Ooal Gown.

Episode 5: Continuing Conversation[]

Still at the cheap inn room, the "dialogue" with the visitors from another world continues. The protagonist aloud wonders what else is in Billiophia's book, such as a description of Nazarick and the internal structure of the dungeon. Billiophia reading from her book, that the creator who wrote it did speak of the Great Tomb and felt humbled. But she can say with certainty that she has never seen any information related to it. To her personally she was also attracted to the mysticism of that place. Aggresiel agrees that the Great Tomb of Nazarick must be a wonderful place. If possible, she would like to see it with her own eyes.

Billiophia advises her sister that she is getting too greedy, especially when they're being suspected like this. This is all taken in by Shalltear, surprised to see how aware the younger sister is of the the perception of the Floor Guardian's party. Billiophia says of course, aware of Shalltear is in charge of eliminating intruders. And deduces that she's the one who came to inspect her and Aggresiel. Shalltear denies this, stating that she's not meant to be dangerous. And that she and she party are going to be friendly. That's what her party has been ordered to do.

Regardless Aggresiel comments that it seems that the representatives from Nazarick see them as a worthy threat, as they also made the bold decision to show that Nazarick is still alive and well. Aggresiel is glad that the people of the guild she admired are concerned about her. So she tells the other party to please feel free to ask as many questions as they like, as she would like to clear up any concerns or suspicions as soon as possible. And Billiophia appears to be mellow on the idea.

Thinking this over, the protagonist thinks that the reason she is able to remain calm even after recognizing Shalltear's existence and her significance is it because she is accustomed to these situations, or maybe it's because she possesses the ability to fight back. That's alright to the homunculus, as so far she hasn't sensed any hostility from these sisters. The "presence" he sensed also backs that up and doesn't want to waste this valuable opportunity to gather information.

The protagonist openly tells Aggresiel and Billiophia will take them up on their offer. Thus he asks more about what they about the guild, Ainz Ooal Gown, and the members of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. He oof course heard some information about them before, but would like to know as does Shalltear. Well, including a supplement to what Billiophia said the other day...she states that, there is the powerful magic caster and guild master, Momonga. She remembers this very well as it was an instant answer.

And looking through the pages of her book, Billiophia adds there was also the World Champion, Touch Me. And then there the World Disaster, Ulbert. From the words in the book, it seems that her creator had a strong admiration for those three people in particular. How they made a utopia for the different kinds of creatures with rare jobs come together. In the book the creator left behind it is said that if he ever get to meet them, he wanted to convey my feelings of respect.

Shalltear has one question, asking if there is any mention of Peroroncino written in the book? With such a unique name, Billiophia says she would have thought she would remember it, but unfortunately there is nothing. This disappoints Shalltear, but asks if there anything about a powerful bow or any related anecdotes? Billiophia flips through the book, but Aggresiel thinks she saw a story about a sniper in the Helheim entry.

Billiophia finds the entry, Chapter 80, Section 72: "The PK guy who was targeting the monsters was killed in an unknown manner. It doesn't look like he was killed by soil erosion, so it's impossible to pinpoint his location." The girl states that the entry described a place called Helheim which is a place far removed from the descriptions in Ainz Ooal Gown, but the tales of adventure in Helheim are set around there. From the snippet provide, Shalltear it does look like to be Peroroncino, but she's not sure, finding it a shame that the description is so thin since it's an attack from an extremely long distance. Billiophia promises that next time, she'll look into it more closely as she'd be happy to be able to back up what's written.

The protagonist asks about other creators besides those just mentioned. Bit there are only the three people mentioned earlier who are mentioned by specific names. There are some anecdotes about unknown people. Since it is a record left behind by the sisters creator, the protagonist assumes that the contents will also be biased towards the creator. It is a relief though that it does not seem to contain any information about the inside of Nazarick. The homunculus thanks the girl for providing valuable information.

Aggresiel is pleased, and asks if it was truly helpful. The protagonist says it is so, but there is one last thing he would like to confirm in advance before they start interacting with each other. It being about World Items. Judging from the protagonist's "presence" turning strangely stiff and looking serious, Aggresiel can see that this topic is really important. Unfortunately, the knight don't know about World Items personally. But Billiophia remembers that name. In Chapter 174, Section 2, she finds a mention of World Items: "The fourth section. According to the strategy information on the message board, it's one of about 200 Balance Breakers in the world." "Seventh section. If a World Item is used, you can't defend against it unless you have a World Item. Isn't that a bit of a cheat?" "Chapter 10. Rumor has it that Ainz Ooal Gown has collected quite a few. They've become the guild's shared property." and "Chapter 11. It's a height that weekend gamers like us could never reach. It's really amazing."

That's all the information Billiophia knows. As stated in Section 11, the Creator has never seen the item, and neither do they know what they look like. Aggresiel adds that she has traveled all over the world, but never came across anything quite like them. Billiophia also says they don't even know what kind of effects some of these items have in the first place.

Still the protagonist digs deeper into his question, for example do they known of an item that can exert mental control over an opponent who is immune to mental effects. Aggresiel might know, much to Shalltear's suspicion, but the girl admits that information would be easier for a kind of negotiation. However, she wants to enjoy their conversation, so she doesn't want such an item.

Billiophia is surprised as she assumed all World Items were used for combat, but now learns there are other types too. At this point both Shalltear, the protagonist and Doppel-Slimeko are unsure what to think. But so far it looks like they avoided the worst-case scenario as it seems the sisters truly have no clue on the item mentioned by the protagonist. Aggresiel seeing their looks is relieved that suspicion on her and Billiophia has been cleared. The protagonist thanks the pair for their cooperation, as he intentionally wanted to be able to have a more honest discussion with them.

He apologies for him about to repeat himself, but Aggresiel guesses that the protagonist wants to remind them to not leak information to others. As she previously told Albedo, she is also the leader of the Mercenary Knights, so the knight know the importance of information. That's why she's been keen to share and cooperate with people she can trust. Billiophia quotes that "the mouth is the source of all evil." So they know how to be discrete.

The protagonist thanks them, and is sure Momonga will be pleased to hear those words. Upon hearing Momonga's name as being the homunculus's superior, Aggresiel is amazed and asks if he is truly alive? Even the book-worm Billiophia is shocked and want to verify if this is true. Aggresiel is ecstatic, that Momonga who was the only creator left in Nazarick, and despite having suffered the damage of the Cracks, Momonga is guiding everyone.... finding it poignant and precious...!

Billiophia now sees why the other party is so wary of them. But to think that they would keep the protagonist by their side under those circumstances...Momonga's continued survival does indeed explain it. Aggresiel boasts that this is all thanks to Momonga's boldness and the protagonist's loyalty. On those words, the protagonist is honored, adding that Momonga, the Supreme ruler of Nazarick, also desires a good relationship with the sisters, and that he would like to live up to those expectations.

Aggresiel states her Mercenary Knights feel the same way too, glad to see that they have an understanding. And hopes that they can take advantage of their ability to understand each other's "presences," cherish this encounter, and make it into something even better. The protagonist understands fully. Billiophia is glad the two group are on the same page and looking forward to working with them in future, before adding that she is tired of talking.

Episode 6: Sisters' Gathering[]

After successfully understanding each other and sharing information, the group enjoyed a modest teatime. Aggresiel mentions that the smell of the drink appears to be the Sorcerer Kingdom's trade item, Chocolate Drink. Billiophia finds it delicious, admitting that they had a proper drink lately other than medicinal broths and potions, so she's very grateful to the treat the Sorcerer Kingdom representatives has offered. The protagonist is pleased they find it agreeable to their palates, adding that the chocolate used in this was provided by Momonga himself, to facilitate his diplomatic duties.

Shalltear also tells them that chocolate is a limited resource, so the people of Nazarick came up with ways to use the ingredients as efficiently as possible, which Aggresiel finds to be amazing and expresses that she would love them all to make something together one day. Billiophia the rest of their sisters are not very cooperative with Aggresiel adding that they are so naughty and secretive.

Doppel-Slimeko asks if she can make a call, as she has been recently receiving a [Message]. The sisters curious asks what is it, only for Shalltear to say it is a new surprise. The protagonist states that while this does not mean he has any confidence in the two of them, he would like to introduce them to some of their compatriots who are active within the Empire. Hearing about receiving sudden visitors, Aggresiel suspects this is a bit of payback for her and Billiophia dropping in the protagonist and Albedo on their first meeting, but permits the request.

Doppel-Slimeko then opens the door, revealing Regi and Shizuni. The protagonist formally introduces them as Lupusregina and CZ, sisters who are disguised as workers and hide out in the Empire, conducting espionage activities. SHalltear then offers the undercover Pleiades maid some chocolate drink to sate their thirst. Billiophia has seen the two around the city, leading her to confirm that the two have been keeping an eye out on her and Aggresiel for some time.

Aggresiel though has a feeling that she recognizes them even from before the city. Then she remembers that CZ is the one who was previously imprisoned in the Womb Corridor or the Sea of Possibilities. Aggresiel is happy to see that CZ was rescued safely as she was worried about her.

Lupusregina is surprised, not expecting such a reaction. Although CZ says she's alright. Aggresiel confesses that she thought it was cruel to turn a blind eye to everyone's rescue efforts in the Cracks, so she thought about joining in the rescue efforts. But Billiophia was the the one who stopped her. There was a possibility that Enhela would mistake them for one of those pseudo-priests from the Theocracy, and it would have been too much hassle for him to notice the Mercenary Knights.

The protagonist notes that in that space, it's as if time has stopped for living things. Those who were abducted aren't targets for the Chaos Beasts, so he guesses that Aggresiel thought the danger was low for those there. Aggresiel says that not always the case as the Womb Corridor is unstable. Hearing that the protagonist recalls Aggresiel said something similar during her meeting with Albedo. It seems that the sisters' immediate concern is the state of the Womb Corridor. Still he does disclose that everyone affiliated with the Great Tomb of Nazarick is safe, so there's no need to worry.

Aggresiel is relieved to hear that. Though Billiophia comments that there are still a lot of humans left in the Womb Corridor. But thinks it should be fine as long as it's not for too long. Lupusegina wonders if that is an excuse or flattery, and so asks what CZ thinks. To the other maid it seems certain that the sisters have no intention of engaging in combat. For now they agree that they will remain friendly and treat each other like guests.

Speaking of familiarity, Lupusregina asks about the sisters current work, as the came to Arwintar to apply as workers and if they met her and CZ's boss, Zero. Zero has told them that was looking a bit peeved because he saw strange outsiders who seemed to be used to fighting in battles and was acting like they owned the place. And when he learned that the two were fighters in the arena he was surprised.

Billiophia does not seem to recognize the name, until CZ provides a physical description of Zero. Aggresiel recognizes the human, and is a bit surprised that person is the boss in the current world. For Lupusregina and CZ the sisters ask the Pleiades about them being intelligence agents in the Empire. It seems that there was no surprise that is how information about themselves was passed so fast to the Sorcerer Kingdom. Although Aggresiel believes that she was careless, as she never encountered people like that it the previous empire where they lived and granted she was acting a bit suspiciously too.

At the mention of this other empire, the protagonist asks if this is in "another world". Frankly he is curious about the similarities they mentioned. Billiophia thought she'd told them a lot about it, but looks like she hasn't talked much about similarities' part. Aggresiel would like o talk about it, but first, she would like another chocolate drink to hydrate herself.

Afterwards the sisters then begin a story from another world. The first premise is that there are many things like the current world, connected by the Womb Corridors. The Womb Corridors are like roads...branches and veins that connect the worlds. And while they don't know how many worlds there are in total, each world is similar, but also a little different.

In other words, Shalltear asks if does that means that everything else is similar like a parallel world that Momonga spoke of. The protagonist also asks if that is the case having read in the literature before that it seems that it was something called a parallel world. The term parallel world is unfamiliar to Billiophia who then asks the homunculus to elaborate.

The protagonist then explains that it addition to the world in which they are having this conversation, there are worlds in which there is war, and worlds in which they have never met before...and that there are as many worlds as there are possibilities. Now understanding, Billiophia sees that the two groups are just perceiving the concept that way from their own experiences, but it agrees that the homunculus' description may certainly be true in a way.

Aggresiel continues the story, saying that in one world, she led a mercenary knight order as a sub-organization of a regular knight order, and in another, her sisters worked as workers. Their stays were mainly in meritocratic empires. AT this time Lupusregina is surprised that Zero, ruled in one of these worlds was unique. Aggresiel states that due to that, her plan to earn money to live in the current world went awry. And so she had to live the even scarier life of an arena warrior. But, doesn't seem to mind as that's part of the fun of traveling.

CZ then asks why they didn't bring any money. Billiophia explains that currency has a different relief design or metal composition, so there are surprisingly many cases where it is suspected to be counterfeit...so they try not to bring any previous world's currency with them which is another differences between the worlds.

Shalltear then asks if they are finally getting to the main topic. Aggresiel now curious asks what they wanted to talk about that is so serious. That being said the protagonist gives the sisters the run down of the situation of the Mimics that were encountered inside the Crack. Aggresiel and Billiophia take the news about these new monsters with shock, in fact a bit unnerving that they appear as copies of a specific person and can appear multiple times. Billiophia is more aghast that the Sorcerer Kingdom thinks that they are involved, protesting this suspicion.

The protagonist is not accusing them of anything as he is aware that the sisters did warn his people in advance of something brewing in the Cracks, so his main purpose in this post is to confirm and share information about this phenomenon to them. Aggresiel understands and sees this is why he introduced me to Lupusregina and CZ to probably make it easier to contact him in the future. And--show the existence of Shalltear to iterate that they can intercept or annihilate her and Billiophia in the event that they harbor any ill will towards them and a battle breaks out. The homunculus comments that the young knight is quite perceptive. To himself, the protagonist can see that Aggresiel is a very smart girl or maybe she's just has a lot of experience. And thinks that if they don't become enemues sh could even be reliable. So for now the side of the Sorcerer Kingdom trust them...for now as Momonga wishes for a friendly exchange.

In response to this humble request, Billiophia will share some related information...something that the Mercenary Knights have always wondered about, which may be of use. This is something that they noticed while observing the inside of the Womb Corridor for a long period of time. It occurred in the current world---- the "Calamity." A phenomena like that does happen, although the scale varies. Even so, the one in E-Rantel was unusually large in scale. It seems that the more things that are taken in, the Womb Corridor begins to distort trying to stabilize itself. It becomes violent, almost as if it is flickering. Aggresiel likens it to "fetal movement." When this happens, something occurs. In Creator terms, it's defragmentation or output of input. It's a bit complicated, for Shalltear's taste but basically, it's like the Crack duplicates the intruders using the information of the humans that were taken in.Billiophia doesn't know if there is any malice or malicious intent in the Womb Corridor, but she thinks their perception is probably wrong.

On whether there are any negative effects on the humans who are taken into the Crack, like if they could be absorbed into the Womb Corridor, Aggresiel states that as far as they've observed they never seen this, but can't say for sure. Honestly to the knights it's the first time they've ever seen someone being rescued from that situation. Overall, Billiophia thinks its a great achievement, including the fact that they are able to operate within the Womb Corridor. Regarding the rescue efforts, the protagonist also inquires if they sisters think that by carrying the people out, they can reduce the number of Mimics?

Aggresiel thinks it's worth a try, but she wonders if it will make a difference. She doesn't think the Mimic is coming directly from an imprisoned person, after all. To her, it seems like there's a place in the Womb Corridor where the Mimics are spawning. Instead it might be more effective to go around and eliminate those places. Billiophia suggest going to the place where they encountered, the Great Tobu Forest.

The homunculus tells the sisters that Nazarick has continued to monitor the Crack there, but it seems no Mimic has appeared even once since the first encounter. The protagonist then asks Lupusregina, if the content of the worker job request is related to the situation, to please share any new information. Lupusregina believes that it's probably related. This time, the job was to explore the Katze Plains. It seems their boss received orders directly from Jircniv. To uncover the existence of a mysterious group and its true identity as according to CZ.

That's how it felt to the protagonist. Though in the end, she found a few footprints. They ranged from Empire, Kingdom, and Theocracy equipment to familiar adventurers' gear. He also stopped by the Free City of Vadis to check, but there was no one there who fit the description. CZ reports that Zero was scratching his head on the situation, as there was no place for all those people to hide. SO the question is, where had they all disappeared to? So, in the unlikely event of an encounter, Zero believed that they would be outnumbered, so he decided that the team should withdraw.

This makes a lot of sense to SHalltear after hearing about the Mimic. In any effect the creature is like likely a "copycat". And there may be hiding somewhere in the Katze Plains in someplace where they don't know about. Aggresiel wonders about the group that disappeared. Did the Mimics return to the Crack, or disperse to different places? It's something to be curious about. Billiophia suggests that it should be a top priority to worry about the negative impact that "copycats" could have on alliances between countries. The protagonist has that covered as he stopped by E-Rantel this morning and already notified the key people in each country. Thanks to Shalltear's excellent performance, he thinks the information was conveyed well, but to be honest, he is still worried about the level of each country's response to this unknown threat. Given how fragile humans are, they seem to be quite careless.

Lupusregina thinks that the humans will understand once they are actually attacked by these things. Although CZ thinks a better method would be to capture a specimen and show it off. Neither of these are bad ideas. However, Shalltear points out that they never know where the other party will appear. And she doesn't think there's a place where they can get things done so conveniently. Aggresiel has an one place in mind——it's a place where there is a high possibility that Mimics could emerge from the country will occur and people will be attacked: E-Rantel.

Episode 7: Pilgrimage to E-Rantel[]

At the Great Tomb of Nazarick, Momonga was receiving a report from a Greater Doppelganger who was disguised as a Slimeko. Momonga upon hearing Aggresiel's suggestion, to go to E-Rantel, where there were many Cracks managed by the Sorcerer Kingdom, and where people from allied nations were gathered. If there is a high possibility that a third party will be able to visually observe the process of capturing or defeating a Mimic when one appears...he'll allow the sisters and the contact team to go there. Well, he doesn't think a Mimic will appear at such a convenient time, though--has no issue for the team being guides to the sisters. And even suggests that they make a detour along the way, thinking that the team might get some information about them.

Albedo asks what about securing a Mimic and if Momonga truly wanted the protagonist to take the sisters to E-Rantel. It seems that it was the result of a discussion according to Momonga who tells Albedo that the exchange between the groups is going well. Apparently, while in the Baharuth Empire the sisters had heard a lot about E-Rantel's prosperity, and wanted to see what the center of the Quadripartite Alliance is like. Albedo adds that it would be a good way to confirm the truth of Aggresiel's story, and also to deepen their relationship. Momonga looks forward to the results from the team.

Back at the inn, Doppel-Slimeko tells everyone that she got the permission to head to E-Rantel and also to take some detours. Shalltear wants to et started on the journey, though the homunculus, wants to avoid arousing suspicion by being out and about at night. So they'll leave early tomorrow morning. Everyone is in agreement to the schedule, and Aggresielis eager to go on a pilgrimage to E-Rantel, the city where humans and demi-humans from all over the world live together., referring it to the holy land they should aim for.

CZ and Lupusregina are a bit unnerved by the smile Aggresiel provides. Lupusregina then asks about how the sisters are able to move freely inside the Crack, just like the protagonist, in that case, doesn't that mean they could have freely scouted the world as well? There are many solutions in E-Rantel, and if they go through the Crack, Aggresiel and her group could travel there instantly. Although the protagonist guesses that using the Cracks of the current world to scout various areas brings loads of difficulty in urban areas.

Billiophia confirms that the Mercenary Knights did try to see what was going on through the gaps in the Cracks, but it was dangerous to go into unfamiliar places, and in fact, there was solid security beyond the Cracks. And even if there was no security, the sisters thought it was really poor taste to just wander around the disaster area for sightseeing, even if it is strategically or tactically beneficial.

When Aggresiel travels to so many worlds, she tend to become numb to any cruelty or horrible situation, and before long, it just seems like one of those phenomena. And keeps hearing phrases that: "It didn't work," "That was a failure," "Well, let's move on to the next thing," etc. But even so she doesn't want to be that kind of disgusting bystander. So she enjoys dialogue, encouraging everyone in the room to talk all night long.

The parties then waited until dawn before heading out of the city. Shalltear back in her adventurer gear, outlines the plan of travel which is to first investigate the surrounding areas, stop by the Empire, and then return to E-Rantel. This is to eliminate suspicion in arriving to their destination, so they plan to stop by the surrounding areas along the way which the Mercenary Knights have agree to. Regi reminds the knights that their relationship with their undercover worker identities began when they met at Singing Apple Pavilion. Billiophia though is concerned about the Grand Arena. According to the contract with the promoter, it would be bad for them to just disappear without saying anything.

Aggresiel had nearly forgotten about that. Just as she is about to inform Osk, the party is approached by an unexpected person, Headhunter Rabbit. The maid his glad to have found the sisters, urging them come to the arena immediately. The fighters who were supposed to fight in the afternoon game have run away. There will be a hole in the schedule making it a very unpleasant situation. Aggresiel says that is a problem as she and her sister have some business to attend to and were just about to go and say goodbye to Osk before they departed

Headhunter Rabbit is disappointed as it seems he will have to inform Osk of the bad news. For the protagonist, he is uncertain on what to doo, as it would be better in terms of subtly if they just accepted the request, but if the sisters were to fight in the match, it would mean losing a considerable amount of time, including preparation. Shall wonders that perhaps they could go ahead here by themselves. Aggresiel is fine with meeting up with them later, as then the Sorcerer Kingdom representatives will have time to show them around. Regi and Shizuni have a better idea, seeing this opportunity as a chance to get in good with their boss.

Sometime later at the Grand Arena, in Osk's office, Regi and Shizuni are before the merchant Osk. The two ask Osk to be compete in place of Aggresiel and Billiophia, on the condition that they can advertise their worker team. Osk has no issue with that, in fact it would be beneficial for the audience, plus he would be grateful in the participation is preventing a gap in the arena's schedule performances. Although he asks if that is really all. Shizuni confirms, having received permission from Zero. Still Osk warns that the opponent that they will face this time is quite strong. And why the planned fighters ran away. Headhunter Rabbit assures Osk that the two women ae pretty awesome fighters themselves, maybe even better than Aggresiel and her sister.

Regi assures them that she and Shizuni can handle the fight, even saying Aggresiel recommended them. The two workers pledge to do their best in the arena, as the emperor is watching. Osk too wants to give a good show to the emperor t prove his worth as now workers are an important part of supporting the citizens of the Empire. Showing them how well they are doing will surely boost morale. Osk then says he looks forward to working with them.

Secretly Regi and CZ find this to be a prime opportunity, as they have been keeping an eye on the arena for a while, thinking that they might be able to get some information on the powerful people in the Empire. It seems that Zero was also in trouble because he didn't have a gift to bring after his investigation report yesterday. So when they said that they would show the emperor the power of the New Six Arms here, it's a way to prove their worth. Not only that it has been reported that the arena promoter has a variety of rare items which Momonga is interested in.

Later at the Grand Arena, Osk speak amid a crowd of cheering fans, offering a new and exciting battle for the day. He then presents members of New Six Arms, a reliable ally for imperial subjects who can handle any problem and will be demonstrating a monster extermination. Regi and Shizuni appear at the arena floor, and their opponent is a Skeletal Dragon that was captured after much difficulty from the Katze Plains. The promoter then starts the match. The match ends with the two workers overwhelming the undead dragon with amazing teamwork. Regi boasts to the crowds to leave the extermination of the undead on Katze Plains to New Six Arms, in a sense promoting the team for work.

In the VIP Box, Nimble tells his liege, Jircniv that the two are under Zero's command. From their declarations to the crowd, the emperor can see this as a ploy from Zero, trying to prove that there were no flaws in the investigation by showing the abilities of his subordinates. But, still he wonders why the caution for such a strong man during the investigation he sent the workers out. Nimble is even curious to know what exactly transpired on the mission the emperor sent New Six Arms on. All Jircniv says hat he thinks it might be best to be cautious about future investigations into the Katze Plains. Truth be told, he wanted to give the credit to the protagonist as soon as possible, but he'll it hold off for now. Nimble thinks that is appropriate as the people will be pleased if they are all on the same page. For now, Jircniv will plan further reconstruction measures. And as for the workers the imperial government will work together with Zero for now.

Meanwhile, the protagonist and his group, accompanied by Aggresiel and Billiophia, were heading south towards E-Rantel, stopping off at the Great Forest of Tob along the way. While taking a rest, Aggresiel whines about leaving so soon as she would have liked to see Lupusregina and CZ in action. Billiophia is sure that there will be another chance. But for now the sisters need to take the opportunity to see what's going on in the world. They hold great deference to the great achievement of the Sorcerer Kingdom, which has formed an alliance with humans and led them to prosperity, will surely serve as a reference for the future of the sisters' world. Shall asks if there is a Great Forest of Tob in their world. Aggresiel confirms that there is one, even when she walk here, the beauty remains unchanged, including the nature and the animals.

Far deeper into the forest, the Death Knight, Hamsuke and Kyuko are hiding watching the interaction between their allies and strangers. Hamsuke worries that the two sisters might have spotted them. Although Kyuko thinks they managed to hide their presence, so the rest is up to the sisters abilities. They had been warned ahead of time, by Aur to hide and keep watch. So long as the strangers don't launched any attacks, all the forest guards can do is watch, keep a close eye and see if they will become good allies of the Sorcerer Kingdom.

Billiophia senses that there is something in the forest mumbling to herself. This worries Shall that she sees Kyuko and her group. But it appears that the girl only has sensed a Crack, and asked if there is one in the forest. The protagonist tells the sisters that there is one in the Great Tob Forest and managed by the people of the Sorcerer Kingdom. Aggresiel finds that to be a relief. Though thinks it must be hard for the people of Carne Village if the Crack is so close. The protagonist gathers that this must mean that the residents of Carne Village in the other world are aware of the Crack. The homunculus decides that a detour is in order. He then takes the group to the ruins of Carne Village, where h witnessed being destroyed during a reconnaissance mission.

They are met by a sight of grave markers lining the ground amid the rubble. Agresiel and Billiophia both had gloomy expressions as they gazed out at the scene of the village, long since abandoned. The protagonist muses that it seems like a long time ago, but when he rushed to the village, it was already in the midst of an attack by the Chaos Beasts.

Billiophia finds it difficult to see, but Aggresiel says it's already too late. She supposes that the damage was inevitable when it was near the Crack. The protagonist studying the sisters reactions, deduces that the situation in their world is different. However, it seems the stakes are more serious than he thought. He tells them the few survivors from the village are being held in E-Rantel. If they wish, he could arrange for them to meet with the survivors.

Aggresiel considers it but declines as there's no need to indulge in her sentimentality. What's important now is to let people know about this potential new crisis that could pose a new threat to the world, and to dispel people's doubts. Thus she doesn't want to cause a delay in the protagonist's work.

Billiophia believes really need to see this Mimic thing soon, and hopes it doe not become too late again. The protagonist agrees and decides they should hurry up to E-Rantel. The group then head back into the forest to remount the peryton. It took to the air, carrying its passengers, flapping its wings powerfully and took off from the hill toward the south---their destination the fortress of humanity, the pride of the Quadripartite Alliance. The fortress city of E-Rantel.
