Marquis Pespea (ペスペア侯爵) is one of and the youngest of the Six Great Nobles of the Re-Estize Kingdom. He is also the son-in-law of King Ramposa III.
Appearance[]
Marquis Pespea is described as the most handsome of the six great nobles with short, wavy blonde hair and grey eyes.
Personality[]
Despite his young age, he is portrayed as a stern and serious man. As a member of the Royalty Faction, he is loyal to the King.
Background[]
His father was known to be a competent man with a excellent disposition. Many had hope his son would inherit his qualities. Marquis Pespea married the King's eldest daughter and at a young age became the head of his household.

The Magic Caster of Destroy Arc[]

Marquis Pespea attended a meeting with all of the nobles of both factions and the royal family. He, like the attending noble, expresses incredulity at the absurdity of the Empire's declaration to help Ainz Ooal Gown reclaim E-Rantel and its surrounding lands. After much discussion, he respectfully step forward to propose to reject the terms and declare war on both the Empire and the mysterious magic caster, much to Gazef’s chagrin. As the meeting concluded, all nobles have pledged their support on the war effort.[1]

Mass for the Dead Arc[]

In order to gain acclaim in noble society, Marquis Pespea had started leading cavalry patrols in person around the capital of the Tripartite Alliance. He had sent a knight out to scout a rest area, which turned out to be where the Great Tomb of Nazarick was located. The knight was captured and interrogated by Neuronist Painkill who learned of the noble's plan and reported it to Momonga. In order to avoid detection, the illusion spell over the dungeon had to be expanded and the knight was sent back with his memories erased.[2]

Marquis Pespea is one of the most influential nobles in the Kingdom and he also has authority among the six great nobles.
Relationships[]
Ramposa III[]
King Ramposa III became Marquis Pespea's father-in-law after he married one of his daughters. He is also believed to be one of the few great nobles who are actually loyal to the King.
Trivia[]
- In the Web Novel, Marquis Pespea is a thin man with a pointy beard.
- His fate after the Massacre at Katze Plains and later the Fall of the Re-Estize Kingdom is unknown.
