Marchioness Raeven is the unnamed wife of Elias Brandt Dale Raeven and the mother of Rii-tan.
Appearance[]
A woman with a pretty face that was shadowed by gloominess. Her clothes were of exquisite make, but their colors were muted.
Personality[]
The Marchioness was described to have originally not be a "happy woman" and was stated to have only agreed to marry her husband in order to mutually consolidate both his and her families power base as Nobles. Due to this transactional relationship, the Marchioness was stated to have had a colder, more business like relationship with her husband.
However, since the birth of Rii-tan, she has begun to smile more often as she began to genuinely bond and fall in love with her husband over their shared love for their son.
Background[]
Marquis Raeven initially married her as a part of his plan to build his political power base. Though they had a loveless relationship, a small miracle would bring them closer together after she bore him a son.[1]
During Marquis Raeven's flight from the Massacre at Katze Plains his thoughts turned to his wife and son as he was being chased by a Dark Young, showing that despite how their relationship was originally nothing more than a transaction between her and her husband to increase his power, she came to genuinely love him over the course of their marriage and the birth of their son.[2]

Relationships[]
Elias Brandt Dale Raeven[]
Originally, Elias only cared for her as a tool and thus there was no love between them in the beginning. After the birth of their son, it caused the cold-hearted man to warm and start appreciating his family. His change in personality made her wonder if there was something wrong with him. However, comparing his current personality with his personality from before the birth of Rii-tan, she came to like this new version of her husband.[4]
Eventually, during the course of raising their son, the Marchioness and Marquis Raeven came to genuinely love each other as husband and wife and one of the Marquis's main reasons of desperately staying alive during the Massacre at Katze Plains was to go home to his wife and firstborn son, and even thought about going home to her to have their second child.
And later despite the immensely depressive aura of having betrayed his nation to the Sorcerer Kingdom during its fall to save his family, Elias was still noticeably happy due to his wife having now given him a second son.
Rii-tan[]
The Marchioness loved her child, however, unlike her husband she tried not to spoil him too much as it would hinder his development. The Marchioness in particular considers him to be a blessing that genuinely made her love her husband due to him changing his personality.
Trivia[]
- The Marchioness apparently belongs to a noble family and has a talented brother that assists in the family domain.
Quotes[]
- (To her husband): "...Darling, baby talking him will spoil his grammar."
