Longevity Nut (長命の実) was a fruit native to the New World.
Description[]
A fruit native fruit found in the New World where the inhabitants use it as a food source. adventurers would collect them in the eastern region of the Great Forest of Tob.
Appearance[]
A light brown colored nut which once broken open reveals a bright red seed inside.
Abilities[]
The seeds of the nut are edible, once its skin is removed. No abilities have been specifically defined, though its there is evidence that the fruit is not just a consumable, as a slime grew to massive proportions on a diet of such fruit. The fruit is a rarity in the New World, used by human and demi-human cultures in festivals, but also it has medicinal properties in curing diseases.
According to Sophie Noia, the nuts have nutritional tonic effect. Though she hypothesizes that if the nut can maximize the body's ability to recover, it might even be effective in removing contamination.
There seems to be evidence to support this as a giant slime that contained the nut's substance promoted plant and matured fish growth when they were exposed to it in a diluted form.[1]
