Log Cabin is the tentative name of a structure that exists at the main entrance to the Great Tomb of Nazarick.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

The Log Cabin was simply designed and made of bare wood, with little ornamentation to speak of. However, it was a full five meters from floor to ceiling, and it was over twenty meters long and wide. There was hardly any furniture here, only a huge mirror hanging on the wall, a massive, sturdy table, and the chairs surrounding it.

Background[edit | edit source]

The log cabin was for another entrance for the Great Tomb of Nazarick and served as a checkpoint and managed by the Pleiades.

The most important task that the maids stationed there was to receive their master from the outside while not wearing a Ring of Ainz Ooal Gown. A secondary task was to divine the enemy's intent in case of invasion. In addition, if the enemy was strong the Pleiades were given orders to allow themselves to be slaughtered without resistance in order to Nazarick a high moral ground for subsequent negotiations. More or less, when someone politely came to the cabin, the maids' final task was to politely give them a final warning. The maids who regularly were stationed at this checkpoint were Yuri Alpha and CZ2I28 Delta.

The log cabin was where Jircniv Rune Farlord El Nix and his imperial delegation arrived at before entering the Great Tomb of Nazarick to formally apologize to Ainz Ooal Gown for the Workers Invasion. While Ainz made some preparations, Yuri Alpha, Lupusregina Beta, and the Homunculus Maids entertained the representatives of the Baharuth Empire, by providing them with warm weather, comfortable chairs, and delicious drinks. When Ainz was ready he had the delegation go through the Gate within the structure.[2][3]

The Pleiades Day Arc[edit | edit source]

Entoma Vasilissa Zeta was stationed there at the time during Yuri's rounds on checking the statuses of her sisters to ask them on what they desired at the orders of Ainz Ooal Gown. The vice-head leader and CZ2I28 Delta paid a visit there to see Entoma, who expressed a wish to make a web of her own and thought the log cabin would be an ideal place much to the objection of her sisters.[4]

Layout[edit | edit source]

A single-story wooden cabin, but built three stories tall, it was located outside the Great Tomb of Nazarick in the grasslands and to the left of the lattice gate. Made from logs that originating from the Great Forest of Tob, the structure on the outside was not particularly eye-catching, though it had big double doors.

The cabin was not wide and had one large room, and two small rooms adjacent to it. On one side of the small room were two simple bunk beds, and reminded one of a room of a dormitory. The other side was completely empty.

A giant mirror was hung from the wall. The log cabin gave off an impression that it was quite difficult to live there. Inside of the hall was a large table. Surrounding it were six chairs. They were made of wood and were not extravagant. It was more for practical purposes.[5]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • In the Web Novel, the Re-Estize Kingdom's representative Archel Nizun Eike Fondoll refused to enter such a shabby house, not understanding it was a path to Ainz's domain, thus making Ainz come to the noble instead.[6]
  • In the Web Novel, the building was there to use the excuse "we had warned you."
