Leoncio (レオンシオ) was a soldier in the Southern Holy Kingdom Army.

Personality

Leoncio was a proud confident man, who was sure of his abilities. He held his image in high regard, as shown in his confrontation against Jaldabaoth. Though he wished to run, knew doing so would make him lose face and ruin his future thus he stood his ground.

Background

Leoncio was the second son of Marquis Bodipo’s secretary, he joined the battle hoping to rise through the ranks with his excellent swordsmanship. Leoncio was among the troops that joined the nobles from the Southern Holy Kingdom to assist the Holy Kingdom Liberation Army and reclaim the Northern Holy Kingdom.

Jaldabaoth’s arrival threw the reinforcements from the Southern Holy Kingdom into disarray. As hundreds died at the mere presence of the demon, Leoncio tried to rally the men to stay and fight. His mount's instinct though wanted to flee, in fear of the approaching demon it got tangled in the fleeing crowds and flung Leoncio from his saddle. Leoncio had sprained his arm from the fall and lost his weapon. While searching for his sword he was hit by Jaldbaoth's flames and burned alive.

Not only being an excellent swordsman, but he was also in command of subordinates given to him by his father, all of whom believed in his abilities.
