Land of Molten Magma is an underground region beneath the Azerlisia Mountains.

Background[]

This sea of scorching heat shone with blinding radiance lies to the north of Feo Jera. It is an extremely dangerous region, where a single lungful of superheated air could prove to be a fatal burn on one's lungs within the chest. Due to the hostile environment, it was one of the Trials that must be face in order to advance to Feo Berkana.

Chronology[]

The Craftsman of Dwarf Arc[]

Main article: The Craftsman of Dwarf Arc

The Land of Molten Magma was briefly visited by Ainz Ooal Gown, Shalltear Bloodfallen, Aura Bella Fiora, and Gondo Firebeard on their way to the ancient dwarf capital. Through the aid of Ainz's magic, the party passed through the region with ease.[1]

Layout[]

The reason why lava could flow uncounted kilometers beneath the earth was most likely because the New World is a magical one. There are naturally-formed portals which were close to the [Gate] spell in terms of power, and they joined the magma flows of this region to those of a distant region.

One must cross it via a narrow path of trimmed rock. There have also been sightings of a huge monster there from time to time.

The region is also home to the La-Angler Lava Lord. It is a unique, but a very powerful monster that swims around the lava pools of the area. No one knows where it originated from, but only that it serves as a greater obstacle to anyone who tries to cross the Land of Molten Magma.

Features[]

Mt. Rappaslea: A mountain linked by a natural Gate on par with the [Gate] spell.

Royal Road: The road to the ancient dwarven royal capital that ran along a narrow, unsteady path that was only a little higher than the sea of molten rock below it.

Trivia[]

  • This area is the second trial of the Trials to Feo Berkana.
  • In Mass for the Dead, the place may have been visited by the protagonist and his allies during a crossover event with characters from Slayers.[2] Though the game image of the 7th Floor of Nazarick, was reused.
