Kill Steal

Kill Steal (横殴り) is a game term to describe when one player kills the enemy another player is fighting.

Overview

In YGGDRASIL, kill stealing was the act of killing a monster someone else was fighting to steal things like XP and stuff.

Incidentally, Ainz Ooal Gown did this many times during their gaming days and had cleaned out the enemy’s bases many times, laughing when other guilds found them empty and raged.

Trivia

• During the Assault on the Elven Capital, Ainz Ooal Gown committed kill stealing as his plan to rob the elven treasury could be classified as an attack on either the Elf Country or the Theocracy and was hurting them in the process.
  • Though he compared the situation to thieves stealing from a burning house.
  • Antilene Heran Fouche unknowingly performed a kill steal after she killed Decem Hougan who was fleeing for his life from Ainz, Mare and Aura.
