Kikotenshin Nekonyan (輝煌天使 (きこうてんし) ねこにゃん) was a Player from YGGDRASIL who arrived in the New World in the past. To the inhabitants of the New World, he was known as the "God of Wind", one of the Six Great Gods who founded the Slane Theocracy.

He is a minor yet pivotal character in Isekai Quartet The Movie -Another World-.

Appearance

Kikotenshin Nekonyan was depicted as a male, blue-haired humanoid. He wore white armor with gold adornments.

Personality

Little is known of his personality, however he, along with the rest of the players who arrived with him, provided protection to the weak humans who were facing extinction in the New World, which shows a level of care and protection at least for his fellow humans.

Background

Main Timeline

Kikotenshin Nekonyan was originally a player from YGGDRASIL who ended up being transferred to the New World at an indeterminate time before the Great Tomb of Nazarick’s transfer. It was said that while in the New World, he had built himself a harem and had many children.

In reality, he was one of the first group of six players who came to the New World and would eventually be remembered as the Six Great Gods, He eventually gained the title God of Wind and would forever be remembered and worshiped by most human nations of the New World.

At some point, he died and his armor was stored away by the Slane Theocracy, guarded by Antilene Heran Fouche, who would ocassionally make use of it.

Alternate Timeline

Kikotenshin Nekonyan came in conflict with a being known as the Primordial Dragon Lord. Immediately before fighting with the Dragon Lord with his Siege Golem, he and his golem were transferred to Another World.

While trapped there, he met an old researcher who was also from a different world. During their time together, they combined their methods to create various types of golem. The first series were based on the Siege Golem, though smaller and in its likeness, before the paladin and researcher developed a new Godzilla-variant golem. Unfortunately, the golem went amok, leading them to create a new type of intelligent golem named Pantagruel. As part of his contribution to Pantagruel's creation, Kikotenshin embedded an item known as Cat Crystal Core into the golem's eye. Together with her and his Siege Golem, Kikotenshin defeated the rampaging golem.

For a time, Kikotenshin and Pantagruel worked together to construct a fortress to house all the golems made by the researcher. Eventually, the old researcher managed to find a portal back to his original world and bid the pair farewell.

Prior to the events of Isekai Quartet The Movie -Another World-, Kikotenshin Nekonyan had passed away. However, his golem creation survived and remained in Another World where time passed for three hundred years.

Six hundred years since his death, Kikotenshin's armor was used by the trump card of the Slane Theocracy, Antilene Heran Fouche, after she was given permission to finally assassinate her father, Decem Hougan. When she accomplished her mission, the Black Scripture member got into a confrontation with Floor Guardian Mare Bello Fiore. Unfortunately, the ensuing fight ended in her defeat. Antilene was taken prisoner and her gear was stripped from her by the Sorcerer Kingdom.[1]

Kikotenshin is never mentioned in the movie, but his journal was kept by Pantagruel and was later found by Vera Mitrohina. Vera, after reading contents, found that there a method that may help her return to her original world, a fact which Pantagruel lied about. This betrayal caused Vera to abandon Pantagruel and Alec Hoshin.

However, details of enacting the conditions to opening a portal eluded her, as it stated that she needed to insert the "chunibyo" into the console to activate the device. When Ainz Ooal Gown, Satou Kazuma, and Chomusuke arrived and agreed to assist her, using their explanation of "chunibyo", she was able to determine that she needed Pantagruel's eyepatch to work the device.

Vera encountered Alec and Pantagruel at the Cathedral dedicated to Kikotenshin. After subduing the golem girl, Vera announced her aim to open a portal to not only return home, but bring with her an army of golems to liberate her war-torn world.[2]

Abilities and Powers

Kikotenshin Nekonyan was a specialized tank. In addition, he had in his possession a Siege Golem. Also, given his creation of Pantagruel, it suggests that he had some skill in golem-making.
