Attack! Of the Spear Hero (襲来!やりのゆうしゃ Shingeki! Yari no Yūsha no) is the fifth episode of Isekai Quartet 3. It was first broadcasted on November 10, 2025.

Summary[]

In Class 3, the teacher, Kyouhukou, announces to Yunyun that they will be receiving a new classmate, to which the latter excitedly states that she will do her best to be their "friend". The new student, Motoyasu Kitamura, then enters and introduces himself before screaming at the sight of his class. While Yunyun and Kyouhukou initially believe he is reacting to the latter, they quickly realize that he is actually repulsed by the former. Motoyasu then calls Yunyun a "pig", causing her to get angry and slap him.

Later, in Class 2, Chris tells Kazuma, Megumin, Subaru, and Emilia about the incident in Class 3, because of which Yunyun has now been send to the guidance room. Emilia does not understand why Yunyun got angry, as she finds pigs cute, so Subaru explains that getting called a one is insulting to most people. In response, Kazuma jokingly claims that Yunyun is not a pig but a "fast grower", unlike Megumin and Chris, causing the two to angrily strangle him. Subaru then asks what became of Motoyasu, to which Chris states that he ran out of Class 3 shouting nonsense.

In the hallway, Motoyasu wonders how he ended up in this world inhabited by pigs that slap him; worse, he cannot fight back since the world's rules do not allow him to draw his spear. Regardless, he resolves to reunite with Filo in this world. Just then, Ram and Rem come walking by, discussing the latter's health, when Motoyasu calls them "oinking twin pigs", angering the two, and they subsequently beat him up.

Meanwhile, in the infirmary, Aura tells Shalltear, Darkness, and Epsilon about what happened in Class 3. While initially disgusted at the prospect of a man who calls every girl he encounters a pig, the three quickly admit that they would not mind being called so themselves, as long as the one doing it is the right person. Just then, Motoyasu walks in and calls the three "slutty squirming pigs", flabbergasting them; Julius, who was in the infirmary bed, also overhears them. While Aura actually agrees with Motoyasu's statement, she decides to "bury" him anyway, which the girls approve of.

Some time later, Motoyasu is with Hamsuke and the Death Knight in the school animal enclosure, his lower body literally buried in the ground. After the Spear Hero reiterates his resolve to meet Filo while pulling himself to his feet, Hamsuke tells him that she and Naofumi are usually in the music at this time. In response, Motoyasu thanks Hamsuke for informing him of Filo and "father's" location before leaving by jumping through the roof. Afterward, Hamsuke wonders what that was about as Wilhelm comes by and asks if something is wrong. When Hamsuke answers that she met Naofumi's "son", Wilhelm is seemingly send into deep thought, prompting the Death Knight to offer him some tea.

Back in the hallway, Ainz, Albedo, and Tanya are walking when they stumble across Motoyasu, deducing that he is the infamous new transfer student. While Motoyasu approaches Ainz for Filo's location, Tanya asks Albedo how she would react to being called a pig, to which the latter deviously answers that should it be obvious. Ainz promptly orders Albedo to stay behind him, but this actually causes Motoyasu to take notice of her and Tanya. However, rather than being repulsed, Motoyasu mistakes both girls for Filolials and calls them "angels". Presuming Ainz is a Felolial trainer, he then once again requests Filo's location, prompting the latter to point him to the music room. Afterward, Albedo is flustered at being called "Ainz's angel", though the overlord notes that Motoyasu did not call her that, before asking whether a demon should be happy at being called an angel.

Motoyasu finally reaches the music room, only to discover that Filo and Naofumi are not there. Instead, he finds Felt, Reinhard, the Pleiades, and the Seven Shadows practicing, all of whom he calls pigs. This angers the girls, especially Felt, who orders Reinhard to "bury" him. Though the knight is compelled to fulfill his mistress orders, upon approaching Motoyasu, he assures him that he will keep his head above ground.

Elsewhere, Sebas is sweeping near the school's front gate when Naofumi, Filo, and Raphtalia exit the building. When asked if something is wrong, they reveal that they have been having these weird chills, and they are thus leaving early, causing the janitor to wish them a good rest.

Back in the animal enclosure, it is revealed that Reinhard put Motoyasu back into the same hole that Aura literally half-buried him in earlier, while Wilhelm, Hamsuke, and the Death Kight watch over him.
