Holy Kingdom Navy is a military navy affiliated with the Roble Holy Kingdom in the New World.

Background[]

The navy seems to be tasked somewhere within or around the northern coastline of the Holy Kingdom. It was said that the Holy Kingdom Navy’s flagship goes by the name known as the "Iron Hammer of the Holy King."

Chronology[]

The Paladin of the Holy Kingdom Arc[]

Main article: The Paladin of the Holy Kingdom I

According to Gustav Montagnés, the reason why the Roble Holy Kingdom haven't been completely conquered yet by the Demi-Human Alliance is because their nation's navy has been pinning down Jaldabaoth’s army on the northern coastline and holding them off. However, if Jaldabaoth manages to figure out some way to deal with that and advances his troops to the south, he admits that they won’t be able to offer the slightest bit of resistance.

Nonetheless, Gustav said this was simply his way of thinking as a man from the north, who knew firsthand account of what Jaldabaoth’s power is like. He revealed to the adventurer team Blue Roses that the navy's battles with Jaldabaoth's army have taken a terrible toll on them while resisting. Gustav states that if this keeps up, they won’t be able to hold off Jaldabaoth’s army forever.[1]

Later on, Gustav made mention of the navy once more stating that it is being slowly worn down by Jaldabaoth's army over the course of time. This indicates that the navy's predicament still remains the same more or less after some time had gone by. He describes how the navy is taking a step closer to the chopping block with each day that passes the longer their resistance weakens.[2]

Strength[]

The navy is sufficiently strong enough to put up resistance against Jaldabaoth's forces. It was said by Gustav that the navy alone is what keeps the Holy Kingdom from complete conquest by enemy hands. Gustav noted how the navy has very few assets which can do battle against flying demons.

Trivia[]

  • Unlike Gustav's thoughts on what will happen to the navy while they fight Jaldabaoth's army of demi-humans, he believes that the people of the south would probably have different plans. For instance, driving off Jaldabaoth with their own might.
  • So far this is the only example of a naval fleet in the Overlord series.
